Dream place for golfers, food and hospitality and everything is so dreamy, golf courses are in wonderful condition. I specially want to thank to Domini the maid, room was always tidy with a smiling face bonus, Naresh the waiter, always ready with morning coffee my cup was always full, Shalin and Anjelique the best omlettes and eggs with smiling face always always And Mr Noor was a perfect problem solver, responsive, positive personality taking care of us during our stay, generally personel was above expectations

We stayed just after new years for our honeymoon from 3rd -10th of Jan and had a Beach front junior suite. I am 40 and my wife is 33. No kids ( I haven’t mentioned kids in the review, but it is kid friendly. However, as a couple you will not have any issues with kids running around etc). This was our second time at Le Telfair having stayed there in 2018 on our first holiday together. It was the best holiday we had ever been on and were happy that when we returned this time, there were some familiar faces (I’ll get to that later!). We were nervous that having had such a great time 5 years ago, it would disappoint this time, but I’m happy to say once again Le Telfair exceeded our expectations at every turn. We had an amazing time and I could not recommend this resort strongly enough and we will certainly be back at some point on the future. Having used this website many times to try and suss out where to stay I will now try and return the favour with a review that has the kind of info that I always want! Rooms: The first time we came we booked a beachfront room (not a suite) but when we got there it was unavailable so we were upgraded to Garden view senior suite. It was amazing and the best room I have ever stayed in by a country mile. This time we had a beach front junior suite. This room was every bit as good as it looks on the website. We were in room 101 which is on the beach but slightly set back which was nice as people aren’t constantly walking past you. You have your own terrace with chairs, private mini beach with sun loungers and it’s about five seconds to the sea. The bed is HUGE and I loved the mattress (I like firm ones so it was perfect for me. The missus likes soft ones so I don’t think she liked it as much but she still said she had good sleeps). The pillows are excellent and they provide a range or soft/firm ones so you’re all good whatever your preference. The bedding is super high quality. There is an outdoor shower which is divine at night as well as a gorgeous bathroom which is really spacious. The room has a fully stocked mini bar including full bottle of whisky and rum if you’re feeling it! The bar gets stocked everyday. The housekeeping staff are lovely and could not be more helpful and attentive if they tried. Our beds were always remade everyday and fresh water provided. Beach: No surprise but the beach is stunning. We haven’t stayed anywhere else in Mauritius so I don’t have a frame of reference, but of course the sand is white and the water turquoise and clear so what more could you want! As we were staying in the height of summer it was 30 degrees everyday and so the water was like getting into a bath. We lounged in it and never got cold. One night I just sat in the ocean watching the sun go down for about 40 mins and could not have been more comfortable. There is a current, but the beach is shallow for well over 200 metres out so you’re not going to have any problems! Restaurants: There are five places

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon in June 2024 and wow, what an experience! We were greeted at our taxi upon arrival with a cold towel and mocktails (it was 8am) and an introduction to our incredible residence host, Ashni. We spent 10 days in the beachfront room which was identical to the website and such an incredible place to stay, bed is super comfy and the room is so spacious, plus it leads directly to the beach with 2 private sunbeds. The food here is incredible, super fresh, well cooked and served by the loveliest people. There is a huge choice of restaurants, it was so hard to choose where to visit twice. Gin'Ja is definitely the best one! We went all inclusive and it truly was, barring lobster - such a treat! We also had a complimentary dinner on the beach to celebrate our honeymoon and a bottle of champagne in our room on arrival. The staff here are beyond helpful and so welcoming, we felt so pampered the whole stay. We also had a couples massage at the spa... wow, would highly recommend! All in all we had the dream honeymoon staying here, would 100% recommend staying!

We stayed at Heritage Le Telfair with our young family for our Familymoon. We picked this particular hotel due to its emphasis on being family friendly without compromising on the more luxurious aspects of a holiday. From our experience the hotel would certainly suit all types of travellers however I wanted our review to reflect our experience staying with young children. Staff: They were absolutely fantastic, from the minute you arrive every single member of staff was so attentive and friendly. Every single staff member we encountered, from management to gardeners, were so incredibly warm and lovely and always made a real effort to speak to you and have fun with the kids. You are welcomed by your own individual host, who will always be on hand to help and book all your activities and restaurants. Our host Pricilla, was particularly great, along with all the kids club and bar staff. Room: We booked a sea view room that was located on the ground floor and opened up to the heated pool. This was ideal for young families as we had easy access the heated pool. It’s worth noting the main pool is lovely but not heated and in our opinion not as child friendly. All the rooms also came with your own sun loungers directly outside, so we were able to put our youngest down for a nap and still sit outside with the baby monitor. Unfortunately, I believe that the heated pool may soon become an adult only area which would be a real shame. Restaurants: We ate at all of the Le Telfair restaurants and they were all fantastic. There was a good mix of casual to more refined dining, so suited whatever mood you were in. We especially enjoyed breakfast at the beach club as unlike the main restaurant, Annabella’s, it was a la carte so made life a lot easier with our young children as we didn’t have to keep getting up and down to get food. The staff were also very helpful at providing us with suitable kids portions. Kid’s Club: We ultimately booked this resort due to the kids club. We wanted a family holiday but also a bit of relaxation time for ourselves. I couldn’t recommend the kid’s club enough. For children up to 3 years old there is a baby club with runs every morning to 3pm and for children 4 years and up there is an older group that runs for most of the day and also provides evening activities. Our children absolutely loved it, our son went on trips, had discos and went swimming. It provided us an opportunity to take advantage of some of the water sports while being assured that the children were also having a nice time. Overall: We could not recommend this hotel enough. It completely exceeded our expectations. We wanted a holiday that we could all enjoy as family but still have a few luxurious aspects. It truly delivered in every area.
