One of the worst. Hygiene 0% , rooms upon check in was really not cleaned( example: there was hair on the bed, bathroom shower area had a blob of hair, W.C. not very clean) basically the entire room was not clean. Oh not to forget my friends room had a rotten apple behide a stand. And there is no Houskeeping staff to clean the room on daily basis. Next worst thing all equitments in the rooms is just for display. There is a telephone but not plugged, there is TV but no remote, wardrobe only 1 side is opening, the safe box is there but not working and i can go on. I understand this is not a 5 star hotel. But basic hygiene standard is not there 🙄 . Please do not book here. I stayed here because I had no choice and the other hotels were booked. Oh and 1 last thing, we did go to complain once but the security guy said there is no manager and he is the only one there( FYI that's in late night) being understanding we expected someone to come but no one came in our 2 night stay here. No one really cares, this hotel caters for group where no one has a choice in what hotel they are put into. Even when I checked the trip advisor now no comments from the hotel for the bad review, which only can mean they do not simply care (because its close masjid Nabawi that's their only advantage) If anyone is to book this hotel, I advice not to.

excellent service. Well placed to enter the Prophet's Mosque in 5 minutes by foot. Hammad at the restaurant and Noor in the concierge service, two excellent people, very helpful and cooperative, will come back Inshallah, go ahead, I recommend 100%

Easy and thankfully an early check-in, which gave us much needed time to go visit Haram and attend to prayers. I had a 2 bedroom overlooking the haram on one of the higher floors, and it was special. Rooms are generous in size, well appointed with amenities, and 2 baths, which is great when you have teenagers who also need their own space. The hotel was conveniently located to Gate 36 of the mosque (about 8 min walk from door to door) and better for men than women who had to walk a bit further to their entrance. Apparently, the hotel offers shuttle services as well, but we didn't need to utilize it. With government requirements and regulations opening the time we got there, it was getting busier and can only imagine how packed it would be at full swing. Lots of groups and tour buses can be rather overwhelming to get lifts/elevators at times. Plus, with so many nationalities and languages, it was a real treat to try and communicate, so always be patient and have an open mind. Easy to order Uber services or taxi from front of hotel. Starbucks for coffee lovers are also available at lobby. Food/breakfast service was fresh and varied, and we never had issues with the service or the quality. Only issue came into play when I was overcharged at checkin for the room and although I caught it a few hours later and brought it to receptions attention, it took an agonzing number of follow ups and empty promises before it was rectified at checkout. Even then, it was like pulling teeth and nearly made us late for our departure. Although the hotel team tried to be helpful, just bear in mind that the concept of speed and efficiency is not the same as in NAmerica. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel, even as an AllAccor member. I personally wasn't offered any additional benefits which in the grand scheme would not really have made a difference given that we were visiting one of the best places on earth!

Firstly I would like to make very clear that there are two Movenpick hotels in Madinah which some reviewers seem to be mixing up! This one is part of the Accor group and the Movenpick Madina that we stayed in. It is BEHIND the Pullman Zamzam Madinah, which faces one side of the Masjid al Nabawi haram. So it is a couple of roads walk away from the haram on the opposite side to the female entrances to the haram. This is nowhere near five star standard. Due to the poor condition of the bathrooms and room decor I would say three is being generous. Despite its attractive entrance and reception this is a rundown hotel in need of refurbishment, in particular the disgusting bathrooms. The bath, sinks and tiles were old, stained and mouldy. This was made worse by the fact that the housekeeping was very poor. The rooms weren’t cleaned and towels not changed unless we requested this. The actual rooms were ok despite the tired looking furnishings and lack of cleaning. The receptionist who checked us in apologised for not giving us adjacent rooms, but we discovered we did have adjacent rooms, and both were triple rooms. The rooms were quite spacious with comfortable generous sized beds but the TVs had very poor reception and the wifi was appalling, regularly dropping out. The fridges in the rooms were tiny and barely cold. In fact they and the lights turned off whenever we took the key cards out! Because of the hotel location the view out of the window was depressing, a view of the main road. A nice touch though was that as well as a Quran there was a nice prayer mat in each room. On our first morning we went down to breakfast to discover that the female staff had already let some guests have breakfast for our rooms. The head of staff quickly resolved this apologising profusely. In fact apart from this confusion on the first day we found the restaurant staff to be very nice people. They always had a smile for us and the waiters always ready to assist. We were very very disappointed with the very limited cooked breakfast items - there was barely any variety and apart from on one day only vegetarian options. The pancakes were disgusting and tasted like long life ones from packets rather than freshly made. Very very disappointing. But the worst was that there was no fresh coffee!! Only sachets of instant coffee. How is this possible in a so called five star restaurant? There was a big unhealthy selection of pastries though. And the strawberry juice when available was nice. We tried to order room service in the evening on one occasion- the staff member (chef?) who answered the call was rude and told us some of the items were either unavailable or incorrectly described on the menu! On the whole staying at this hotel was a major inconvenience due to its location and at best it is a three star hotel. I would not stay here again.

For those who want an excellent stay not far from Masjidil Haram but do not want to pay premium for hotels on clock tower, this hotel is one of the best option. The location is not that far, just behind a tunnels, but the best thing is there are 24 hours free shuttle bus that will pick you up at Kudai bus stop vice versa. From/ to Kudai bus stop is just 5 minutes walking distance to Masjid area. I stay here for 6 nights, and every time i come down. to go to Masjidil Haram, there always a bus waiting. No need to wait, they always there.
The room is clean with sufficient amenities plus a microwave. Yes, they have microwave which is very convenience during our stay. The pantry area with a sink and water outlet also is a big plus for us. Overall, we have a very good stay here.
The only thing that maybe needs to improve is an issue with room's key. During our stay, we need to reactivate our room's key everyday because it is deactivated after 12 p.m. But it's not a big problem for me because reception staff is helpful.

Even though hotel is located around 12k from Masjid Nabwi but thier regular shuttle service with excellent timings for all the 5 prayers makes up fir the distance. The drop off point at Haram of the shuttle is under the haram floor so great service.
Breakfast is OK, not of a 5 star standard though and replenishing is slower, needs improvement.

Good service. Housekeeping come and ask everyday if rooms need cleaning or we need anything. Rooms are decent for the price.. Very close to Masjid An Nabwi.. We were also sent a complimentary fruit hamper to our room.. I was a little worried before coming from reading all the negative reviews but honestly speaking I couldn't find anything to complain about Alhamdulilah..

I stayed at this hotel in Medina coming from Mecca. The rooms are all in one floor. Same floor as the restaurant and the mall. Checking in was easy and seamless. Dian helped us and made our stay enjoyable. He went out of his way to make sure we have all we needed. Breakfast was amazing kudus to chef Hares Elsayed is definitely top class chef. Nasrulsin working hard to ensure everyone’s needs are met. Sama at the reception was very helpful and courteous. Assisted us and was always smiling and helpful. I see Leena on the main floor always asking us if we need anything. All in all the service and staff in this hotel is top notch and one of the best experiences I had in a Marriott hotel being a reward Member for the 13 years. I had a 2 bedroom apartment and was very spacious and clean. The hotel is a far from Alharam but the shuttle is always on time for all prayers. It takes 15-20 minutes. It’s connected to the mall where all kinds of food are available. I will definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here if I come back to beautiful Medina

Outstanding
RrocktheworldThe hotel location was very convenient! Just 200 meters away from the Masjid Nabawi. Very clean hotel. The pillow, bedsheet and bed were comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Really enjoyed my stay! Wifi connection & breakfast was good too. Overall I’m fully satisfied and definitely come back soon.
AAbrar2483One of the best hotels near Masjid Al Nabawi! The staff are incredible! From the moment I arrived, Hassan from concierge assisted me with my bags and the staff at the reception were very friendly and they not only allowed me to check-in early but also upgraded my room with a partial Haram View! All the staff spoke English perfectly. The rooms are nice and spacious with modern furniture and the amenities provided in the room are perfect from bathrobes to multiple kits! The room was relatively clean however I’ve notice multiple finger prints on the refrigerator door as well as the bathroom door which shows those 2 areas weren’t wiped after the previous guests had left. The shower was perfect with nice hot water and the bathroom was spacious enough.
The hotel has 2 towers and we didn’t know which tower to go to so we ended up going to tower 1 were the receptionist informed us that our booking is in tower 2. I had an elderly guest with me and moving towers like this was very inconvenient. The hotel should inform the guests about the tower number and parking instructions before arriving at the hotel.
The hotel is very close to the Haram with just 6-7 minutes walk to both the men’s and the women’s entrance (door 11 and 12). Upon returning to the hotel, the staff were promptly situated outside the elevator doors assisting guests with the elevators.
About the breakfast. It was fantastic! The options available were great and included selections of
cold appetizers, bakery items, main courses including french toast and pancakes. The breakfast staff were very friendly and efficient and they never said no, especially Riaz he served us coffee and hot chocolate. The items were being refilled quickly. The 2 ladies welcomed us for breakfast with a huge smile.
Suggestions to improve breakfast:
1) there was no live cooking counter for omelette. The omlette was being cooked in the kitchen and was being stocked in the hot plate. It would be great if the hotel could consider introducing live counter for omelette as it really would help us guests to make the perfect omelette for ourselves and eating it warm and fresh. Other hotels do have a live counter.
2) Though all the breakfast items were great, the French toast wasn’t good at all! It didn’t taste like a French toast. The sambosas were undercooked and very chewy so wasn’t able to eat them. Improvements on this will make the breakfast experience perfect!
One more thing to add is that the staff not once said “No”. They always accommodated our requests whatsoever. I asked the reception for a plastic chair for my elderly mother to sit and take a shower, thought they didn’t have it, they offered us to switch to an accessible room with no additional costs!
The hotel is not very busy and crowded as I didn’t see any groups here. I hope the hotel can maintain this very same standard or else it’ll be very easy to be like the other hotels who don’t care about guests.
All in all, I’ll definitely choose Al Manakha Rotana again on my next trip to Madinah and wishing this hotel success!
HHyped HolidaysArrived at the hotel and upgraded to a suite. Unfortunately poor standard poor selection of meals breakfast was okay dinner was not great not many options
HHiThereSgIt is a good thing that you are not a part of the problem and that you are not a victim of the problem and you are not a problem because you are the one that has to be the good.
AAzmieExcellent and spacious rooms and underground parking. Everything just works perfectly. Check-in was smooth. The hotel is pristine and smells good all.the time. The bathroom was a bit small but adequate - not a show stopper. The area immediately around the hotel was a bit old and unclean but the construction activity in the area seems to indicate that it will soon be upgraded. 15 minute brisk walk to Haram. We booked this hotel because we had a car and it offered free parking so we thought we could just drive to the Haram and park underground there. We ended up walking anyway - was quite okay. Breakfast was not that good. Variety and quality could be improved.
Overall I can highly recommend this hotel for a clean, comfortable, value for money option.
SSofianeVery nice hotel, modern and clean, great staff, comfortable and spacious room.
Small downsides: problems with hot water in the shower and the distance from Masjid Ennabawi due to work in the city but the hotel provides a shuttle before and after each prayer
44khtar1My stay on 9 to 11 of Feb 2023.
Excellent location, short walk from towards the Masjid - the side of the Green Dome.
Also a short walk to the food market.
Friendly staff and spacious clean room - good condition bath and shower (no horrible grout work)- comfortable mattress topper - clean Tea/Coffee making facilities.
Hallway to room smells good with some sort of atomiser and lifts are fast, on either side of the hallway.
The receptionist kindly gave me an upgrade from the usual room I'd booked.
All in all, this was a pleasant and peaceful experience. I comfortably got changed into my Ihram, ready for my onwards journey to Makkah via train.
Mr Akhtar
MMamadou BhoyeI would like to thank the whole team of this hotel and especially Abdurahman and his night colleague who welcomed me as well as Jumana and her colleague today for their warm welcome, professionalism, availability and flexibility.
I've stayed in some of the big brand hotels during my travels in Saudi Arabia and I can confirm that you are the best in terms of customer relations, service, welcome etc....
The room was clean and quiet, the bathroom was also clean. The hotel is also well located for getting to the Masjid Al Nabawi mosque ...
I would definitely come back again.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Madina.
GGuest UserCan't remember how I cam across this hotel but it was a very good value booking and after staying I can say the location in fantastic. Especially if you have women that need to access the the women's area of Masjid Nabwi. i have previously stayed at their sister branch Artal Taibah. this hotel should not be confused with the adjacent building Artal Al Munawwarah. Check-in wasn't smooth as they kept asking for a reservation number and the one provided by the site i booked on (LastMinute) was not something they would recognise. the hotel staff are all very helpful, from reception through to room service. The location is fantastic. Plenty of places to choose from to eat. The cheaper places are literally 60 second walk, if that. Want something more upmarket then less than 5 min walk to the food courts. It was a 5-7 min walk to the outer gates of Masjid Nabwi courtyard. Entry 338 which then gives you easy access to women from gates 27 onwards and easy access to gate 22 for men. This was the gem
PPASHARESHVery worst hotel ever visited, management has fraud people they try to loot money as it shows Sar 99 on bookings but when we check in they say all charges tax... Etc and room charge is Sar 350 and when we showed booking then he accepts as ”I mean to say tat including tax it will he 145 to 150 Sar”. Anyways we checked in as we were getting late we want to go to Salah,. Now the worst part when we entered room No kitchen, Dirty floor, Very bad condition toilets No hot water at all the geyser never works, Water leaking from bathroom taps and the flushing out from bathroom to rooms. We had to complain the staff and waited till magrib Salah we reached at zuhur Salah time, boz of them we couldn't get fresh and we missed all Salah a d time was waste. Please don't ever take this hotel all fraud and coward staff management. And and finally plumber came to fix and nothing worked and many circus happened nothing CAN BE FIXED, so at last our room was changed was changed and we had to rush to nabawi masjid for Ishaan Salah. AGAIN NO HOT WATER IN ROOMS AND THEIR GEYSERS NVER GRT HEATED LUCKILY I HAD A KETTLE I USED THE KETTLE TO HEAT WATER AND USE HOT WATER FOR MY LITTLE TWINS INFANTS. VERY VERY WORST HOTEL ALL OUR DAY TIME WAS SPOILED BOZ OF THEM AND NEXT DAY WE ALL MANAGEMENT WAS BEHIND US FROM MORNING REMINDERS WHEN WE ARE CHECKING OUT OR WILL CONTINUE TO STAY SO THEY CAN LOOT AND MAKE MORE MONEY..... ALLAH HAS TO GIVE THEM SENSE TO STOP DOING FRAUD AND PROVIDE GUD SERVICE TO THE CUSTOMER AS WE COME WITH ALL GUD THOUGHTS SHLDNT BE DISSAPOINT WITH SUCH FRAUD HOTELS SERVICES NOTE:I'M WRITING THIS BOZ AS WE FACED THE ISSUES HOPE OTHER WHO VISIT OUR MUHAMMAD PLACE SHLDNT FACE SUCH BAD EXPERIENCE, IF STILL HAVE TO TAKE Al Eairy Furnished Apartments Al MADINAH, IT'S UR RESPONSIBILITY TAT U CHECK THEIR GEYSER TAPS AND CALL THEM TO REAIR and then Cann them cleaning then finally they will change another room and by then u get frustrated and adjust to check out. But they are very keen in timings for checkout and loot money they are least bother that u have wasted one full day boz of irresponsible and negligence service. If u delay by 30 mins also they will insult you asking in front of all other guests and come to ur room door keep knocking ur door and speak very loud tone so tat all guest in entire building hear. SO PLEASE KIND REQUEST NEVER EVER TRY OR THINK OF TAKING THIS HOTEL IF UR ADVENTOROUS HAVE MORE TIME CAN GIVE A TRY AND FACE QLL THE ABOVE.
