I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The location is perfect, situated in the heart of Melaka, making it convenient to explore all the main attractions. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and efficient service. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and I felt like a valued guest throughout my stay. The room was immaculate and beautifully decorated, with all the modern amenities one could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. I particularly enjoyed the stunning view from my window, which added to the overall ambiance of relaxation.

Terrible pillow cleanliness as photo attached. Smelly & very dirty pillow. Yellow spot ( which im very sure is air liur basi stain) every where. We asked to changed 3 pillows then they give new pillow with the same stain. 2 nd time asked to change pillow again & they gave us new pillows. This time no stains. Thanks to the housekeeping guy for helping us.

The hotel from the exterior looked really grand. The room was quite big in size and the hotel reception staff were nice enough. We (husband, two teenage children and I) arrived an hour early and were directed to the note that they didn’t have early check-ins. The doorman was nice and gave us an umbrella as it was raining when we were going out. However, the bathroom was not very clean with rotting shower screen because of most likely poor cleaning. The towels in the bathroom were supposed to be white but were brown in colour and stained. Unfortunately, we had to use these as there was no other option, felt unclean after shower. The corridor had a musty odour which was overpowering. Stayed two nights and had put up a door sign to have the room cleaned but no one came around and we were out all day. Bottled water was given on the first day but not on the subsequent day. I’m glad we only stayed two nights as couldn’t have tolerated the place for any longer.

My stay at Bayview Hotel Melaka was truly memorable, thanks in part to the exceptionally helpful and friendly front desk staff. Cleanliness was impeccable throughout the hotel, with every corner reflecting the staff's dedication to maintaining a pristine environment. While not ultra-modern, the hotel provided most essential amenities, including well-maintained gym and pool facilities. The old-school design and ambiance added a charming touch, offering a glimpse into Melaka's rich history. Its strategic location in the heart of Melaka made exploring the city's attractions effortless. The spacious room, with its breathtaking view of the bustling streets and serene river, was a highlight. It offered a cozy retreat after a day of sightseeing. However, what truly stood out was the warmth and professionalism of the front desk staff. From check-in to check-out, they were always ready to assist with a smile, offering valuable tips and ensuring all my needs were met promptly. For those seeking a blend of comfort, nostalgia, and outstanding hospitality in Melaka, Bayview Hotel Melaka is highly recommended.

The view from my room is beautiful, can see Melaka River and all city 🫶🏻… Free parking provided for guest(sharing park with swiss gardeen hotel,Level 7&8) But to be honest for staycation is just nice, u do not expect to much yaa.. The room i got level 31-092, air-conditioning not properly functioning. The designer for bathroom wall(are glasses) not suitable for family or friends to stay together unless a married couple. Because you all can see transparency thru the glass, no binder provided and also the bathroom door no doorknob yaa. You guys can imagine, no privacy😅 Yes, for the lift until August 2024 there is not improvement despite a lot of complaint 🤒 It can be ages to waiting for the lift.

They are not lying when they said unlimited breakfast buffet from 7am till 12pm. This is the most great thing about this hotel. Their view is beautiful. Like others mentioned, we can see melaka river cruise at night from the balcony. Other than that, facilities in children a bit wear out already. However we did enjoy the pool because it’s quite big. The adult pool have infinity view but slightly poor in cleanliness.

Everything is good expect two things: 1. We do not expect the management is not under The Pines. 2. Water heater like isn't working, force to shower with cold water.

This place was very cozy and clean. I love its environment. Their front desks person were very helpful and cheerful. It has a lot of parking spaces but a bit scary as it is not fully completed yet. Otherwise, you can park in front of the hotel (first come first serve). Overall, I recommend this Amber Cove for you to stay 🫰

Where do I begin with this hotel…?! Booked for 3 nights via Expedia because the hotel’s reservation page kept declining my credit card but still charging it - will sort this out later. Check-in: was told I had to pay a RM50 deposit in cash when I checked in. My hotel was prepaid online but I have no issue with the deposit, except they wouldn’t take credit cards for the deposit as they apparently cannot issue deposit refunds via credit card. I guess they haven’t learned about placing authorizations on cards and reversing the charges. They have Touch n’Go e-wallet stickers at reception but also wouldn’t allow me to pay the deposit via TnG. Fortunately I had some cash on me or I would have had to go find an ATM to withdraw money. Arguing with the receptionist is pointless since they’re merely enforcing stupid and nonsensical policies by management. Room: basic but acceptable. The remote controls for the air conditioning and tv were given at check-in. I guess the management is highly suspicious of guests and will not leave them in the room. Hot water in the shower was lukewarm at best and water pressure so-so. TV channels have zero channels in English. Guess English-speakers aren’t their intended clientele. Housekeeping does not automatically make up rooms. I was out the whole day and when I came back around 645pm, realised that the room was not made up. By then I had decided to move hotels and forego remaining 2 nights after the first night. At checkout when I told the receptionist about the unmade room, I was told that I had to call housekeeping to clean the room. What kind of half-baked, cheapskate dump has such a ridiculous policy!? I was told that apparently some guests don’t allow housekeeping in and so they just decided to not clean until asked. Amazingly every other respectable hotel in the world has a better solution to this - come back later!! Funnily this ridiculous policy is also not communicated at check-in. I didn’t expect an offer of refund for checking out early. Any hotel whose management is such a skinflint that they wouldn’t even provide daily housekeeping or keep the remotes in the room can hardly be expected to engage in customer service. Oh as a bonus, I saw an ironing board in the corridor. They wouldn’t provide ironing boards in the room of course. The pictures say more than I can. Verdict: never coming back here again if I can help it. Overpriced and does not deserve 3 star rating.

I would rate my stay in this hotel as excellent. Staffs is friendly and helping. Hotel accommodation is new and design is superb. Bed is comfortable. Breakfast is delicious love the sambal nasi lemak and the croissant was veryyyy soft and delicious. Just that there is no specific parking space we parked at metra sentral parking space near their lobby. Lots of reserved parking but didnt see any car parking. When asking the counter informed that reserved parking means already full.😅 but overall everything ok
