The hotel restaurant can see the lake, the scenery is invincible, breakfast is available from 7:30-9:00, two hours of breakfast is enough to cover the hotel accommodation fee, after breakfast, go to the back of the hotel to stroll around, the lake is beautiful, the lake is surrounded by clouds and the water is clear. At the end, it can make up for the small insufficiency of the room.

Beautiful Palace in a wonderfully relaxed location right on Lac d’Annecy with a direct and private access to the lake. The hotel itself is rather on a 4* level and could do with some refreshing. In the rooms, many edges have splittered off painting and the last renovation have clearly been done “on a budget”. Staff would need better training to be up to 5 star: long waiting times on reception, untrained staff making lots of errors in bookings and in giving infos. Two real downsides: 1) Spa: no real spa there but just a (nice!) indoor pool and a hammam. The only treatment available are 3 different massages however when booking they’ll never ask you what you choose but just the duration. The quality of massage was little professional. 2) The restaurant: untrained staff, almost rude (she insisted on knowing our dessert choice even before we started our appetizers as “it makes it easier for me”). Quality of food was clearly below expectations. Oversalted, heavy in cream and lack of taste.

Happy to have chosen this hotel for a short stay in Annecy. Easy booking and communicating with the hotel from the beginning! The Good: - very friendly and approachable staffs. easy breezy check in/out - top central location near old town, close to cafes, restaurants, shops and the lake! - great deco at the lobby, modern and filled with fun activities - parking garage right next to it - room with balcony and riverside view, also come with kettle. Nice air-conditioned. - reasonably priced Less Good: - extremely old parking garage - filthy dirty, small tight spaces, can be pricey for long hours parking - room and upper floors are very dated, old furnishing, quite basic. Not the same as the standard modern Ibis style - small, old and not-smart tv (not big issue but again it makes the room sad) Overall good for short stay but can be better for sure to suit the modern Ibis image!

Nous avons trouvé le catarina par hasard en cherchant un lieu pour un grand weekend. Quel bonheur d'arriver dans ce lieu entre le lac et la montagne. La vue du chalet est très belle. La chambre ”Le lac” est spacieuse, située au dernier étage, sous les toits. La propreté de la chambre est irréprochable. Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par nos hôtes. Ils sont au petits soins pour vous, n'hésitez pas à leur demander des conseils pour les ballades les restaurants. Le petit-déjeuner est servi dans la salle à manger avec le choix entre sucré et salé selon vos goûts ( ou les 2 pour les gourmands) produits faits maisons ( le gâteau à l'orange est un délice, le jus d'orange pressé ) produits locaux... Le prix de notre séjour au mois de juillet était correct pour la prestation. Une cuisine est disponible pour vous préparer à manger ainsi qu'une place dans le frigo. Des vélos sont disponibles pour faire le tour du Lac Des hôtes très sympathiques
