Sova Micro-Room & Social Hotel

I was here for business purposes. Great stay.overall,i had enjoyed my stay.

In a very good location in relation to other activities we did around the city. Only a few minutes from the Cotton Bowl stadium, the Dallas Symphony Center, the Farmers Market, the Deep Elm area, and so much more. Made my trip there much more enjoyable.

Chic traveler spot. So close to restaurants and sights downtown. The staff is so awesome. I kinda miss them!

The staff was great and the location was also great for downtown shopping and nightlife

The staff were friendly & helpful & even walked to my car,after I was instructed to park across the street,to explain the parking process.You'll need to pay for parking but its not that expensive & it lasts for 24 hours. The bigger problem was the facility-the foyer/entrance was blocked with a ton of people doing activities from singing with an amp on the sidewalk in front of the entrance to people piled into the tiny foyer selling drinks and massages (yes, masseuses were there to give massages to people sitting or lying down IN THE TINY FOYER) to the point that the entrance to get to the hallway that lead to the elevator was mostly blocked. I had a lot of trouble navigating my very small carry-on suitcase with wheels. So much so that I had to basically pick the suitcase up, walk sideways through the chairs & people who did not offer to move their tables. I'm disabled, so having to pick up my suitcase to smoosh through people and furniture was difficult & painful & defeats the whole point of having a bag on wheels. Had I been in a wheelchair, I highly doubt that I would have been able to get through at all. I didn't measure the hallways or access to them but I truly wonder if a standard sized wheelchair can turn the corners in the hallways of each floor to access the rooms. That's disconcerting to me. I liked the hotel in general, the rooms seemed clean (though a bit dusty) & at a great price. But the microtel is clearly marketed to a very young able-bodied hipster crowd.

Very nice property, very clean, staff was exceptionally great. I definitely will be back at Sova

We loved the room. Felt very safe.I was there for a conference at a hotel down the street. Very convenient to conference halls. Will stay here again.

The room is small and clean. The room only have the space for a bed and a bathroom.
