Kimpton hotel was a great stay! I enjoyed it! Also has convenient transportation for there guest. The shuttle bus to & from the beach was very awesome didn’t have to worry about looking for parking on south beach. Roof top pool was amazing “aesthetically pleasing” has a spot where you can do yoga etc. the hotel was literally about 7-10 mins for the beach. Overall I enjoyed my stay I’ll rate them a 8/10

From the disappointment on the first day to the surprise on the second day, this trip is very, very satisfying. Because the room I was given on the first night was very noisy, I didn’t sleep well one night, and I wanted to change the room the next day. Because I can’t communicate well in English, I tried to contact Ctrip’s customer service to discuss changing the room with the hotel, and the hotel quickly responded. The problem of changing rooms was solved, and the changed rooms satisfied us very much. Thank you Ctrip and Kimpton Hotel Palomar South Bay for giving us a very pleasant stay experience.

The staff here is so friendly and helpful! The only disappointment is that the on site restaurant is currently closed and there aren’t good takeout options nearby.

Overall the hotel was great with a very friendly staff. Free coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. However, they really don't have a restaurant and it was closed most of the time. They need to get a chef driving restaurant so that their guest don't have to eat at other hotel restaurants.

Beautiful location everything was so presentable and nice. The hotel is extremely clean. The staff and the service is amazing. Everybody is super sweet, respectful and helpful. Just beware that there is a $450 deposit even after you pay for your reservation and all of that stuff, so just keep that in mind parking can get pricey so if you don’t really need a car, I don’t suggest getting one. The pool area was very beautiful and relaxing. The pool is very small though not very big for a lot of people if you do stay here, I recommend the grande suite with the terrace. It was super gorgeous a vibe and absolutely loved it. They did a great job. Housekeeping servicing was amazing. They were on point came every morning. I came back to a clean room every single morning . I will say it is very noisy in regards to location constant beeping, heavy traffic, etc. overall Kimpton Palomar was a very nice stay highly recommend.

The service was amazing!! The management and staff were friendly. I have no real complaints; however, the room was an odd shape and the patio outside my room could’ve been a bit cleaner. Overall the ambience was great and the decor was not overwhelming. Bonus points- They offer complementary wine in the lobby from 5 PM to 6 PM

The staff at the front desk was not very kind.
The scent machine and air conditioning were turned up, the smell was way too strong and the AC way too cold.
The shower had no door, so the water ended up on the floor, requiring two towels to avoid getting everything wet.
