Hotel Tocq

Fantastic service! We stayed for 5 days and it was an absolute delight. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast buffet had everything you could ask for.

Better value than expected! Plus, it's right next to a Xiao Long Kan hotpot, which satisfied my craving for Chinese food.

Super breakfast, and we were upgraded to a room with a rooftop terrace. The location is fantastic: Chinatown is just around the corner, and the metro station and airport train station are both a 5-minute walk away.

An absolutely terrible experience. The black-skinned, elderly staff member at the front desk had an extremely poor attitude and a raspy, harsh voice. Their slightly discriminatory service truly made me furious. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place. Other staff members were fine, but overall, the entire experience was very unpleasant. When I was drinking water in the lobby, I don't know if they thought I owed them something, but they kept staring at me. What exactly were they looking at? Their voice was loud and their attitude was mean. Is this how you behave in the service industry? They don't even understand basic manners. I hope Trip.com provides feedback to the hotel and severely reprimands this individual.

To start, I did not actually stay at this hotel. On the day of check-in, I received a message stating that due to a system error, my reservation could not be found. However, they promptly arranged an equivalent or better hotel in the same area. I felt their response was very efficient. I then checked into the alternative hotel, and my stay there was very comfortable.
