Ocean's Resort Villa Vorla
4/513 Reviews
The room in the villa was large, 2 people and was very large 々. There was a refrigerator, microwave oven, kettle, insect repellent, deodorant, dryer, toothbrush, body towel, razor. Shampoo and rinse are also provided, but there is no cosmetic water, so it is better to bring it. I was prepared because I heard that there was a insect at the time of check-in even in the previous word of mouth, but there were about 1 insects I met. It's okay if you don't get the light as much as possible by closing the curtain at night. The pool was very active when it was not put into the sea on a rainy day with a depth of 1.3m. When my body was cold in the pool, the jacuzzi was right next to me. Breakfast was prepared with enough buffet to eat in the morning, and I was happy to prepare mozuku and Okinawa Prefecture. There were fruits, but I'm glad if there were mangoes and pine. It was a great satisfaction stay overall. Thank you.
Allamanda Imgya Coral Village

Fantastic experience at this hotel. Amazing villa in a fantastic estate (Shared grounds by a number of Shigira hotels). The staff went out of there way to make our stay comfortable. They had daily activities for the kids, my daughters painted Shiisa and participated in Suika-wari. We chose the eco-cleaning option most days, and full cleaning on the middle day of our six day stay. Was totally satisfactory and fresh bath towels, beach towels and bottles of water were replenished each day. For those in other comments who complain, it’s simple, don’t choose the eco-clean! What we really loved about the shigira grounds was the number of choices available. 8 Shigira hotels, 32 restaurants and cafes available with a bus service that will pick you up and drop you off at anytime, just ask the staff and wait 5 mins. The little beach in front of Imgya Allamanda Coral was, though small, lovely with lots of colorful fish around. It was very safe with my younger daughter too. It was easy to jump in the pool directly straight after the beach too. Our favorite staff member “Moana” advised us to spend a day at Aragusku (新城) beach, and she wasn’t wrong!! Our favorite beach on Miyako Island. Extremely flat and safe water with hundreds of different fish swimming around (though I didn’t I recommend taking marine shoes). My eldest daughter and I swam around with a turtle for 10 mins. We paid 1000yen and rented chairs/umbrella for the day, was totally worth it to escape the heat. Not worth taking a tent/shade, just rent the one there, they’re well set up. Finally, and what I think really topped our stay, was having such a private villa on the far end looking out over the green forest. I recommend, if you can, requesting a room at the eastern side of the property (furtherest from the road), I think our experience may have been different if we were stuck between other villas with people walking past all the time. The villas have beautiful outdoor spa baths on the balcony, ours looked out over the forest and nobody could walk in front. Walking around the property though, I noticed that everyone who was not on the end always had their balcony curtain down for privacy. I don’t really want to complain because we’ve had such a great time, but if asked my complaint would be the villa sofa. It’s the most uncomfortable sofa I’ve sat on… sorry🤭 We check out tomorrow. We’ve had such a great 6 days away here, thank you Allamanda Imgya Coral Village!! We’re coming back next year!
The Rescape

The location and hotel are very aesthetically pleasing, and there are no disadvantages other than being far away from the center and more suitable for self-driving or chartered cars. The decoration seems to be a design office for the MUJI hotel. There are many local characteristics of glass lamps and large pieces of wood home. The style is simple and beautiful. The swimming pool is sheltered by plants, and it is a landscape design with wind and rain. Hotel dining is well worth it, and the experience of homemade spa bath salt is also very interesting. It's a pity to roast marshmallows without an appointment. In addition, due to the season and the sea breeze, there will be a lot of garbage floating on the cruise ship every day. You can’t see it if you don’t go to the roots of the plants, but it might make more sense if the hotel can organize some environmental protection actions.
Private Resort Hotel RENN
4.7/53 Reviews
Private Resort Hotel RENN is simply stunning. It is set in the south east of the island, a short distance from the best beaches, but far away from the big resort hotels that obscure the beauty of the environment. It offers a truly authentic experience of the island that is very rare to find when discovering a new place. Everything is of extremely high quality. The hotel is a striking design statement and the rooms are tastefully appointed. Each room has a lovely covered balcony with a sea view as well as an open roof terrace above the room with the same beautiful view. The roof terrace is the perfect place to watch the sun rise. The fittings are also of the highest quality with a large, stylish bathroom, including a shower from which the sky is visible. It feels like living in a luxurious private house, utterly peaceful and far removed from the usual signs of tourism. Guests should certainly book the breakfasts, which are fantastic. I had breakfasts on two days. On each day a completely different style of breakfast was served, traditional Japanese one day and continental the next. The food is locally sourced and each day included a variety of courses, including local fruit and spices. I felt treated to the best home cooking by a really knowledgeable cook. I can’t remember eating better breakfasts anywhere in the world in many years of travelling. The experience was completed by the owner, who was wonderfully helpful in supporting my stay. As a non Japanese speaker without a car, I might easily have found it difficult. But both before I arrived and during my stay, the owner, Renn, took the trouble to find out information for me and to support me to see parts of the island that wouldn’t have been possible without help. He was the perfect host and my trip was certainly richer for his local knowledge and recommendations of the best places to go. This is the best hotel I stayed in during my time in Japan by a distance. It is a very special place that I will not forget. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a truly authentic experience of the island in a beautiful and peaceful environment.
Hotel Shigira Mirage

Hotel that seems to be good to go. It is very nice with service and amenities and you can enjoy champagne from breakfast. The staff are also polite, but there are too few oral explanations, so I feel that I could enjoy it more if I could teach you how to use this service a little more meaningful.
Miyako Old Folk House
4/51 Reviews
We stayed with 4 family members. You can relax like your own house. There is also a washing machine so you can wash it every day and there are tableware and frying pans. I didn't cook, but I took out my lunch and ate it. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.
