Ok, so the hotel could benefit from a little bit of TLC in some areas but I am still giving it 5* based on incredible value for money. The owner was super hospitable and happy to offer any help she could. We had room 18 on the top floor with a balcony overlooking the front of the hotel. Room was spacious, clean, with a double and single bed. Breakfast was good and available from 8am. Ample parking outside. Sizable ski/boot room that could be accessed from outside. For those that don't know Morzine, the location is fantastic too. Only a few minutes walk from everything. Ski bus stop was just a few minutes walk if you wanted to head straight to Avoriaz Prodains gondola. Would happily stay here agin.

Giving Bonne Valette 4 stars out of 5 is perhaps generous as it is a somewhat ‘basic’ hotel in need of a bit of TLC. That said we have stayed there several times and would be happy to use it again, especially if budget is an issue. It is a little quirky but has a certain charm about it and it main benefit is it’s central location in Morzine. If you’re after luxury or fine food then look elsewhere but otherwise if a simple and affordable stay is your priority then it’s a good option.

Great location, nice large rooms, friendly host and made very welcome. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. Although the hotel is old and slightly tired, it is clean and tidy. The breakfast was lovely and so much choice. The bar was well stocked and nothing was too much trouble. Good car parking and safe and secure

I stayed here with friends for a recent ski trip. It was great value, clean, tidy and perfect for what we needed. Comfortable bed and a good shower. Good breakfast and nice people. Good location too as in close proximity to the bars and restaurants in the heart of the resort as well as the slopes.

A good small hotel with low prices for Morzine single room or + television, WIFI, swimming pool more suitable for children....breakfast - Very generous buffet...warm atmosphere....parking....comfortable rooms.. .near the city center

While passing through Morzine we booked a room for three people at €130 per night (breakfast not included). Dilapidated hotel, both in the common areas and the room itself. No elevator (3rd floor). Attic room under the roof. Poor thermal insulation and balcony of the room communicating directly without separation with the room next door, making it impossible to keep the shutters open at night to cool off, especially since the neighbor had pushed the drying rack in front of our shutters. The welcome is indeed pleasant and consistent with other reviews. The breakfast is very good. In conclusion, very poor value for money.

I was in this hotel to participate in a Spartan race, I took a single room for 2 nights. The structure is a little old but for the price it was fine, the room had everything you needed and the hotel is very close to the center so in an excellent position. Friendly and welcoming staff

"Chocolate box" type building in a cute city! Very close to downtown, Pleney lift and many shops and restaurants, just a short 2-3 block walk. The internal rooms are simple, especially the bedroom and bathroom, and would need renovation, as the furniture is old and worn, but it is comfortable and clean, and the price is fair, so the result is positive. We stayed in two connecting rooms on the top floor, which had a beautiful view (see photo) Friendly service, appearing to be a family hotel, attended by the owners.
