It was so good that I thought it was a pity that I only stayed for one night. The Mediterranean restaurant located inside the resort was not very tasty, but the breakfast was very good. It was an English breakfast buffet (sausage, bacon, eggs, etc.), and there was also a little Turkish breakfast menu (ham, cheese, tomato, cucumber). The staff were friendly and the amenities were good~ It's nice to see nearby Bujiba.

This is the second time I have stayed at this very special boutique hotel. The hotel is run extremely well with the staff being friendly and efficient, the food was absolutely delicious and our bed was extremely comfortable with beautifully soft pillows. My one criticism is that there were far too many people visiting the hotel who were not residents. On the Saturday and Sunday it was impossible to get a sun bed around the swimming pool and the guests were extremely noisy. One woman who brought a group of friends had won a day at the hotel. For two hours the group conducted a very loud three way conversation in the pool shouting at the top of their voices and had no respect for the hotel residents at all. This sort of behaviour in a small boutique hotel is unacceptable and not what we expected. Sadly due to the above we probably won’t be coming back. I thought I had found a quiet little gem in the middle of Malta, but it has become so noisy and crowded that it spoilt our weekend.

A very comfortable place, you can count on everything you need to spend a good vacation, the food is good and the service is great, the cleaning is fine.

Having stayed in several hotels in the area (Dolmen, Seaview, Topaz), I decided to go for the closest to the action for my latest trip. I believe the Primera Hotel has been undergoing upgrades since COVID. The results of these are visible in some areas and in others there is work to be done. All the staff were superb. Friendly, helpful and welcoming. I didn't catch many names, but Njelli??Nellie?? on reception, Clayton night reception, were great. Housekeeping were also polite and very friendly. The room, on the second floor, was quite large and comfortable. The furniture (wardrobes, drawers, bedside cabinets and fridge all looked brand new. The bed was two fairly basic metal frames with relatively poor mattresses, which had very stiff edges so there was no chance of a spread across the two singles to treat as a double bed. The bathroom was again a good size and was clean with what looked like fairly new tiling. The only downside of the bathroom was the ridiculous shower cubicle with doors that don't roll on the runners but must be almost picked up and put into place when showering. The roof terrace again looks as though it has been recently renovated and was a really surprising treat. Wonderfully clean and tidy. Plenty of loungers and a pool that is big enough to have a cooling dip when the sun gets a little hot. A TV plays tranquil music and WC/changing facilities were a nice touch. I would guess there is enough space for a small bar or a pool table up there if the owners were so inclined. I watched the Saturday of the Malta airshow display with a great view over St. Pauls bay. Such a shame that the Sunday was canceled due to the high winds. The location can not be beaten. So many bars and restaurants are within a few minutes (in some cases seconds) walk. Less than a hundred yards to the promenade beach and swimming. All in all I wouldn't hesitate to recommend, on the understanding that The Primera is not perfect but I believe they are working to get there. I for one will be back. Many thanks

Perfect location. Clean room. Great service. Good view. But.... I visited in March when it was very cold. No heating and the sliding door had many gaps where the wind whistled in so my two nights were very cold and no additional blankets.

This is not the first time I've stayed at Qawra Point Complex, it has always been a pleasure to stay. The staff couldn't be more accommodating, very friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable and rooms cleaned daily. There was everything needed in the apartment, fridge freezer, kettle, cups, cutlery etc The location is perfect, close to bars restaurants, transport routes. Of course it isn't a huge hotel complex or chain and therefore I don't expect it to have everything, you're also not paying those prices. The wifi is free and in all areas. I have taken my father with me on more than one occasion as he enjoys everything the hotel and area has to offer and he can be critical if he doesn't believe something is good value. I feel safe wandering round the area on my own and have been given fantastic recommendations for places to go from the staff team there. The rooftop pool area is small, the view is wonderful, it's a lovely place to relax. I will most certainly be returning.

We’ve enjoyed the weekend at Urban Valley. We visited with our small dog. Upon arrival they made us feel welcome! Dream, our dog had his own bed, a bucket full of goodies also for him to enjoy! The manager, Adrian is very kind and professional in his work. We enjoyed the afternoon tea at bar area close to the reception, and we were served by Peter, another hotel gem! We arrived around 23:00 hrs. (due to flight delays otherwise planned 20:00 hrs.). On arrival there was a receptionist called ”Vladimir” who checked us in & provided the room. When we went up to the room A/C did not work more than a few seconds, no telephone in the room to inform, so my husband went down (a long way) & informed him. He came to the room & tried & put it on & it worked again for few mts. while he was there, so he said it is working & left the room. But, it stopped again just after he left! My husband went down again & told him....what he has told my husband was he cant help & we have to sleep without A/C until next day until he find a technician during the day time!!! My husband told him it is very warm for us (coming from Denmark) we can’t sleep without A/C, that is why we paid for a A/C room! He said he called his boss & he told the same!!!! We were very shocked to hear, both the Receptionist & his boss have the same mentality when serving guests! Then my husband had told him we will bring our baggage down, stay at the Reception & call Police! Then he said, he found a room in another block, so he given direction to go to an entire different building.....we now walked to that place with our baggage alone much after midnight without any help from the Reception! There was a man sitting at the reception in that building, but he was mostly like a watchman! When we went there found that room A/C was dead, then found out remote control has not even have batteries, so we complained to that watchman! Then he came & check, he called Vladimir & informed A/C is dead, even no batteries in the Remote! Watchman was asked to come & get some batteries, when watchman went there no new batteries at the Reception, but he got some old batteries! Somehow A/C worked a bit, then stopped again after a few seconds….We informed Watchman again….this is around now 02:00 am, we haven’t had even our dinner! We told him you fix A/C issue & we have to go out & grab something to eat (luckily in that area there were lots of small take away/snacks places were available until late, so we grabbed Pizzas. When we returned, Watchman said the cables in the A/C were disconnected but now they were fixed! So, it worked finally but with lots of noises which we realized we had to live with them!!!! Then while we were sleeping we noticed so much of noise (talking, screaming, running up & down, music, doors opening & closing, etc.) on all the corridors throughout night, and then continued whole time until morning & beyond….then we found out the block where we were transferred was purely reserved for some 200+ teenagers looks like a high school group from Italy/Spain who behaved nothing uncontrollable children – Sadly, unprofessional reception couldn’t think the difference between 200+ teenagers & a descent couple who want to have a relaxed holiday…how on the earth he put us in the middle of 200+ teenagers!!!!
