The Gordon House Hotel, Colaba

Ok hotel, Breakfast was good. Rooms were ok but not very modern. Close to a very nice street and close to Gateway of India. Very friendly staff. Would for sure stay here again in the future.

I don’t have any complaints on the hotel. Everything’s nice and clean. I just felt like it was not a four-star hotel- maybe three.

I will start this by saying this hotel is amazing and I think anyone visiting Mumbai should stay here. I’m a backpacker from USA & took me a while to find a good hotel in Mumbai, since it was my first time visiting this amazing city. Every hotel had bad reviews or highly expensive. So I decided to pick this one and hired a taxi service, (which you could do on this website.) The hotel is a drive down south from the airport in Colaba. The location is perfect. It’s down the street from the famous Taj Mahal hotel so how could it get any better. A short walk from all the touristy spots. It’s perfect. The hotel felt very safe. There’s security that watches over you and the rooms are on the second floor. There’s a front desk and everyone there is kind and helpful. The room is very clean, no bugs, no dust, good ac, little candies and a perfect shower. Perfect pressure, perfect hot water. They have tea, coffee and unlimited water bottles. The breakfast is the best part. Don’t skip out on it! They have a lot of options from Indian to western & everything is made with care and love. The breakfast might be the best part :) idk who the chef is but he/she did a wonderful job. Okay, so no more searching and stressing! Book this hotel, it’s a winner!

Really enjoyed our stay, the room was spacious, very clean, smelled nice, the staff was also very polite.

Hotel was neat and clean and all required things were available. Plus location too good as so close to gateway of India.

This is a great hotel in a great location! You are within walking distance of all the best spots in Colaba and Fort. There are great restaurants nearby and it is a short taxi ride away from shor bazaar and Crawford market. Breakfast is included and there is an Asian influenced restaurant for lunch and dinner on the ground floor.

I stayed here thrice over 3 consecutive weekends. Service, location, cleanliness, excellent. Fantastic hotel in a wonderful location within the heart of Colaba. Big thank you to Santosh & Sushil for making my mumbai getaways enjoyable & safe. Will definitely be back someday. Pleasant & peaceful atmosphere. Rooms are simple yet elegant. Prices are affordable. No noticeable noise issues. Room service was extremely helpful with providing water bottles / laundry. Breakfast was great too.

Really comfortable stay for my 1 night in Mumbai. I needed some help from frontdesk during my stay to help me communicate in hindi to my uber driver, and they went above and beyond to assist me. Thank you very much Vijay and Santosh!

We had the most wonderful 3 days stay at The Gordon House Hotel ❤️Such an aesthetically designed hotel with warm and welcoming staff, the hotel is walkable to many attractions like The Gate way of India, Colaba Causeway, Leopold cafe , and Cafe Mondegar. Kala Ghoda, which is highly recommended for shopping is also walkable from the hotel. The hotel has a restaurant which offers wide spread menu that’s popular.Breakfast was excellent with many options to choose from.When we informed the hotel that we were checking out early morning they even packed our breakfast and sent it with us. Rooms were aesthetically designed, clean and spacious. On the whole one of the best places in South Mumbai for your stay. We will definitely be staying here on our next visit.
