Ibis Styles - Nairobi, Westlands

This is an excellent hotel for a short stopover in Nairobi. We arrived late at night and were heading off on safari early in the morning, so we were looking for a convenient and comfortable place to spend the night – and we were very happy with our choice. The hotel is well-located, and we received a warm welcome from very friendly and hospitable ladies at the reception. Everything was clean, tidy, and well-maintained. The room was cozy and had everything needed for a comfortable rest after a long flight. We had a good rest before starting our journey through Kenya. It’s an excellent option for a single night or even a longer stay. We highly recommend it!

The hotel's location is quite convenient, close to the airport expressway. Security is good; they scan your luggage upon entry, and you need to swipe your card to access the hallway before entering your room. The room is clean, and breakfast is plentiful. The room isn't very spacious, but it's fine for one person.

The room, though small, was fully equipped. It felt very secure with security checks at the entrance and exit, and access control on each floor. I stayed for two nights, and during my stay, the elevator broke down once, forcing me to climb the stairs to the 6th floor (the actual floor was the 8th). The elevator started working again halfway up. Other than that, everything else was good. Oh, and the room only had bath towels, no hand towels or toiletries. The shampoo and body wash were a 2-in-1, and there was no conditioner.
