This hotel was such a pleasant surprise for our trip! The room was clean and tidy, with complete amenities. The staff were responsive and efficient, making the entire experience fantastic. The night view was amazing – the tallest building really lives up to its reputation! Our room overlooked Nanjing, and the city was glowing golden; the view was truly stunning! Excellent value for money, I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm here!

The InterContinental Hotel is located in the Zifeng Tower, Nanjing's tallest building. The rooms are spacious, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer fantastic views, especially at night. The hotel's restaurant also has great views and a wide selection for breakfast. There are many restaurants in the Zifeng Tower mall, making dining convenient, and Drum Tower Park, with its beautiful scenery, is nearby.

Overall, a very satisfying 5-star hotel. The location, service, and view were all excellent. While the facilities are a bit dated, which is understandable, the view truly is incredible – you can even see the Yangtze River in the distance 🌉. Haha, it's really great, I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time.

The facilities are a bit old; you can tell they haven't been renovated in many years. The front desk staff were very friendly during both check-in and check-out. However, the service at the buffet was quite average. The location, though, is pretty good.

Whether I'm with family or friends, we always stay here when we visit Nanjing, and everyone gives it high praise. It's the kind of hotel older relatives would commend for its excellent food and comfortable accommodations. The hotel's location is superb, right next to a subway station, and there's ample parking (though the only minor drawback is the lack of EV charging stations in the underground parking). While the hotel isn't brand new, the facilities are well-maintained, and both the guest rooms and public areas are very clean. The service is what I want to praise the most. From check-in to breakfast, every staff member is incredibly friendly and welcoming, always greeting you with a smile. The hotel even calls ahead to ask about your estimated arrival time and any specific room requests. This whole process makes me feel like my stay as a guest is truly valued and taken seriously, with no drop in service quality despite high occupancy or a large number of guests. Highly recommended! I'll definitely be back next time!

The room was a bit dated. The butler service, however, was excellent; they promptly attended to all our needs. For the same price, I'd prefer a newer hotel for a more comfortable stay. It was quite hot during my stay, and the air conditioning in the room wasn't working. I called the front desk, but they said the AC was off throughout the entire hotel. The hotel breakfast was also a bit disappointing, and drinks cost extra.

It's been 8 years since I last stayed here. It's been too long since I've visited Nanjing, exactly 8 years. Everything feels a bit old-fashioned now. Plus, with the Jiangsu Super League final, various services couldn't keep up. Having stayed at so many InterContinentals and other five-star hotels, this is the first time I've experienced an executive floor without breakfast, having to go down and queue with other floors. I don't know why it wasn't open. Did all the staff take leave to go to the final, perhaps? I hope they'll have contingency plans in place for large events in the future. However, they did try to make amends by upgrading me to a larger suite and sending fruit and gifts.

Spending a weekend in Nanjing, I specifically chose this InterContinental due to its incredibly high floors. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the subway station, making it convenient to get to all the tourist attractions. The room was very clean, and thanks to the high floor, I had an unobstructed view of Jinling City. Service response was also quick; any issues were resolved promptly. The breakfast selection was quite rich, though it gets very crowded with long queues between 8 and 9 AM. Before 8 AM, it's fine. However, one minor issue was that the TV in the room was a bit tricky to use. Just pressing the remote didn't work; you had to press a button on the back of the TV and then select the mode. There was no instruction in the room, so I was a bit confused the first time… Although a staff member came to help, I'd suggest putting a hint card or something similar in the room.

Can you believe the air conditioning at the InterContinental Hotel wasn't working? After contacting the front desk, I was informed that the entire hotel's AC system was undergoing maintenance and couldn't be turned on. Shouldn't guests be notified in advance if the air conditioning isn't functional? If I had known, I definitely wouldn't have stayed here. It was too late to bother switching hotels in the middle of the night, so they sent up a fan to tide us over for the evening. On top of that, the TV wasn't working either. It was even worse than a Hanting Hotel; hands down the worst hotel experience I've had in years.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, offering easy access to anywhere you want to go, whether by subway, bus, or Didi (ride-sharing). The service consistently meets InterContinental's high standards. From the moment I walked in, the concierge immediately helped with my luggage, and check-in was incredibly smooth. Every staff member was enthusiastic and smiling, making the experience pleasant and welcoming. Since it was a family member's birthday, the hotel even prepared a card and a little surprise, which truly touched me. I'm very grateful! Next time I'm in Jinling (Nanjing), this will definitely be my first choice.

First, let's talk about the exterior. There was water all over the parking area in front of the lobby entrance, almost as if it were deliberately placed there. Different people might see it differently, but I found it quite unpleasant. Since I arrived in the morning and it was still early, I went to the restroom on the first floor when I checked my luggage at the lobby. The floor under the sink and around the toilet was also covered in water. I even thought someone had urinated outside the toilet at first, but when I washed my hands, I realized it was just water everywhere. I wondered why there was so much water, and then the cleaning staff from the men's restroom opposite came in and started mopping the floor directly. That really opened my eyes. The hotel's location and views are great, and transportation is convenient. The housekeeping staff was excellent, which was the only good impression I had. They promptly removed the trash I left outside the door. I had high hopes for breakfast and even woke up early to go to the 45th floor for the view and a meal. However, due to some shift allocation issue, three servers were arguing right behind my seat until I had to say, 'Could you please take your discussion elsewhere? It's very noisy.' Later, two servers left, and I was at seat C1. The server in the area to my left was cleaning up, throwing cutlery into the storage bin with loud, forceful, and noisy clanging sounds. The entire breakfast experience was very poor. The hotel's hardware itself isn't particularly different from others. What we look for in a hotel stay is comfort, at least not to be upset or affected. This really angered me. Don't star-rated hotels even train their staff anymore?! InterContinental welcome fruit: self-service, very good.
