Super 8 by Wyndham Natchez

I am going to do a pros and cons for what matters to me Pros Super clean, all re modeled hotel, AC kicked butt, room well lite, beds were great, nice TV, no carpet in the room, view of the bridges, soap and shampoo dispensers Cons loud, my wife checked to see if the window was open!, I believe the other rooms (not facing the bridges and the highway) would be quieter, the frig in our room made a stupid whirling noise (fixed that by unplugging it) Would I stay here again? Absolutely!

We stopped here on our travels between Memphis and New Orleans, The hotel was easy accessible with friendly welcoming staff. The rooms were clean with comfy beds and we had lovely views of the Mississippi. The breakfast staff were lovely, some people visiting may think the breakfast is basic but for the price; there was choices and we found it a lovely way to start our day. The hotel is a short drive from downtown Natchez which is a sleepy retirement town and places do close early

Absolutely great place to stay. We had a view of the bridge over the Mississippi River. Our room was clean and comfortable. Everything about the room was great. Tatyana at the front desk was friendly, professional and efficient. Great employee!

This hotel was remodeled from a Super 8 or something & re-opened in early 2026. It has lovely interiors & design, a very good staff, a nice wide vanity in the bathrooms, & great rates. But do NOT book it if staying more than one night. Because the rooms have no closets, no drawers, & troubled air conditioning. Sunday morning 3/22/26 I heard 4 different groups complaining as they checked out. There is a “niche” for a closet that is the width of a luggage rack. But the niche has no shelf, rod, or hangers. I was told they are on order & overdue & it’s a logistical problem. That makes sense but it’s insane. I had booked 5 nights there for events & needed a way to keep clothes unwrinkled, so they gave me one of those big luggage movers from which to hang clothes. It was ridiculous. Really? They can’t find a local company to install closet rods instead of waiting on the 3rd party to ship them? They’re especially important since all the lovely furnishings have NO Drawers, not one! Unbelievable.

We enjoyed our visit tremendously, staff was very courteous and friendly. Rooms are spacious and very clean. I will stay here every time that we come to Natchez.

Perfect location for my planned activities. The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are great and the place will be spectacular once all the amenities are in place from the newly renovated facility.

Wonderful Accommodations!!!! Very Clean, staff extremely hospitable and helpful, great location, safe area and common areas accessible and tidy!!

Really impressed with this spot. We needed a room to watch our son’s band performance and I was hesitant not going with a chain that we’re accustomed to, but The Bridges exceeded expectations. Clean, friendly staff, great proximity to the convention center, and quiet.

Probably wouldn’t have chosen the hotel based on the previous reviews, but this hotel is excellent! Newly renovated (sorry didn’t take photos), but the rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable. Lovely modern bathrooms, nice toiletries. The staff were lovely too, nothing was too much trouble. Ask for a room with a view of the bridge and river.
