Aliz Hotel Times Square

This is by far the most satisfying hotel I've stayed at in New York. - The soundproofing is excellent. - There's enough space to open two 30-inch suitcases (I had a twin bed room). - It's very close to Times Square. - A microwave is available for use. - They offer a welcome drink. - I was told the deposit would take up to 30 days to be refunded, but it came back very quickly.

This hotel boasts a fantastic location, super close to Times Square, with a Muji store nearby, and the subway station just a few minutes' walk away. What really stands out is that the hotel facilities are quite new, the soundproofing is good, and the shower in the bathroom is really comfortable.

The room was tiny, with two double beds, and there wasn't enough space for three of us to move around comfortably at the same time. I arrived at 1 PM, but was told check-in wasn't until 3 PM. They offered early check-in for an extra fee, implying rooms were available but they just wanted to charge more. Given my tight schedule, I paid the extra fee to check in immediately. The area around the hotel was quite messy and dirty, with homeless people often lying on the streets. Even though it was a quad room and there were only three of us, they only provided two bottles of water daily. When I called the front desk to ask for two more, they refused.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the subway station which makes getting around super convenient. The stay would be even better if the bathroom provided slippers, shower caps, and tooth cups.
