This hotel exudes charm and the location is probably the best of all of the hotels available in Newport. You can Walk to almost anywhere you’d like to go in Newport from the hotel. The hotel is over 100 years old so it has some quirks like very small bathrooms. The first room we were given was unsatisfactory, after a second trip to the front desk to complain, we were upgraded to a more satisfactory room. This seems like a standard operating procedure for most hotels these days. I guess it’s a game you have to play in order to get a decent room. But one should not have to do that when they’re Paying premium prices. The in-room amenities were Lacking a bit. We had a great mini vacation at the Newport Harbor Island Resort last weekend! The experience exceeded our expectations by far. From the phone conversation for the reservation, to check-in & check-out, we were greeted with professional and courteous service. The accommodations, amenities and grounds were perfect! I would highly recommend this hotel/resort. Location, location, location!

The location of the hotel is OK, next to the ferry terminal, the view outside the hotel is good, breakfast at your own expense, very general, the lobby is bar-style, drinking mainly, not suitable for parents, suitable for people who like to drink a bar, the hotel does not provide drinking water, We rushed to the nearby supermarket to buy drinking water, and deducted a deposit of 250 knives a day. It should be convenient for those who like to drink. We booked a sea view room, but it is still different from the sea view room on Ctrip. The slanting window edge, crowded in the corner of the window to see the seascape, there is no space for two people to sit, and in the Ctrip platform reservation, before leaving the store to pay a 35 knives, saying that the third-party platform did not count Hotel accommodation costs, this little ninety-nine makes people feel very bad! ! For the first time in my life, I encountered this weird situation! Friendly reminder: In fact, there are similar and more square view hotels on both sides of the hotel! After visiting a circle, I found out that I regret it!

Beautiful waterfront cottage, breathtaking views and treated like royalty by everyone we encountered. No lunch reservations on arrival when they’re fully booked? It’s delivered piping hot precisely when you requested. Want to relax on their private beach? A friendly attendant sets up your covered lounge chairs, side table, umbrella and towels exactly where you want them, and brings you water and frozen grapes. Want to slip into town for a bite or shopping? Hop on the launch at their marina, and the captain will point out key sites along the way. Lunch and breakfast offerings were interesting and well-presented. If you can, make time for the included afternoon tea with freshly baked treats and tea sandwiches served in a cozy wood-panelled room off the lobby. Thoughtful amenities in the cottage included a dimmable light, umbrellas, heated bathroom floor, a deep soaking tub, a charging station, a small refrigerator stocked with free water (plus a split of champagne, wine, etc. for purchase), etc., and there’s turndown service with chocolates. Storage for clothing was rather limited if you’re planning an extended stay, but no problem for us. We come to Newport often so spent virtually all our time at Castle Hill. Loved every minute and will return.

I scored 100 points for the experience of staying at this hotel. It's so beautiful, every corner of the hotel is beautiful, and I took a lot of beautiful photos. The hotel reflects the careful design and maintenance of the landlord's owner everywhere. It is my Dream House! I look forward to staying again for Christmas in the future. The hotel's catering and other services are also first-class, and the staff are polite and warm. My sunglasses were accidentally left in the living room on the first floor when taking pictures. The hotel staff also found it and sent it to me. I really recommend staying at this hotel in Newport.
