The five-star rating is for Zongzi (a staff member). They arranged for my luggage to arrive early, and the person who took over for me was excellent.
On the downside, when checking out, there were a lot of staff members asking for good reviews. If a service is good, I'll naturally give one. For example, last time, they charged me 12 for the mini-bar and still asked for a good review, which I really didn't want to give.
Otherwise, this time, I really felt like giving a 2-3 star rating. Some of the front desk staff I encountered this time were a bit lacking. It feels like the more I come, the less attention I receive. This time, I didn't get a room upgrade, though they did give me some fruit. If there's an empty room, they should definitely upgrade to improve the experience. For breakfast, if one portion is provided, it would be great if another could be offered for VIPs. None of the four of us went to eat.
1. There was an issue with the pillows in the room. I was too lazy to complain about it, but you can see in the video, there were hard lumps – I don't know what they were. If it weren't for Zongzi's excellent service, I would honestly consider giving a 2-3 star review. The Vianna next door is half your price, and their service was better when I went. But maybe it just depends on the person.
2. I overheard a department responsible for external car services – I don't know what it's called. This was a particularly unsatisfactory issue. They were complaining about a guest who parked to go upstairs to get something, saying that just because a guest spends a hundred yuan, they act like they're superior. To complain about guests when you're in the service industry – that's really not the standard you should have. Everyone has urgent matters sometimes. To speak ill of guests behind their backs, especially when you're supposed to be the best hotel in Jilin, is unacceptable. What's wrong with spending money? The hotel rooms aren't even worth this price; what you're paying for is the service. And then you talk behind our backs and nitpick.

Subject: An Exceptional Stay Defined by Remarkable Service and Comfort
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. The level of service here is world-class, particularly the housekeeping team. When I found my room a bit too warm and realized the windows were fixed, the staff proactively provided a fan to improve airflow. This, combined with the in-room humidifier, ensured a perfect night’s sleep. The room amenities were also incredibly thoughtful and comprehensive.
The hotel facilities are a major highlight. The hot springs offer an impressive variety of both indoor and outdoor pools. Furthermore, the logistics are handled seamlessly; the shuttle service to and from the High-Speed Rail station was very convenient. For those visiting Changbaishan, the hotel offers a direct bus service (provided you have a ticket), which made my trip stress-free.
I want to extend my sincere gratitude to Da Ling and Yin Ling. Their attentive care and constant check-ins throughout my stay made me feel truly valued and were the highlights of my trip.
The dining experience was equally impressive. The breakfast buffet featured a wide variety of delicious options, and the on-site restaurant served a diverse menu where every dish was flavorful.
Overall, I am thoroughly impressed. I will certainly choose to stay here again on my next visit.

After much comparison, I still chose the Huayi Kailuos Hotel, and my experience after checking in told me that my choice was indeed correct. The hotel staff, from the customer service manager down to the cleaning aunties, were all enthusiastic, attentive, and warm-hearted. The customer service manager personally handled everything from pre-arrival communication to a welcoming check-in and a farewell upon departure, setting a silent example for the staff. It's precisely because of excellent leadership that there is such an outstanding team.
The cleaning auntie promptly responded to our unintentional actions and tirelessly cleaned up, which deeply touched us. Also, the front desk staff, porters, and other employees treated guests like family, truly making us feel right at home. Furthermore, the hotel's facilities and hygiene also met our expectations. The next time we come to Yanji, we will definitely stay at this hotel again.

I was really impressed by the hotel's service during this stay! As soon as we arrived in the lobby, a staff member immediately came over to help with our luggage. The front desk attendant was incredibly patient and thorough during check-in; she not only processed everything quickly but also proactively asked about our preferences and thoughtfully upgraded us to a room with a better view. The hotel rooms even have Type-C outlets. During our stay, when the mini-fridge in our room ran out of drinks, I called housekeeping, and they refilled it in less than ten minutes. Such warm and thoughtful service truly makes you feel comfortable. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip!

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of Changchun, making it super convenient for shopping and dining. Even during the National Day holiday, the price for such a great hotel was incredibly reasonable. They upgraded our room and included breakfast, which was definitely up to five-star standards – rich and with a fantastic dining environment, perfect for discerning guests. The only downside is the lack of an underground parking lot; the surface parking can get a bit overwhelmed during holidays. But if you're not driving or visiting during a regular time, this hotel is absolutely fantastic!

I booked quite late before the new year, and on Trip.com, I could only book three nights separately: two nights in a king room and one night in a twin room. I tried to sort it out with Trip.com before but wasn't successful. To my surprise, two days later, Hotel Manager Zhang Pengyu called me proactively to say that a twin room had become available and asked if I'd like to switch all my bookings to twin rooms. That was incredibly thoughtful, saving me the hassle of packing and changing rooms. The room was quite spacious, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the heating was very effective. The cleanliness was also good. It's worth noting that the hotel's location is excellent, very close to Wanda Town and extremely close to the ski resort. The ski service center is just a short walk away, which is super convenient. There's a free shuttle bus that circulates within the resort every half an hour, and it also provides pick-up and drop-off for activities like rafting, which is really handy. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, but it did get a bit crowded during peak hours. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive. The service from 7-Up at the Executive Lounge and Manager Lü at the fitness center was outstanding; they were very responsive and incredibly thorough. The complimentary ski passes, hot springs, water activities, and entertainment snow tickets provided by the hotel were also excellent value.

Service: The butler-style service was excellent. Our butlers, Shanqiu and Songyue, were always available to answer questions and replied quickly. They were very prompt in resolving issues and proactively asked about our itinerary to remind us and help book shuttle buses for our outings.
Facilities: While the hotel's hardware might not be the absolute newest, unlike some of the smart hotels under HUAZHU, the rooms are spacious, and all basic amenities meet travel needs. The housekeeping was very clean. The cleaning lady was incredibly warm and humorous and met our requests very promptly.
Regarding our package benefits: Our hotel package was essentially all-inclusive, except for Changbai Mountain entrance tickets, main meals, and other personalized expenses. The hotel has a cute pet park where you can feed deer and a snow park for kids to play in. Our package also included skiing and snowmobiling experiences. The facilities at Heping Ski Resort were quite good, and it wasn't crowded when we went. We hired a coach for our child, while the adults just took photos. We even got to play in the powder snow on the snowmobiles, which felt quite worthwhile.
Dining: For our main meals, we primarily ate at the Chinese restaurant on the second floor and the buffet restaurant on the first floor. Here, the service was definitely better than the food. The ingredients were clean and fresh, and taste is subjective. The prices were typical for a hotel of this caliber. The Chinese restaurant specializes in fresh ingredients from Northeast China and Changbai Mountain, offering ginseng and venison. Coming from a region with bolder flavors, we found it a bit too bland. The first-floor buffet offered Brazilian BBQ and small hot pots, both with normal flavors, and you could certainly eat your fill.
Hot Springs: This truly deserves praise! Crown members could simply go downstairs in their bathrobes and swimsuits to enjoy the hot springs an unlimited number of times. Our child, who stayed for three days, went three times. It felt amazing to soak after hiking and skiing. The service inside the hot springs was also great; they provided free anti-slip socks for children and waterproof phone pouches. There were also snacks available at reasonable prices.
In summary, the service is commendable. For those who want a worry-free and excellent experience, I highly recommend it!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! As soon as we entered the lobby, we were captivated by the exquisite design. Our room had a large window offering stunning city night views, and the personalized butler service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. A huge thank you to Luna for sending the check-in guide in advance and arranging a high-floor room with a great view. She also checked in daily to see if we needed any amenities replenished. From the small details to the overall experience, you could feel the hotel's dedication everywhere. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!

The hotel's location is a bit remote, but that's typical for hot spring hotels. I communicated with the front desk a few days before arrival. I sent them my high-speed rail information and scheduled a pickup at Changbaishan Station. So, despite the somewhat remote location, the hotel's shuttle service was excellent.
The front desk staff were also very good. When I arrived, I had intended for the front desk to book a rafting trip for me, but it turned out the hotel's contract with the rafting company had expired, so we had to sort it out ourselves. (I had inquired with the front desk a week prior, and they said it could be arranged there. I was surprised to find upon arrival that the hotel had just canceled its contract with the rafting company.) I want to be clear, I'm not blaming the hotel; it was just bad luck. I do hope the hotel can continue to assist out-of-towners in the future, as foreigners often face difficulties booking things in China without local phone numbers.
I wanted to see Tianchi Lake, but it was closed all three days I was there. Rafting was also out. So, I ended up staying at the hotel. However, I enjoyed several hot spring baths, visited the gym, and the hotel can also arrange skiing for you. We didn't go skiing because we had elderly people with us. So, staying at the hotel wasn't bad at all.
There are only two restaurants: a Korean restaurant and the hotel's buffet. The food was good, but the dinner shrimp seemed to be limited. I arrived at 7:30 PM and only got two shrimp, while my dad got five. Then there were none left, and the restaurant staff didn't replenish them.
The room was very large and clean. I particularly liked the rooms at this hotel. The hot spring has both indoor and outdoor sections. I might return in the future.

AAilvyoude11Our stay at the Wanda Jin Changbaishan Suites was by far the most comfortable and pleasant part of our Changbaishan trip. The room was spacious, bright, and spotless, with excellent amenities. The soundproofing and overall comfort exceeded our expectations, making it a truly peaceful stay for the whole family. Although the room showed a bit of age, it was meticulously maintained. The two-bedroom, one-living room layout was perfect; we could watch the Spring Festival Gala together without disturbing those who wanted to sleep.
But what I want to praise the most is our butler, Kitty. From the thoughtful reminders before check-in to every detail during our stay, she was incredibly attentive and heartwarming. She always responded to our needs immediately, patiently and gently. She also proactively helped us monitor the weather and recommended sightseeing routes, truly making us feel at home. Her professionalism, meticulousness, and warmth made our entire trip feel secure and grounded. She especially made sure to ask us daily if we needed any toiletries replenished or how the room temperature was. It was a truly thoughtful touch. She also very professionally and proactively informed us about all the hotel's benefits.

YYangfanxiaoyaoThis ski trip was fantastic! The hotel's location is perfect, right on the slopes, making it incredibly convenient. The room was clean and tidy, with great natural light and views. Lucia provided warm and attentive service. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and it offers excellent value for money. It was so comfortable to relax after skiing. The overall atmosphere was cozy and pleasant, making it ideal for a ski vacation. Highly recommend it to all fellow skiers!
GGuest UserThe hotel service was absolutely wonderful! When we checked in, the front desk saw we were cold and immediately offered us warm bottled water. Our room was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. When we went to the hot springs, the staff member managing the area was so enthusiastic. She constantly reminded us to be safe and even specially guided us to try the outdoor hot springs, which was a 100% amazing experience. Despite the cold weather, we truly felt the warmth and hospitality from the hot springs staff. She even helped us take a group photo – fantastic! 👍 Breakfast was also excellent, with delicious food and even frozen sliced pears. Next time I come to Changbai Mountain, this hotel will definitely be my first choice.

AAshleyxuxiaojieThe hotel doesn't have a standalone hot spring, only a massage pool that's both indoor and outdoor. The outdoor setting is beautiful, but it's quite chilly. The hotel offers direct access to the ski slopes, which is very convenient. It's a good choice for ski enthusiasts. However, if you're traveling with children, you might prefer the Hyatt as it's closer to the food street. Both hotels are owned by the same company, but they have different styles. The Park Hyatt has a Chinese-inspired decor, while the Westin hotels are older, some more than ten years old. I haven't been to the north side, so I don't know what it's like there.
WWoshicaomaoThe room is absolutely beautiful, perfect for photos – every shot looks like it belongs in a magazine! Our butler, Coco, deserves a super five-star rating. She was incredibly responsive, answering all our questions quickly and thoughtfully, and took such good care of us. Having her really saved us a lot of hassle on this trip. 👍👍
I also want to praise the hotel's breakfast. The fact that they offer takeaway boxes and bags is so thoughtful! Sometimes my child sleeps in a bit longer, so being able to pack breakfast and take it back to the room is a huge convenience!
The perks were great too, including free skiing, evening bonfire parties, a float parade, and the interesting iron fireworks show. 👍
On the downside, the soundproofing in the villa area isn't the best, that's true. Also, for such an expensive hotel, I honestly suggest they provide higher-end hairdryers. 😂😂
