This hotel is located right by the Songhua River, not far from Jilin Station, making it very convenient for getting around. The river view is unbeatable, especially at night when the neon lights make it even more beautiful. The room was spacious and lovely, and the bedding was clean and comfortable. The best part, though, was the service – every staff member was warm and attentive. Highly recommend!

The room was great! Even though the hotel has been open for a while, it's very well-maintained. The butler service was also fantastic; the young lady was super responsive and helpful with every request. After hiking Changbai Mountain all day, coming back to soak in the hot spring at night was incredibly relaxing. Five stars all around!

The hotel experience was great. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was superb, offering Chinese, Western, and Korean options. All the staff were very polite, and the VIP manager was exceptionally attentive, even recommending a list of local delicacies upon check-in. It's definitely worth another visit. It's also super convenient, just a short walk across a small road to the floating market, and the popular 'bullet screen' wall is only a ten-minute walk away.
The hotel's location is very convenient for both the airport and the high-speed train station, with ride-shares costing around 10 yuan. While ride-hailing apps were a bit tricky, there were plenty of local taxis, which made getting around quite easy.
The room came with a smart voice assistant, but it wasn't very smart at all; it couldn't even control the lights. The most frustrating thing was the motion-sensor mirror in the bathroom – it would light up every time you entered. Since the bathroom wall facing the bed was frosted glass, it was easy to be woken up by the light at night. Also, the light under the corridor bench in the room was overly sensitive, turning on with just a slight turn in bed.
The TV in the room had a section introducing nearby attractions, but it only showed photos! And just one photo! For a luxury hotel, this is quite disappointing.
Now, regarding cleanliness: our child brought their own pillow, so we didn't need the two pillows on the bed. We usually place extra pillows on a chair or tuck them into our open luggage. However, after housekeeping cleaned the room, we found the extra pillows shoved into a corner of the room, directly on the floor.
Breakfast was a highlight, offering many local specialties, and you could pretty much sample all the延边 (Yanbian) snacks.

Excellent value for a five-star hotel, and Lena was incredibly professional! I compared several five-star hotels in Changchun, and this one had the best location and price. Lena's service was even better than many high-end establishments. She proactively helped me with my luggage to the elevator and gave me useful tips during check-in – so thoughtful. The room had a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom, and the shower had great water pressure. The cleanliness was impeccable, not a single speck of dust. Definitely worth every penny.

The hotel experience far exceeded my expectations. The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, making travel incredibly convenient. The room was clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding. It was also well-lit and soundproof, ensuring a very pleasant stay. The facilities were complete and well-maintained, with stable hot water supply and strong Wi-Fi signal, showing attention to detail. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, efficiently handling check-in and thoughtfully recommending local dining spots and sightseeing routes. The breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh and delicious options, providing great value for money. Overall, the service was professional and meticulous, from check-in to check-out, the entire experience was seamless and highly satisfying. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip.

Choosing the Hyatt for my May Day holiday was definitely the right decision! The hotel's location is fantastic; it's right on the commercial street and close to all the entertainment, probably the best location in the whole area. Breakfast was also superb; I stayed for two days and was pleasantly surprised every morning. The lovely lady at the front desk even helped us get a room upgrade, so the room was extra large and spacious. All the amenities and benefits were great. I'll definitely be back!

The hotel's location is a bit remote, but that's typical for hot spring hotels. I communicated with the front desk a few days before arrival. I sent them my high-speed rail information and scheduled a pickup at Changbaishan Station. So, despite the somewhat remote location, the hotel's shuttle service was excellent.
The front desk staff were also very good. When I arrived, I had intended for the front desk to book a rafting trip for me, but it turned out the hotel's contract with the rafting company had expired, so we had to sort it out ourselves. (I had inquired with the front desk a week prior, and they said it could be arranged there. I was surprised to find upon arrival that the hotel had just canceled its contract with the rafting company.) I want to be clear, I'm not blaming the hotel; it was just bad luck. I do hope the hotel can continue to assist out-of-towners in the future, as foreigners often face difficulties booking things in China without local phone numbers.
I wanted to see Tianchi Lake, but it was closed all three days I was there. Rafting was also out. So, I ended up staying at the hotel. However, I enjoyed several hot spring baths, visited the gym, and the hotel can also arrange skiing for you. We didn't go skiing because we had elderly people with us. So, staying at the hotel wasn't bad at all.
There are only two restaurants: a Korean restaurant and the hotel's buffet. The food was good, but the dinner shrimp seemed to be limited. I arrived at 7:30 PM and only got two shrimp, while my dad got five. Then there were none left, and the restaurant staff didn't replenish them.
The room was very large and clean. I particularly liked the rooms at this hotel. The hot spring has both indoor and outdoor sections. I might return in the future.

The environment is fantastic, very clean, and well-equipped. The hot spring experience was also incredibly relaxing. Breakfast offered a great variety, but what truly stood out was the service. Right after check-in, a butler was assigned to us, ready to answer any questions and provide helpful reminders. There was even a dedicated shuttle service for the hot springs. Any issues we encountered were promptly resolved by the staff – their service-mindedness was truly impressive! The hotel's exclusive access to Changbai Mountain was very convenient. Overall, it was an excellent stay, and I'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserThe room is spacious with a clear separation between the independent living room and bedroom, plus an open-plan kitchen with a fridge. It felt like staying in a cozy little home in the mountains, perfect for a family trip. The entire room has excellent natural light and beautiful views.
The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was fresh and soft, and the temperature was very comfortable – not stuffy or dry, even in spring and summer. The facilities were complete. Our housekeeper, Haha, provided thoughtful and detailed service, responding quickly to any requests and paying attention to every small detail.
The hotel is located in the heart of the resort area, within walking distance to the commercial street, hot springs, and various attractions, making it ideal for families.
Visiting in spring and summer avoids the winter crowds, and the mountains are lush and green. Staying in the Jinhua Suite allows you to be close to nature while enjoying the relaxed feeling of being at home. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next Changbai Mountain vacation. I genuinely recommend it to families!

GGuest UserThe hotel service was excellent, with a dedicated butler assigned to us. The breakfast was very rich and satisfying, and they even offered breakfast for two adults and two children for one room, along with a complimentary afternoon tea. We had a slight delay checking in on the first day, only getting our room after 3 PM because it wasn't ready. However, the butler proactively upgraded our room the next day, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, we were very satisfied with the service.
GGuest UserRight at check-in, we were given two warm bottles of Changbai Mountain mineral water. The room was standard, and the heating was very strong – we had to sleep with the window open. The hot springs, however, are in a separate building, and you have to walk through the lobby on the ground floor to get to them. The lobby and the breakfast area on the second floor weren't warm enough, making it easy to catch a cold after coming back from the hot springs. The hot springs themselves are communal and only have a few small pools; it's not really worth going unless you just want a quick taste of Changbai Mountain's hot springs.
LLuciano BendiGreat experience at Swissôtel Changbaishan!
The service was incredible from start to finish. We were able to check into our room immediately upon arrival at 11am and were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade — from a standard queen room to a spacious suite with a separate living area, kitchen, and two bathrooms. A fantastic way to start the trip.
The staff were extremely friendly and responsive, offering almost round-the-clock support via WeChat with very quick replies. The built-in translation feature made communication smooth and easy, which we really appreciated.
The location itself is beautiful. The European-inspired architecture and charming walking street genuinely make it feel like a small Swiss mountain town — aside from the many Chinese restaurants, of course. It’s a very scenic and relaxing environment.
Breakfast offered a great variety of options, including a standard Western/English breakfast along with plenty of Chinese and ASEAN dishes. Something for everyone.
The ski center and slopes are just a short walk away, which is very convenient. Do note that this area mainly offers green and blue runs, the mountain is relatively small and doesn’t have more challenging slopes. It’s perfect for beginners or those looking to practice, but advanced skiers may find it limited.
We arrived toward the end of the season, so the snow was starting to melt. However, the slopes were still very well maintained, smooth and surprisingly free of icy patches.
Ski rentals are available at the ski center. Basic skis and equipment are included free of charge, while gloves and goggles can be rented for a small fee.
After skiing, we visited the spa at Club Med, which was included in the room rate. The facility was surprisingly large, featuring outdoor hot springs (onsen-style pools), saunas, steam rooms, and massage services, the perfect way to unwind after a day on the slopes.
Overall, a very enjoyable stay and a great destination for a relaxed ski getaway.

GGuest UserMy experience at Shangri-La Changchun was absolutely perfect. The hotel is located in the city center, making transportation convenient and getting around a breeze. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with excellent soundproofing, ensuring a good night's sleep even in a roadside room. The service details were impeccable; the front desk staff, especially a young lady, was warm and attentive, even offering complimentary breakfast for my child. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. Check-in was efficient and swift, with a professional and friendly attitude, and they were always ready to assist. The gym and heated pool facilities are well-equipped, and I'd love to try them out next time. This will definitely be my first choice when I visit Changchun again.
WWangchunfeng2023Stepping into the hotel room, I immediately noticed a plum vase in the entryway. It bore a striking resemblance to the Liao and Jin Dynasty plum vases exhibited at the Shanghai Museum. A quick search confirmed it was indeed a replica of a Cizhou ware vase from the Jin Dynasty, a thoughtful tribute by the designer to the ancient civilizations of this land. And these cultural details weren't just limited to this one spot – they truly impressed me.
The surrounding environment was equally beautiful. Walking along the gentle slopes dotted with daisies was incredibly refreshing. The service and breakfast were also noteworthy. This is definitely a hotel I'd be happy to stay at again.

SSaur1kThe hotel's location is excellent, right in the center of the resort. The back door leads directly to the cable car, and it's just a few minutes' walk to the commercial street. The hotel environment is good, and the service is great; anything you need is quickly delivered to your room. The only downside is the lack of entertainment facilities for kids, apart from a small soft play area. Overall, if you visit during a holiday when it's very crowded, be prepared for long queues for the resort's attractions. If you want to play, make sure to arrive early to line up. The scenery of Changbai Mountain is stunning. As someone from Jilin province, seeing the main peak of Changbai Mountain was quite breathtaking. I recommend driving along the G331 Changbai Mountain scenic road towards Erdaobaihe; there's a viewpoint that offers an even more spectacular view of the main peak.
