The hot springs were open for a long time and I was able to enjoy them enough. I was happy that the temperature was relatively high. The room was a rare outer corridor ＆ open door, which was uncomfortable at first, but I got used to it. The room is very small and the layout is more like a nursing care facility than a hotel. The lighting was dazzling and my eyes were tired. I think it would have been nice if it could be dimmed or light bulb color.

Location about 2 minutes walk from Mandai Guchi, Niigata Station. There is a convenience store on the 1 floor. I think it is a hotel with a history, but it seems to have been completely renovated recently, and it is picca to the corner 々. Very comfortable. There is a plane parking lot next to the three-dimensional parking lot, and two wheels are put into the picture. It is half underground, so it sleeps. The room is a railway view. This is a pleasure for the vehicle-based Tetsu.Niigata Station is a transitional period in which the conventional platform is divided into ground and elevated, so it seems to be an interesting scenery. There is a large bath though it is not taken. I took a morning bath, but there were few people and comfortable. Breakfast is suspension of buffet form and is provided in Bento form. It is 1300 yen later, but it seems to be quite suitable for the price. If it is poor, it is better than the buffet? It was balanced and healthy, and the material and taste were not bad. Close to downtown and not expensive. Very recommended.

On the first Friday of September, after visiting Yahiko Shrine, I stayed with my wife for one night. The appearance is a seasoned thing that smells of the Showa era. At the same time as arrival, the guidance staff appeared from the entrance. I was invited by the staff to check in at the front desk. The interior has been beautifully renovated. After listening to the explanation of meals, etc., I went to the guest room on the 3rd floor. The room, which is thought to have been originally a Japanese-style room, is a twin bed room with wooden flooring. It is a style where you take off your shoes at the entrance and spend your time barefoot. It looks like it has been refurbished, but it is the cheapest room among the twin rooms, so the texture is reasonable. The special thing is the hot springs. Both the indoor and outdoor baths have a faint sulfur scent and are so soft that you will want to stay in them forever. There is no water bath, but there is a compact sauna, and since it was a weekday, I was able to use it almost to myself. This sauna can also be used during the morning bath, so after working up a sweat, lying down on the bench next to the open-air bath and looking up at the clear morning sky, I felt that my body and mind were cleansed. For dinner, a course meal is served at the restaurant on the 2nd floor, and for breakfast, a buffet is served at the lobby lounge on the 1st floor. I was satisfied with both quality and quantity, and it was very delicious because it was devised to incorporate local ingredients and local cuisine. As expected, there is only rice, and the deliciousness of white rice is exceptional. There was a little trouble at dinner, but when I checked out the next morning, the proprietress gave me a polite apology, and I felt once again that the staff was well taken care of. It was a hot spring town in a mountain village with nothing around, so I was able to enjoy the way I was supposed to spend my time at the inn. Thank you very much for your help.

This is a revisit of Ku 々. This bedrock bath is my first experience. It's near the entrance, but first wash your body in the large communal bath in the back of the inn. So change into Samue and move near the entrance again. It was nice to sweat a lot in the bedrock bath, but I went to the large communal bath in the back while wearing a soaked samue. The inside of the building was quite cold, probably because of ventilation for corona measures, and the body was cold to the core with a soaked samue. It would be nice to have a space where you can change clothes near the bedrock bath, but there is only a paid private bath. Although it is a large communal bath, the indoor bath does not seem to be a hot spring. There is a sauna, but there is no cold bath. There is a sleeping space, but there is a sign that says ”cleaning” throughout your stay, and hot water is never filled. Supper is reasonable. The sashimi was delicious. Rice too. Breakfast has coffee, but no juice or milk. The room is large. There is no cold water pot, so you have to secure some water at night. The most impressive thing was the bedrock bath.

It's conveniently located right in front of the station. I had a comfortable time. When I chose the plan that included breakfast, it was a very varied buffet style meal, and I was able to enjoy two types of Koshihikari rice from Niigata with various side dishes. My family and travelled to Niigata at the end of April 2023 and had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Okura Niigata. Prior to the trip, I had reached out to them via email to inquire about coordinating a van + driver for us (6 of us) so that we could go visit some sake breweries and to make dinner reservations for us at a nearby restaurant. The concierge team was amazing and booked a large van (jumbo taxi) and driver for the day. they also ensured that the van could accommodate a folding wheelchair for one group member that needed it. The van and driver arrived on time and was quite reasonably priced. Great experience that was made possible by the hotel team! Upon return to the hotel, we realized we had left some items on the van - the hotel called the taxi company and coordinated the return of our items. Beyond these experiences, the hotel itself is a bit older but rooms are comfortable and fairly spacious for a hotel room in Japan. Location is great and the breakfast buffet was one of the better ones we had on this trip. If I should ever travel back to Niigata, I will most definitely be staying here. The hotel and team won my business by going above and beyond...even for Japan standards of customer service! Domo arigatogozaima****a!!!

This location is unbeatable It takes about 25 minutes on the first bus from the airport to Niigata Station. The hotel is right next to the station and is easy to find. Convenience stores and restaurants are nearby and it's very convenient to walk! It’s also very close to shopping malls and supermarkets on foot. The hotel room itself was priced at this price. When I arrived, I was still surprised that it was so spacious. The bedside seat and table design are very convenient and comfortable
