An exceptional stay experience! I can't stand the beauty of the mountains, so my family came to the mountains to stay for one night, and the transportation is convenient. The environment here is beautiful and the building is very stylish. Children have a great time playing in the park. The beautiful and kind proprietress helped us with detailed play strategies, and took no trouble in replying. In the end, she also upgraded the sky bed room for free. The bed and quilt are very comfortable and warm, the layout is extraordinarily elegant, the design is full, and the air conditioner is very warm. You can see that the proprietress has put a lot of effort into the check-in experience! In addition to eating at the Bamboo Forest Restaurant, you can also eat outdoors and on the top floor. It is very comfortable. The dishes are very rich. Every dish is delicious. The braised fish head is the most delicious, and there is freshly ground coffee. Very good mountain homestay, will come again next time! haha ^-^!

I recently stayed at Nanyuan Hotel during my visit to Ningbo, and I must say, I was impressed. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a lovely bathtub to relax in after a long day of sightseeing. I was also pleasantly surprised to receive a complementary bowl of fruits on arrival, which was a nice touch. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, even offering complementary yogurt during my stay. The breakfast spread was good, although I would have preferred more western food options. Unfortunately, when I visited, they had run out of fried bacon. However, this did not detract from the overall experience. I also appreciated the option of a late check-out, which allowed me to leave after 1 PM. Overall, I would recommend Nanyuan Hotel to anyone visiting Ningbo. The staff were friendly, the room was comfortable, and the complementary extras were a nice touch. I would definitely consider staying here again, provided the price is right. Apologies about my photos, I remembered to take them only when I was a bout to check out.

Staying in this hotel was really the right choice for me. I am an English teacher and have been in China for six months. It was an enjoyable experience at the Ningbo Kaiyuan Mingdu Hotel. The rooms have adequate heating, and we got fresh towels and water every day. Mengna's butler service is very good, she sent us milk and fruit as a gift to our room during Christmas. This hotel is really amazing. Ordering takeout can be delivered to the room door using A robot which makes it really convenient. It's worth a visit! The hotel is also equipped with a heated swimming pool and a gym, and spa. The breakfast was buffet and had a variety of things to eat. The rooms are spacious and bright and beautiful. I was placed on the 17th floor, which is a higher floor and very quiet. Great service, the staff are very friendly, I highly recommend it.

This hotel is close to the main attractions, shopping areas and nice restaurants. All are walking distance from this hotel. The hotel got all the basic necessities, the staff are helpful and friendly. There's a convenient store next to the hotel which is really convenient and they got a robot to drop off when you order take out.

New Century Resort Jiulong Lake exceeded all my expectations and provided a truly enjoyable stay. The staff was incredibly friendly, going out of their way to be helpful and offering valuable tips on things to do in the area. 包智慧 was especially kind and helpful! The room I stayed in had a beautiful view of the water, giving it a tropical vibe. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection of delicious options, and the resort was very family-friendly. While it was a shame that the outdoor pool was only open in July and August, the indoor pool and hot tub were still great. The resort's proximity to the Scenic Area allowed for a day of exploration, with hiking trails leading to waterfalls and a lovely temple. The resort was surrounded by lush trees, creating a serene atmosphere that I highly recommend. The option to rent bikes and participate in various activities added to the enjoyment of the stay. I particularly appreciated the pleasant bonfire evenings with music, which provided a nice touch without being too loud. Overall, I highly recommend New Century Resort Jiulong Lake as a place to relax and unwind. It's conveniently located just a 45-minute taxi ride from the Ningbo train station.

Recently, we were fortunate to stay at Ningbo Xinyuan Meilun Hotel (Tianyi Square), and we felt quite deep for a few days. 1． This store is strategically located in the city center, within easy reach of Tianyi Square, Tianyi Pavilion, Yuehu Park, Zhejiang University Medical College First Affiliated Hospital, and Chenghuang Temple. 2. Have little uncomfortable feeling during breakfast time owing guest without advance payment for that. The core reason is ”the waitress insisted, it's hotel rule and regulation, guest have to pay before eating”, this incident is happened on Aug 23,2023 morning section at 6F”, it's the first time shock me for more than 20 years travel and staying in hotel not only in Ningbo, but also all over world.

This was the last place for me to stay in Ningbo, where I'd lived for seven years. After checking out of my apartment, I was feeling very stressed at the time but the receptionists were super sweet. It is an amazing hotel especially for the price. Right next to Marina restaurant and with beautiful, quirky, book-themed decor. Rooms are spotlessly clean, Chinese breakfast is fresh and tasty and there is a very pleasant vibe all round. Despite my not being in the most relaxed frame of mind when I checked in, I had a very enjoyable stay - thank you.

Top in terms of location, facilities, staff friendliness and room standards. Zero stars for the quality of the dining experience, I'm afraid. Mediocre local dishes hopelessly overpriced and way below average by Ningbonese standards. Could have gone to Hanling village down the road or a bit further into Yinzhou for the same or similar dishes at a tenth of the price (and better quality). We felt it was quite an insult and if it hadn't been rather late and we hadn't been starving, we would have gotten up again and jumped in a Didi. My workplace canteen offers similar local dishes at less than 10 kuai/dish (ok, not a valid comparison, I must admit, but even the most expensive local restos don't charge more than 50 kuai either and provide bigger size portions and tastier). The portions were tiny and starters were priced on average at 100+ kuai while the mains, the size of starters, were on average 220+ kuai. Hardly reasonable for some seasonal veggies and 10 tiny rubbery beef cubes. The white wine hadn't been cooled (happens all the time but kinda unexpected if you pay 4,000 kuai a night for a resort in one of Ningbo's prime locations) and it was a cheap bottle priced at nearly 80 kuai a glass. Having stayed in a variety of luxury lakeside venues across Zhejiang over the years, we were pretty taken aback. For me it was the worst value for money food experience during my entire time in China. We loved our suite, the fitness facilities as well as the architecture of the entire resort though. The service was pretty professional and friendly even though hardly anyone speaks English which is surprising given that this place is regularly frequented by non-Chinese speakers from the local areas nearby (and we saw plenty of those for lunch). Also, in comparison to similar properties across Ningbo and Zhejiang, the breakfast was the worst also. Never mind the continental and English style brekkies (sometimes difficult to get right, we get that), even the Chinese dishes were mediocre (such as the soups, fried items etc) which was surprising. Should we return (we practically live down the road), we'll not spend a single penny on food in this place.
