Nanyuan Hotel

Facilities: This hotel, part of the Shou Lv brand, offers spacious and comfortable business rooms with excellent amenities. Hygiene: The rooms are spotless and meet all the standards of a star-rated hotel. Environment: The hotel's business wing boasts a tranquil and pleasant environment, with ample parking spaces. Service: The front desk staff were incredibly warm and polite. They even upgraded me to a suite, which significantly enhanced my comfort!

Visited during Chinese New Year. It was very crowded, as expected from an old-school five-star hotel. It's very close to the train station, Yuewang Temple, Chenghuang Temple, and Gulou. The only downside is that the facilities are a bit old, especially the toilet and sink faucets. In my room, the sink faucet handle kept dropping down as soon as I lifted it, so I had to constantly hold it up while washing my hands. The staff's attitude was excellent, though. They maintained their usual high standards even during the holiday.

Nanyuan Hotel is an old-school five-star hotel with excellent facilities, hygiene, environment, and service. There are also two popular breakfast spots right next door, and it's super convenient being right by Ningbo South Railway Station.

This hotel is Ningbo's first five-star hotel, and I booked it because it was conveniently located near my workplace during a business trip. The rooms are decent, and the front desk service was good. However, I have a few complaints. First, I'm not sure how guests are supposed to enter the hotel; many people were walking through a 30-centimeter gap in the flower bed, which felt like an 'open Ningbo, closed Nanyuan' situation. Second, the breakfast was truly terrible. The tomato juice and soybeans were so salty they were inedible. I've stayed in at least 80 hotels this year, if not 100, and the corn here was rock-hard – a waste of a bite. Also, there are several steps leading to the breakfast area, which makes me wonder how accessible it is for people with disabilities or the elderly. The coffee machine was there, and there were many staff members, but most of them just stood around without doing much!

I always stay here for my conferences; it's just so easy and comfortable. Although the facilities are a bit dated, the service quality hasn't dropped off at all. It's been a while since my last visit, and the breakfast selection has changed quite a bit. This bowl of beef vermicelli reminded me of the authentic street food I used to enjoy at Ningbo Chenghuang Temple years ago.

The hotel's location is excellent; we could walk to Nantang Old Street in about 10 minutes, and Yuyao Lake and Tianyi Pavilion were also within walking distance. The hotel service was great, and the staff were very enthusiastic. There was a minor issue with the room during check-in, but it was resolved quickly. Our reservation also included a Chinese set meal at Mantingfang, located on the hotel's second floor. The food was delicious, and the restaurant staff provided excellent service, even giving us a complimentary snack, a 'small golden medal.' My family really enjoyed the taste of the snack, which seemed to be a specialty of Ningbo. It was a pleasant autumn trip, and if we come back to Ningbo, we'll definitely choose Nan Yuan again.
