Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Pittsburgh Airport

We checked into our room and everything seemed fine until I accidentally knocked over a box of opener tissues and found a needle inside. We took it down to the front desk and they just said sorry one time and continued with their conversation. The sheet material made parts of my skin breakout and there was a weird stain on the window seat. All hotels are required to change out tissue boxes if they are open and I can understand if it was an accidental mistake but making it seem like finding a needle in the room was ok is what I can’t get passed

I stayed here for one night with my fiance and daughter, upon arrival i can tell the place was a bit run down. When i booked here i wasn't expecting a 5 star hotel but the pictures looked clean and i figured for one night it should be fine. Well i was terribly wrong, we got into our room and my daughter immediately says the bed is dirty, i looked and sure enough the top sheet had some stains on it. i then went to the bathroom and the shower was disgusting it was dirty all over and the shower curtain was black on the bottom, i called to change the room and they couldnt but sent the cleaning people to come they changed the sheet and i had to ask repeatedly to clean the shower FINE it was one night and we were leaving for the night anyway. The next morning which was the day we were leaving i noticed a huge stain on the mattress (the sheet lifted a bit from my daughter sleeping) that was it we left we complained again the manager looked at me with no reaction. Next day my fiancé is itching and has bumps all over his body, face, arms, back and legs. Thankfully me and my daughter are ok but he has never had this before, we are assuming the place had bed bugs but he is going to the DR to confirm. Place was terrible, even for one night.

Called before booking and inquired whether they still had the shuttle service to the airport and was told yes. Was not told it was 20 per passenger or if you were leaving your vehicle at the hotel it was 65. It was free a year and a half ago. Won't go back

Very average. The room was small but manageable. The breakfast was all carbs, but thankful for food.

Leaking shower fixtures, stains on the bedding, some kind of unidentified splatter on the cushion above the broken air conditioner.

The only thing I was unhappy with was that when I stayed there in Oct the shuttle was $5 a person and this time they charged me $10. That's quite excessive, I think. Next time I'll opt for more room and a free shuttle.

Very friendly and respectful staff. The breakfast was very basic but I had the opportunity to watch them set it up and I was impressed to see the time and effort put in by the staff to clean all surfaces before setting up fresh food. I observed some unruly guests using obscene language with the staff while checking out for no reason. The staff kept their respectful tone and remained professional.

I liked it had every store you can think of next to it good for a weekend get away if you're looking for a decent affordable place nothing to fancy breakfast was basic and side outside door didn't lock but the water was nice and hot
