Lovely hotel, reception and bar areas very nice with the reception areas having lovely marble flooring. Our room was lovely some aspects a little dated and the flooring was very sloped. Most definitely didn’t affect our time. Great parking, and in a brilliant location a short walk from shops, bars and restaurants. Would book the hotel again.

The hotel has a history of hundreds of years. When you go to have breakfast, you will find it has a sense of history. You can go for a stroll in the church opposite, which has hundreds of years of history. The entire city is full of hundreds of years old buildings, so you can go out and walk around when you have time. There is a Chinese restaurant nearby, a ten-minute walk away.

The room is American style and the mattress is very comfortable. And it looks clean and hygienic too

I’m so glad I had the chance to stay here! Wonderful property in an ideal location; the room was lovely and comfortable and I was able to explore Elm Hill and the cathedral so easily. The rest of central Norwich was only a short walk away. The staff was very helpful and kind; I would not hesitate to stay again.

Good location for access to the City, room had not been cleaned properly, cobwebs on the bed side lamp and thick layer of dust on one of the shelves, room was also very cold on arrival. Room itself was average and in my opinion expensive compared to other places i have stayed

The hotel is ok and the staff are lovely. I just think its over priced and now its £8 to park, i think i will use somewhere else fir my next visit. Borwich is lovely 👍

Quick check in. Lovely quiet hotel within walking distance of all amenities. Great location. Bed was very hard. The Wine Press restaurant served delicious food. However, when I arrived at 7.15 I was initially met with surprise by two waiters who said they'd have to check with the restaurant to see if it was okay, as I didn't have a reservation. I was then allowed to enter. I was travelling solo and, for the next hour at least, the restaurant was less than 20% occupied so it seemed an odd reaction for the waiters to have had. Good range of food at breakfast.

The hotel is perfectly located for visiting Norwich city centre. It is smart and comfortable but one or two basics only available as additional extras such as a bathrobe and parking. It was an extra £10 per robe on top of the cost of an Executive Double room and a discounted rate of £8 per night to use the hotel car park. It may be just us but when looking for a hotel with a car park and a hotel highlights there are car parking facilities we don’t expect to be charged. If you are driving an electric car you would be able to offset the fees by charging your car using one of the two charging points, this is free for hotel guests. Overall we enjoyed our stay and despite the hidden extras we would stay here again.

Great stay at this hotel. Room had lovely decor and was very roomy. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Special thanks to the lady on the night desk last night who ordered our friend a taxi to get her home! My friend wasn’t able to get a taxi for another 5 hours! But the lady arranged one for 10 minutes!! Excellent service!

We stayed for 2 nights. Hotel was located in the centre giving us easy access to everything we needed. The breakfast was the perfect start to the day. The room temperature was good and the beds large and comfy. The staff were helpful and attentive. We enjoyed our stay.
