Next to road, but I ended up sleeping fine as quiet other than this. 2 bottles of water and biscuits snacks, tea and coffee v generous and price excellent. A wonderful Namaste Indian restaurant next door with discount for hotel guests. Great hanging space in wardrobe, comfortable bed, great room temperature. Only thing was I requested hairdryer. Man offsite and said it could be put outside door by morning. I didn't get it, and was slightly concerned about what to do if locked out of room/or if there had been card issue without someone present."

"Beautiful hotel not far from city centre. Staff were lovely and welcoming. The room was large, with twin beds put together, which was unexpected with one duvet over both. I did expect separate twin beds, but it was ok. The hotel itself is full of history, including a knight. I called him Gerald. I would love to have been there longer than the one night so I could fully explore the hotel. We did not use the spa, and again, I would have loved to. We are likely to go back to fully experience what the hotel offers. Parking was easy, with plenty of spaces. Breakfast is buffet style plenty to choose from. No one shows you around just go and help yourself. We look forward to going back."

"The Hotel is literally a two minutes walk from the train station, the lad that checked me in was pleasant and showed me up to my room, no 10, the room overlooked the river which was nice, however there were no net curtains which wasn’t very conducive to privacy, the room was spacious, clean and tidy, there was plenty of room to hang clothes, there was two chairs a large tv and tea & coffee making facilities, the kettle was spotless inside, the mattress was very firm but did not disturb my sleep, however the pillows weren’t very thick so I had to use three, the bathroom was also quite large but showing signs of needing a lick of paint around the base of the shower, the shower itself was hot and powerful, there is free Wifi at the property, breakfast comes at an extra charge, £5 for cooked £3 for continental, there were cereals, juice and yogurts, the woman serving breakfast was pleasant and chatty, although it is just over a mile from the city centre there are plenty of places close by where you can eat, it’s ideal if you’re there for football as I was because it’s only about a 15 minutes walk to the ground, a very enjoyable nights stay. "

"It's less than a 10-minute drive from Norwich train station and not too far from the city center. There was a clean shower and bathtub, and amenities such as soap and shower caps were provided. The hairdryer was also of high quality, which was very helpful. The bed, towels, and bathrobes were also clean. I checked in late at night, but the staff were very kind and helpful. It's a good hotel."

Full marks come & go. A bus stop across the road 15mins straight into Norwich city. A pleasant prem inn with friendly staff a good breakfast 😋 to start your day. We will be returning. The Cookes."
