Very good resort. Facilities are top quality and well-maintained. Food was very yummy, although breakfast could offer more variety for a 5-star hotel (e.g. there was no smoked salmon for breakfast - I consider salmon to be standard at 5-star hotels catering to international clientele). Staff are well-trained and very professional. The resort also offers spa services as well as tour bookings, but we did not avail of these. For our travel dates the all-inclusive package on trip.com was by far the best value for money compared to booking directly or through any other website. One potential area for improvement is the provision of a mini rack on the balcony/veranda where guests can hang up wet clothes after a tour - would be a nice thing, which I've seen at some other resorts, as some guests just want their clothes to dry, not necessarily washed.

The culinary experience, unfortunately, was underwhelming. Despite fresh fruit and juice at breakfast, the lack of seasoning and the malfunctioning salt and pepper shakers were disappointing. The repetitive menu may prompt guests to explore dining options beyond the hotel. On the bright side, Maisha Nungwi boasts aesthetically pleasing surroundings and excellent amenities, including two pools and a commendable massage service. The friendly and accommodating staff further enhanced our stay. However, the hotel's feline inhabitants, while adorable, can be intrusive, often interrupting meals by jumping on tables or chairs. In conclusion, Maisha Nungwi is more suited to adults seeking exploration beyond the hotel's dining options. For those willing to venture out and discover local eateries, this hotel offers a pleasant stay with comfortable accommodations and attentive staff.

Perfect week, not having many bookings we had a free upgrade of our room, in front of the sea view beach, wonderful! The staff is super nice and available, manager Cyrus also organized a surprise dinner on the beach for us, very pleasant! The sea in front of the resort is amazing, subject to the phenomenon of the floods, often so it is difficult to bath, but walking along the sand languages that emerge the landscape is crazy! For the tours you can book on site with a local tour operator, Abdul is taking care of it, who has satisfied us in every request, also organizing private tours in such a way that they are free to decide on movements and timetables, It was nice and fun to spend time together! The position of Tanzanite is good, walking out c is a few steps the Baraka aquarium where you can notice with the turtles, and 10 minutes drive c is nunungwi beach, adding another 10 minutes you get to kendwa that are two of the most beautiful beaches of Zanzibar.
