Tucked away at the end of this small Bavarian village close to edge of the mountains, this family run hotel is a nice little getaway location. Quiet and clean with a good kitchen that is not so expensive. The well decorated and Bavarian style rooms look out over the fields and onto the ruins of the castle. Also practical there are close to the highway which makes it easy to get to.

Een fijn verblijf van 2 nachten gehad in dit hotel. Kamer was erg ruim, bedden sliepen goed. Ontbijtbuffet helemaal compleet en lekker. Er is een binnenzwembad geopend tussen 06.00 en 21.00 uur. Handdoeken daar aanwezig. Ook gedineerd in het hotel. Traditionele keuken. Lekker. Normale prijzen.

Das Hotel liegt am Ortsrand von Sulzberg. Von dort aus sind Wanderungen und auch die Skigebiete im Allgäu schnell zu erreichen. Toll ist auch die Nähe zu Kempten. Die Ausstattung des familiären Hotels ist normal, sauber und es ist sehr ruhig. Die Sauna im Untergeschoss fanden wir klasse! Das Hallenbad haben wir gar nicht genutzt , schade... Der Frühstücksservice war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend ;-)

Wir waren zu zweit auf einer Motorradtour im Sulzberger Hof über Nacht. Das Gebäude ist schon etwas älter, das merkt man vor allem auf den Zimmern, denn da ist nicht ganz alles so wie es soll. Aber die Freundlichkeit und Herzlichkeit des Personals, der sehr gute Service im Restaurant und leckere Speisen am Abend lassen einen als Gast total wohl fühlen. Da sieht man über ein paar Kleinigkeiten gerne hinweg. Schwimmbad und Sauna haben wir nicht besucht, können dazu also nichts sagen. Aber auch das Frühstück war lecker und so können wir insgesamt das Haus nur empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir mal in der Gegend sind.

Zunächst müssen wir der Küche ein große Lob zollen, da das Abendessen köstlich gemundet hat und das Frühstück reichlich und gut war. Ein großes Dankeschön auch den beiden Damen, die uns und den Enkeln beim Frühstück und Abendessen freundlichen, aufmerksamen und besten Service boten. Unser großes Familienzimmer mit Balkon entsprach deutschem Standard. Die Enkel genossen den Pool nach den Wanderungen im nah gelegenen Kemptner Wald. Schade, dass wir den Eindruck gewannen, etwas kühl empfangen worden zu sein und eigentlich auch die Frage vermissten , ob den zusammen über 160-Jahren- Großeltern vielleicht beim Koffertragen geholfen werden könnte. Die Verabschiedung war auch reichlich komisch, mit dem Hinweis, daß man uns eigentlich zum Bezahlen der Rechnung am Vorabend erwartet hätte. Ein Dankeschön oder guten Heimfahrt-Wunsch haben wir auch nicht gehört.
