Hotel it. Osaka Shinmachi

Osaka Station/Umeda/Yodoyabashi/Hommachi Osaka|1.34km from Kujō Higashi Park
Came here twice first as part of a group tour and second by ourselves.... the hotel is bright and airy, the rooms light and beds extremely comfortable. the rims have individual split system cool/heat which is much appreciated for those such as myself who enjoy a cooler room. mini bar & air purifier were also well used. the room configuration for us was a little odd and not practical as friends sharing.... the toilet is a separate room (with the door so close to the toilet you have to shimmy round to close) the door.. moreso the sink is in the actual room. I don't like coming out of the toilet to wash my hands and disturbing my friend. also having the bath/shower arrangement with no where to stay really dry unless you come out of the shower (again not practical when sharing as friends) .... however the products provided were excellent and the water pressure also good. a kettle was provided and limited tea/filter coffee provided. Next door to the hotel is a massive supermarket that you can get pretty much anything you want!! However the TV did not have 1 english speaking channel (for a hotel that caters for international visitors this did surprise me, as i've traveled all over the world and there's always 1 - usually news) the window coverings whilst look nice (wooden venetian blinds ) they are not blockout and as such the room gets light before 6 am! As our flight leaves late in the evening we wanted to have a late checkout - the hotel does offer extended check out at a price, however because we were leaving on a Saturday we paid for another night. the bar prices are reasonable (approx $8 AU for a well poured glass of bubbles!) and we had wood fired pizza in the restaurant that was $24 AU each. Breakfast was simple but tasty. (avoid opening time if you can it's a free for all) going down about 8 was quiet lots of seating. Of note the bacon, muesli and yoghurt were all great. lots of asian options

The location was great. It was convenient because there was an ion nearby, and the station was also close, so I could go to Nanba. I was satisfied because it was cheap, but I wanted coffee in the morning.

Before I traveled, I didn't read the check-in information sent by the customer service. After I arrived at the apartment, I found a circle of service desks and couldn't find it. I called the apartment contact number to know that it was a homestay and the check-in was self-service. Check out today and saw the check-in instructions on Ctrip.com two days earlier. Transportation: It is very close to Jiujo Station, but we are going to Universal Studios, so we have to go to Xijiujo Station. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the apartment to Xijiujo Station? It's fast, it seems that there is no 20 minutes to the tram stop. Environment: The surrounding area is quiet and not noisy. Convenience store is very close, McDonald's is actually nearby, there are Japanese-style izakayas around, there are also Chinese cuisine, eat it according to your own taste~ The apartment is well equipped and very clean. If you have your own favorite accommodation supplies, it is recommended to bring your own. The room has free wifi, which is fine. Overall comparison is quite good, wins in cost-effective, if someone is going to play Universal Studios, will recommend this.

We went to Japan for the first time and booked a hotel on Trip.com. At that time, we paid attention to two points: affordable and the room was big enough. But looking at the photos on Trip.com, I thought it was in the remote part of the suburbs. By the time we arrived at the hotel, it was already late at night, and the proprietress was still waiting. Arranged for us to live on the first floor, we couldn't believe it, there were four beds, bathrooms, simple dining rooms. We stayed for a week and didn't want to move. First of all, the room is clean and tidy, convenient and complete, really like at home, followed by the proprietress is also Chinese, there is no language barrier, and she is particularly enthusiastic. On the night we arrived, there was no yen and no meal. The proprietress immediately borrowed 20,000 yen for us to emergency. Third, we thought the location was biased, and we knew that the location was very good. The hotel is right on the side of the traffic avenue, there are four subway entrances and exits around, and it is very convenient to walk within 5-15 minutes from the hotel. Fourth, the hotel can provide a kitchen and cook by yourself. But we almost all eat outside, there are big shops and small restaurants around, which are convenient and delicious. If you go to Osaka next time, you must stay at the Gide Family Hotel again!

The room is comfortable, the location is convenient, and all aspects are good; it is only regrettable that there are 3 points: (1) Although there is WiFi, there is no place in the room to mark the password, and the escrow system staff do not know the details. It was found by looking for the WiFi transmitter later. (2) When we made a reservation, we clearly stated that it was 2 large and 1 small for a total of 3 people, but the housekeeping staff did not lay the sheets and pillowcases of the sofa bed (although there are mattresses, sheets and pillowcases in the storage cabinet, but no pillows), and in fact there are only 2 pillows. (3) The check-in procedure is cumbersome. The login system provided by the merchant actually has a problem and cannot upload passport photos. Later, the message here is asked and the login link is sent separately; But after arriving in the room, I still have to log in to the data again with the tablet placed on the desktop, and the tablet is already too old to charge, I spent a lot of time to complete the procedures.

On a business trip, alone. The hotel is very new, the room is also very new Non-smoking room, no smell of smoke at all. Cool Japanese business hotel, fully equipped. The single room is quite big. One of the reasons for the high quality and low price is that the room is not cleaned. Put the garbage and used towels outside the door in the morning, and they will give you new ones. I think it's nice and simple. For breakfast, there are four or five kinds of rice balls, two kinds of bread, three kinds of soup, vegetable juice, carrot juice, coffee, and tea with tea bags to make by yourself. I feel great. Check in at four o'clock, check out at ten o'clock, luggage can be stored in the lobby waiter, friendly Great praise

This is a lovely apartment with a cozy atmosphere. The check-in process is quite unique as there's no staff involved. Instead, you'll enter a lobby area, input your reservation code, follow the self-check-in instructions, receive your room code, and then head to your room - simple as that. The room itself is spacious and well-equipped for a comfortable stopover. It comes with kitchen facilities, a washing machine, and even a small balcony. However, there is one drawback to note: the apartment is situated near a railway station, and the noise from passing trains may affect your stay, even when the windows are closed.
