Unlike the pictures in Trip.com , the hotel is very old and the ONSEN Facilities are outdated .the clients are mostly elderly people ; the buffet breakfast and dinner quality is just average.

I used it on a trip with my family of three. There was some trouble at check-out, but I was very satisfied with the food and hot springs, and I would like to stay again.

The hotel was rather dated but it was well-maintained. The service staff was excellent. I stayed in a single Western-style room and by Japanese standard, the room was slightly larger than normal. Yukatas were offered to hotel guests to wear and it did feel more relaxing to move about in the hotel wearing a yukata. Breakfast and dinner were buffet-style. Spread of food (mainly Japanese with a more limited selection of Western) for both meals were excellent but the quality of food and cooking were fairly ordinary. The presence of boisterous (different) tour groups (from Taiwan) on both days of my stay, dampened the atmosphere somewhat. The onsen in annex building required one to wear hotel-provided wooden clogs to cross a lane separating the two buildings. However, the pool was far less popular as compared to the one in the main building and if one preferred more privacy, this might be a good choice. My only grouse was that wifi access was only available on the (spacious) ground floor lobby. Coming out of the hotel, turning left will lead to the village centre/JR station. Turn right and walk for about 150m, the road merges with the highway and at this intersection, there is a sizeable Lawson convenient store.

Stay in a Japanese-Western style room from May 4th to 6th.Reservations can be made on Yahoo. Other sites, such as the Oedo Onsen site, didn't have Japanese or Western rooms, so I ended up with a Japanese room. My 93-year-old wife has a bad back and was able to get a room with a bed on Yahoo. One night with two meals, approximately 23,000 yen The hotel itself is old, and two of the three elevators have been renovated. The other, older room is room 304. The light bulb on the ceiling in the hallway in front of the door was out, so it was so dark that I couldn't see the room number or see where the doorknob was locked. When I told the front desk, the electricity was turned on in about 30 minutes. The room had a tatami room and a bed room. It's still old. The toilet and sink have been rehomed. The unit bath is old. There are shampoo etc., but there is no chair for the bathroom. The inner garden can be seen from the window, but it's a bit dilapidated. You can occasionally see JR trains passing by, but you can hardly see them due to the trees. Meals are buffet-style at the restaurant on the second floor. When you hand your meal ticket to the receptionist, she will guide you to your seat. be. Morning hours are from 7:00 to 9:30, with people lining up at the reception desk after 8:00. Dinner is served in three shifts, starting at 5 p.m., every 90 minutes. There are many types of food, and the taste is delicious.Beverages are poured into glasses using a machine, but the checking is not very good, so orange juice is becoming more and more popular. It becomes transparent and loses the orange taste. The staff's response is excellent. The woman at the reception desk of the restaurant remembers the faces of the customers and is very responsive. The man guiding the cars at the entrance also remembers the faces of the customers and responds well. is wonderful

I felt that the service and facilities were worth the price. It seemed like the hotel was almost full due to the holidays, but the staff was very responsive and I was able to spend a comfortable time there. The food was a buffet for breakfast and dinner, and the menu was almost the same for the two days, but the number of items and taste was sufficient and I was able to enjoy it without getting bored. The good news is that the rice was delicious, as expected from the Tohoku rice region. I preferred the quality of the hot springs in the annex to the main building. The cloudy hot water with a slight petroleum smell, similar to Matsunoyama Onsen in Niigata Prefecture, was my favorite this time. Oedo Onsen Monogatari operates nationwide, and this was my first time working with them, but this trip made me want to check out other facilities if I had the chance.

The building and facilities are a little old, but the employees are kind and the food menu is extensive, and the all-you-can-drink alcohol menu is very reasonably priced.
