Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Masuya ★★★★
"Good breakfast and dinner, only thing is our car needs to be parked elsewhere!"
Yumoto Kissho ★★★★
"The food at this hotel is excellent, and the environment is beautiful. The hot spring water temperature is just right, perfect for a long soak."
APA Hotel Miyagi Furukawa Ekimae ★★
"I was knocked on the door of the room and woke up early in the morning. I thought it was cleaning after I knew I was leaving the room, but it seemed that I was knocking all the doors, and I thought it was such a system, but I was sorry that I wanted to sleep a little more."
Hotel Select Inn Furukawa ★★★
"The stay in general was suitable only some limitations for general rooms such share showers, toilets was confusing. But it is nearby Furukawa station"
Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Kounkaku ★★★★
"Location a bit far from train station. Challenging if have big heavy luggages. Good if can provide free shuttle service Most of the surrounding shops are closed and basically a quiet town Large room with indoor bath but the toilet door need to open inwards which make it hard to move in or out in a small confined space Good , big hot onsen, Can choose different designs of Yukata Buffet meals reasonably good but same food for 2 days and lack of sashimi or sushi."
Ryokan Ohnuma ★★
"Shigeo Nagashima gave this inn the motto of "cleansing the mind with a pleasant bath." It really was. Although my stay was a little short at three nights, I was able to take a bath and feel a great weight off my shoulders. If possible, I would like to stay five nights next time. The owner's mother made a wonderful cup of tea for me, and it is still a heartwarming memory."
Hotel Furukawa Hills ★★
"The hotel is nice and clean, and it is conveniently located near the train station. It’s very easy to get around👍🏻👍🏻"
Naruko Hotel ★★★
"The quality of the hot spring water is excellent."
Hotel Route-Inn Furukawa Ekimae ★★★
"Clean, sanitary and convenient transportation"

Yusaya Ryokan
"Excellent! Thanks to Yu-san and his staff for excellent, personalised service and exceptionally unique cuisine, both unrivalled by any onsen hotel, or even other ryokans. We shall come back and book the Tsuru Room next time, hopefully when the bears have hibernated and Yusaya’s signature rotenburo is once again opened."
Ryokan Yusa
"This is an inn that I wanted to stay at someday when I used it for a day trip before the coronavirus pandemic. As with all inns in Naruko, you can stay at a low price and the quality of the spring water is good. If I have time, I would like to try the hot spring treatment. The outside of this inn is old and looks bad, but the inside was very clean and I didn't feel any discomfort. All of Naruko's inns have unique hot springs, but the one that impressed me the most was the private open-air bath outside. It was filled with the feeling of a secret base and tickled my childish mind. The food was delicious and I was very satisfied with my stay for 1 night and 2 days. The owners of the inns are very friendly and I'm starting to find more inns that I want to stay at again."
Resort Park Hotel Onikoube
"The room was neat and spacious. However, one of the hotel guests had brought a pet dog."
Naruko Onsen Ryokan Kanshichiyu
"I thought I was prepared based on reviews on travel sites, but I was wrong. It was worse than I expected, in a bad way. I'm not particularly sensitive, so I thought I'd be able to manage, but I regretted it the moment I arrived. The entrance is the first thing guests see, and there was a pile of paperwork there. (It was piled high, like something out of a comic book, and it felt like it would collapse if even the slightest movement were to happen.) The front desk also only had a small amount of space available for the piles of paperwork, so even things like bathing tax payments had to be handed over in person. (There was nowhere to put them.) The tatami mats in the room were so dirty that even moving clothes or bags would get covered in crumbs. The futon was made of rice crackers. There were no tissues provided, so I had to bring my own pocket tissues (maybe there were some somewhere, but maybe I just didn't notice). Of course, if this was for around 6,000 yen with two meals included, I wouldn't have any complaints, but it was 9,350 yen. I had just stayed at a much cleaner inn with delicious food for just under 9,000 yen a few days earlier, so it was even more unacceptable. The toilet in the room was just barely normal, so I managed to bear it. The bath water quality was good, but overall I didn't feel like taking a bath, so I only went once. I felt bad for the owner because he's a nice guy, but even so, I think he should have thought a little more about how he would feel if he were a customer. I won't be going there again, but for those who don't mind that sort of thing, it might be nice to have meals in your room and feel at ease (I think these things vary from person to person)."
