Premier Inn Oxford Cowley

It’s ok hotel. But the some staffs are not that friendly. It’s really difficult to deal things. It’s just some staff and some staffs are good too. So it depends on which staff you are dealing with

The place is ok, it’s a bit far from the city center. Out if 10 I can give 7

A little odd layout. Three buildings which led to us walking quite a way to our room But the room was clean and tidy and comfortable. The receptionist was charming

Never disappointed with Premier Inn. Staff were super friendly. Room was clean and very comfortable. Well appointed and spacious. Shower was good - always an indication of whether I'll come back! Despite being near a busy road the location was very quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was recommended to us by family who live locally in Iffley. Easy to get to and close to Oxford. It has plenty of parking (make sure of input ting car reg and number of nights stay on the key pad in front of reception desk). Bus stops outside or short walk to catch busses to Oxford Centre. We stayed in premiere plus room which was a really good size and very quiet. It was very hot while we were there (27 deg), so glad of air con and fridge. Spotless hotel with a fresh perfumed smell throughout. Great large walk in shower and fabulous comfy bed. Brilliant hot or continental breakfasts. We had evening meal first night, plenty of hot and tasty choices. Staff at this hotel made us feel very welcome and chatted with us even though the restaurant could be very busy at peak times. Mini factory visitors centre is close and there's a big modern science building nearby. My family member told us lots of their visiting delegates use this hotel. Definitely would use this hotel again, prob one of the best premier hotels in my opinion. There was a good mix of people staying there, couples, families, workers and holiday makers, altogether making a really good all round a**osphere. Mr and Mrs Howarth. Preston Lancashire

Not recommended at all. The first thing we have to say is this is a very shabby run-down hotel and is split into multiple separate buildings with a central Beefeater restaurant and bar, and I don’t know when the windows were last cleaned. The only pleasant member of staff we met was the man who checked us in. We stayed two nights and found the breakfast to be pretty average. The fruit salad consisted of three different types of apples and a small handful of grapes and the fruit juice was odd, three different colours with no flavour so was difficult to tell what we were drinking. When we went in to the bar for a drink I was surprised to be told just after sitting down that it closed at 10pm and they were locking the doors just after that so we had to be out! When I queried this with the staff behind the bar they just shrugged and suggested talking to a manager who basically did the same. Oddly enough there is a sign in the bar that said ‘we are open till the cows come home’ obviously that is 10pm in Cowley. The second time we went in to the bar one of the female bar staff completely ignored me as she was busy putting some paper in a folder so I had to wait until she completed that to get served then a short while later was talking to a colleague and almost every other word began with an F – how lovely! Our room was fairly large and the bed was comfortable but the room had on armchair and one that was just a standard chair and very uncomfortable to sit on for more than a few minutes. The bathroom had heavy rust flaking off the door hinges and the shower was poor and over the bath that was far too high to safely get into. I have stayed in a number of Premier Inns and so expected the usual low budget but comfortable experience we had found elsewhere. DO NOT STAY HERE!

We chose the hotel because it was near to our visit to Mini Oxford and we had stayed at Premier Inn's many times before so knew what to expect.

An interesting enough stay - but I don't recommend breakfast in the adjacent restaurant - overpriced and poor quality.
