Good: We had an interconnecting room for our family of 5 with plenty of space, storage etc views from our balcony were lovely. Food was a bit repetitive after a week but ok. kids (10,13,16) mostly ate pizza and chips as they did not like the meats on offer (lots of fish and pork). Most of the time, the drinks machines were out of order or missing drinks at meal times. Clean hotel (eg pool area) Mostly quiet at night, not too many disturbances. Close to beach, shops and restaurants. The beach is beautiful and clean - we went almost every day of our holiday. A few issues fixed promptly (Aircon/TV not working, broken cupboard door) - although the TV did stop working again a couple of days later but we couldn't be bothered reporting it again. Bad: Maids took key cards from our room on two separate occasions - no idea why they would do this but our cards were left on the bedside table on first occasion and in the slot for lights/Aircon on the second occasion and when we returned to our room they were gone - the only person who had been in was the maid. Tried to tell reception staff but they just asked if we wanted more cards. Entertainment was poor and sometimes geared towards French guests. We often went back to room early or out to the main ***** for a walk. Lounge area too small for guests, really cramped. Queue for drinks too long, only two staff serving and could only get two drinks per person so would need 3 of us to go up for our family of five. Lots of french guests who barged in front of food and lift queues. Lifts - only 3 small lifts serving 11 floors (and mobile people on lower floors using lifts instead of walking!) Always walked down from our 6th floor room but very hard to walk up especially after a day at the beach etc so often had to wait up to 10 mins for a lift. Difficult to get sun loungers as there was five of us and most people had put towels on them in morning then disappeared. Ants in our room, tended to see them at night and maybe only 5-10 at a time but felt a bit dirty. This was near end of the week, so perhaps a deeper clean needed mid-stay? Overall, a nice hotel but we would not return.

Enjoyed my stay here. Used as a base for walking into Santa Ponsa/Costa de la Calma to see friends. Room was cleaned daily and was situated on ninth floor. Food was as you expect from an all inclusive hotel, buffet service. Also a snack bar at the pool bar. Staff were nice apart from one large shaven headed barman who I found to be a little bit rude. Location is a walk away from the beach and bars etc, though good transport links with buses right around the corner. All in all I enjoyed my stay here and would book again.

Just returned from a week here, the hotel was lovely and clean, especially the pool area and staff friendly especially Ana on the pool bar. Main let down was the lifts, we were on the 6th floor and my mother is 73 so couldn’t use the stairs. The lifts took ages, were small and doors closed quickly. The Spanish visitors would not hold the lifts for you. No kettle in the room (although you can hire one for 14euros) air con not switched on as we were told it wasn’t hot enough even though it was in the 20’s and our room was on the front of the hotel with the sun on it all afternoon, we were told by staff to just open the doors. You have to pay 45euros for the safe to only get 10euros back. As for the 2 drink limit at the bars, although that’s fine if you are a party of 2 but when you are a family of 4 it’s ridiculous. Miguel was friendly though. The food was repetitive and not a lot of choice for the kids other than pizza, chips which are served on the lunchtime but repeated on the night. I would consider staying here again but definitely not for a week and not with my family, it’s definitely a couple/friend hotel

Just got back from a 5 night break at the Mimosa and what a fantastic time me and my husband had. We arrived late and check in took only a few minutes. We had a beautiful sea view room on the 9th floor it was Spotless. The staff are very friendly and work so hard. The food is lovely and a lot of different choice even for the fussiest of eaters like my husband. The pool area is beautiful and kept to a high standard and the food at the snack bar is delicious - burgers hotdogs pizza chips salad are just a few things u can help yourself to throughout the day. That closes at 6pm and the bar inside opens at 6pm and there is entertainment on every night which finishes at midnight promptly and if u still have drinks left which we always did, you can go and sit in the hotel loby with them. The only minor complaint I have is the lifts there are just 3 of them and you can wait ages for them and they are very small. Overall we had an excellent time there and have already looked at booking for next April. Globales Mimosa Thank-you for making our holiday so wonderful.

The hotel itself was very clean and most of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. There were a lot of people there that made us feel un welcome because we had a little girl with us but on the up hand there were 3 people that stood out to us that went the extra mile and made us feel more than welcome, Migel Angel one of the evening bar staff was absolutely fabulous with my little girl, she has a hard time bonding with people but by the end of the holiday she was giving him high 5s and waved him goodnight, he would kneel on the car and pretend to get her with the ice tweezers which was funny even for me, my little one really took a shine to him, and then the entertainment staff which was Katarina and the gentleman (I’m unsure of his name) but they are also absolutely fabulous with both us and my little girl, these 3 people made our holiday along with the maids who also always spoke and made a fuss of my little one. The food was okay but I didn’t feel there was much choice for kids. Maybe next time we will come back in the school holidays as I felt this was the reason we felt a little uncomfortable with some of the other guests.

Stayed at this hotel for 5 days with friends in March. On arrival and throughout receptionists were friendly and helpful. Rooms were small but clean and had nice balconies. Cleaning maids will enter your room even with do not disturb sign on door which was uncomfortable. Leaks in the bathroom made the floor wet but we just used towel to dry it. On our first night we were in bed and were awoken by security complaining we were being too loud. Complained to receptionists and were left alone the rest of the time. At this time the hotel was full of Spanish OAP’s who were incredibly rude to us throughout and would just give us dirty looks and stare at us all the time, so wouldn’t recommend coming here out of season. The pool was shut for first 4 days of our holiday and outdoor bar closed, again wouldn’t recommend out of season. Bar men were rude and unhelpful. Entertainment at night was perfect is you were Spanish and over the age of 70. Was outside and was approached by another guest staying there and he started verbally abusing my friends and I out of no where and when escalated to bar staff they did nothing. Receptionists reassured us if he caused further issues they would help. Food choice is very small for all inclusive and not good for fussy eaters and drink machines were always out of order but food was of good quality. Wouldn’t come back again and wouldn’t recommend.

Very basic hotel supposed to be 4 star, but sadly not. Pros are 5 minutes walk to beach, and lively friendly staff. Biggest issues were lifts not enough for size of hotel and major waits. This caused potential safety issues as lots used stairs, and at meal times was a hive of activity, no fun for the elderly. Secondly food very repetitive, and in truth very bland. Combinations were there if the food wasn’t the same meat from yesterday with a tomato sauce added if you get my what I mean. Last grip was the only two drinks per person issue. I would of accepted it if it applied to alcohol drinks given the current clampdown by Spain. However it’s a constant annoyance when fetch kids a drink as well, you had to physically get them to do it themselves which is pointless for families with children.
