I read a lot of reviews from this hotel it was all negative reviews. I was worried what i booked but i went there from 4th April 23. Location is good, the room is good size for two person. Hotel is clean and staff is very helpful

Accessible hotel with very tiny rooms (with even tinier bathrooms) which aren't well soundproofed so you can pretty clearly hear the other guests in the corridors and other rooms. The AC/aeration didn't work in my room so it was very hot and stuffy particularly after a shower, forcing me to open the window. Also good to know that the Wifi is really sub-par and does not allow to work if you need to do video or audio calls. On a positive side, the staff, all very young people, was always nice and friendly.

Typical Parisian hotel - small and tight. Staff was friendly but sound proving was really bad. Parts of the hotel currently under construction and next door more construction. Work starts between 7 and 8 - enjoy sleeping in. Breakfast was rich and extensive. Location was really central - 15 minutes to Louvre by foot.

Could do for 1 night stay (which was precisely how long we spent at this hotel). Pros: - location - clean Cons: - tiny (literally smallest ever) rooms - grumpy and not-so-interested personnel - noisy area (and soundproof is not exactly the strongest side of this hotel)

Everything wrong about this hotel. I am an acore Platinum member and stayed at acore hotels multiple times but this hotel is the worse. Rooms are so tiny...yes it is Paris but we are talking about so tiny you can hardly move around. There is a construction site right in the front of the hotel. Very noisy and have large machines making loud noises which start as early as 7:30AM. Front desk claimed that it was mentioned in their website which is not true ( may be in their internal site). And they still charge a lot for a night without taking into consideration the noise and the disturbance from the near by construction site.

I stayed one night and it was horrible. What they don’t tell you is that the whole portion of the rue de Trévise that the hotel is on is a massive construction site following a gas explosion. In addition the building beside it is also undergoing construction and unbeatable noise fills the rooms from 8am. I paid €380 for a room in these circumstances which is truly unbelievable. Avoid at all costs.

Very rude staff. No customer service. Horrible tiny room. Not even space for more than 1 luggage. No reception just a person with a laptop. Food is horrible. Location was good and room was clean but definitely not worth the service or space. Do not recommend

I don’t know about you but our experience at Mercure Opera Lafayette was fantastic. Since the moment we arrived on my daughter’s birthday, Raphy, Julien and Hadrien were like a dream team at our service. Directions, good places to eat, questions about tours, transportation you name it; they even helped us order uber eats in French when we arrived to the hotel starving after returning from Disney Paris. The room and the bed were amazing, super comfortable and everyday was cleaned and restocked again. We had the time of our lives in Paris and a good part of the trip was the excellent accommodation and customer service. In the morning, they provide a delicious breakfast and the yummiest crepes and pancakes. I enjoyed the coffee and the freshly squeezed orange juice. My daughter and I recommend this hotel 100% especially for small families or couples.
