"Great Value & Convenient Stay in Paris I had a pleasant experience staying at this hotel during my visit to Paris. The location was truly a standout feature—close to major attractions and well-connected by public transport, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. As is common in Paris, the rooms were quite small, but reasonably comfortable and functional. Hygiene standards were acceptable overall. That said, the hotel would benefit from renovation and a fresh paint job to elevate its ambiance. One aspect worth mentioning is the staff. While they weren’t directly impolite, their interactions lacked warmth and enthusiasm, giving off the impression that helping guests wasn’t a priority. On the positive side, the booking process through Trip.com was exceptionally smooth and hassle-free. The price was very reasonable, and everything mentioned in the listing matched the reality of the stay—no unpleasant surprises. All in all, if you're looking for a well-located budget-friendly option in Paris with an easy booking experience, this hotel gets the job done."

"Excellent location with a fantastic view; watching the Eiffel Tower sparkle from our balcony at night was a real highlight. However, the room's soundproofing was poor; we could clearly hear noise from the neighbors and the street outside. The breakfast was very good, with a wide variety of options, and the fresh-squeezed orange juice was absolutely delicious. Service was just average. At 5 PM, check-in time, I was told our room wasn't ready. It was only after I complained that they bothered to check and then informed me it was actually ready. I suspect if I hadn't pushed, I would have been waiting even longer. It felt like service quality declined significantly when the hotel was busy. The main issue, however, was a very strong urine smell in the bathroom. It was incredibly obvious, and frankly, I don't know what the problem was. Out of all the hotels we stayed at during our two-week trip across France, this was the *only* one with a hygiene problem like this."

"Location of the hotel is superb, near metro and attractions. Walking distance about 10-15 minutes to Eiffel Tower. We booked queen bed for 4 nights. However, when we checked in at 11pm on 1/9/2025, the room given was not cleaned. There were pillows and used bedsheet at the given room. We were surprise and came down to report it. Due to unavailability, we have been given double bed connected into one, which was not comfy for us. One of the lift was under repair on 5/9/2025. It took 15-20 minutes to checked out since the morning 5/9/25 till mid day where only 1 lift working- a lot of guests waited too long including us! Meanwhile, during the week we stayed, the internet connection was on and off where there was maintenance carried out based on notice in the room. Should plan better to minimize interruption to the hotel guest. Overall, ok for the strategic location and the Aparthotel brand which is well known hotels chain worldwide."

"A bit small as bathroom, but very good services, location and very clean also. Raccomended if you visit Paris, just located near the Eiffel Tower (walking distance) and one of the Statue of Liberty, on the Sein River. Beautiful, central and convenient. Will be back for sure."

"First off, the location is incredibly convenient. Montparnasse Metro Station is just a five-minute walk away, making it easy to reach any part of Paris. The front desk service was also quite good, and the facilities were very comprehensive. The free mini-bar was a pleasant surprise, and the security measures were excellent. However, the biggest drawback was the hotel's hygiene, which was genuinely concerning. Upon arrival, I even found residual body hair on the bedsheets and duvet cover. Luckily, I had brought my own. Room cleaning was only average, and the mini-bar wasn't restocked for two days after its contents were used. Overall, there's significant room for improvement."

"The room was quite small and lacked an overhead light. The elevator was also quite old and tiny; it was a tight squeeze with me and two suitcases. However, on the flip side, the 3-4 staff members were all incredibly friendly and the service was excellent. The historic building had a lot of character, and the Eiffel Tower was visible right from our window. Its proximity to the metro station makes getting around incredibly convenient. Would definitely recommend! Photo 3 shows the hotel itself, while photos 4-6 are of the surrounding streets."

"Found this Hotel on Trip.com! What do I want to say! I don’t know who writes what) The hotel is excellent, I put 5 stars!!! The rooms are all clean! Breakfast is very tasty! The staff is very friendly and nice! Especially Girls 👧 working at the Reception🌹👍. Always during the day for guests They set the table with various sweets and water! If the water in the room ran out! On the -1 floor there is a room where you can take her to the room, it’s so boring for you!!! I went down to the -1 floor and mixed up the door, Managers work there! The girl is very sweet and pleasant, she showed me everything! Location at the Super Hotel 🙌🏻 Right with the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysees I recommend !!!!!"

"It is located at the 15 arrondissment, a fairly quieter and safe area in paris! the hotel is just less than 5mins walk from the metro. The room is bigger than i expected and all the facilities look new. I was pleasantly surprise by the room as it has a balcony which you can go out. As a solo traveller i felt quite safe since the police station is just opposite. Vaugiraud station is on the Line 12 of the metro which is easy to access to most of the attraction. Lastly, the staffs are extremely helpful and pleasant which makes my stay even more memorable. Highly recommend"

GGuest UserChoosing a place to stay in Paris is never easy. The whole city is charming and romantic, but where you stay can truly shape the tone of your trip. That’s why I was so happy with my decision to stay at the Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile during this visit—it turned out to be one of the highlights of my time in the city. First of all, the location is excellent. It’s less than a 10-minute walk from the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Élysées, and it’s well-connected by both metro and RER. Whether you’re planning to explore the city or heading out for day trips, getting around from here is a breeze. It’s also right next to the Palais des Congrès, so I imagine it’s a great option for business travelers as well. But the real magic of this hotel lies in its views. When I checked in, I politely asked if it was possible to get a room on a higher floor—and I was lucky enough to be given a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower. As soon as I walked in and saw that iconic silhouette framed perfectly by the floor-to-ceiling window, I was speechless. During the day, it was stunning. At night, it became something truly special, with twinkling lights illuminating the tower and casting a warm glow over the city. I found myself sitting quietly by the window, just taking it all in. It felt like Paris was unfolding just for me. The room itself was sleek, modern, and very comfortable. It wasn’t overly spacious, but it was perfectly arranged with thoughtful details—an incredibly cozy bed, a great coffee machine, high-quality toiletries, and excellent lighting. Everything was clean and well-maintained, making it easy to relax after a long day of exploring the city. Breakfast was served on the 34th floor, and it was an experience in itself. The panoramic views over Paris were breathtaking. Sitting there with a warm croissant and coffee while watching the city wake up beneath me was one of the most peaceful moments of the trip. The breakfast spread was varied and delicious, and the staff were kind and attentive without being overbearing. What stood out most about this hotel, though, was the quiet warmth of the service. The staff had that classic French elegance—discreet but welcoming, helpful without being intrusive. Even the housekeeping staff were thoughtful, and when I checked out, the front desk staff asked how my stay had been with such genuine interest that I found myself smiling for the rest of the day. To me, the Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile wasn’t just a hotel. It felt like a window into the heart of Paris—a place to quietly take in the beauty of the city, to rest, to breathe. It offered a sense of stillness and perspective, even in a city as lively and vibrant as Paris. If I return to Paris—and I certainly hope I will—I already know I’ll be coming back here. No other reason needed, really, other than that one unforgettable evening, sipping wine by the window, watching the Eiffel Tower shimmer in the dark. That moment alone was worth the entire trip.

SSteph The FrenchAussieExcellent place to stay. I stayed in a micro room, designed to accommodate single traveler, and micro it was ! But it was extremely clean, decorated with a touch of fantasy and while small, it had everything you could think about.  The staff I interacted with had always been friendly , polite and welcoming.  The location is close to the train station and its subway and RER lines.  Overall, a small, but excellent little hotel to stay.  I would not hesitate to come back to this place.

GGuest UserI first stayed at this Hotel in 2014 and was very impressed with the entire experience, so I valued this hotel and always wanted to return… 8 years later and I was extremely disappointed. I booked a superior villa room, and we was given room 6. This room is located on the ground floor directly behind the reception reception desk on the ground floor. The receptionist (skinny white male, 40+ years old) who checked us in on 15/12/22 at 11:30pm was very rude, awkward and sarcastic during the check in process. When we got to our room, we felt it lacked privacy being on the ground floor with only a wall between us and the main reception area, the Toilet was also in a separate room with no sink, meaning anyone who uses that toilet would need to open the door with their dirty hands and walk all the way to the bathroom to wash hands. There were also mascara stains on one of the pillows. We requested if we could change to another room on a higher floor but to the same level for what we had paid for (superior villa room). The receptionist said this was fine, and changed us over to another room on the 5th floor. We were really happy and grateful until we got to the room, only to find this room was actually a downgrade to a ‘classic villa room’ which felt much smaller and wasn’t very nice. This also wasn’t explained to us prior to him changing our rooms over. We returned to reception and asked why we had been out in a downgraded room, his response was he didn’t realise and this was a mistake in his behalf. I asked him if there were any other rooms to the same value as what I had paid for the superior room available on another floor. I was told out of the entire hotel there was only two rooms left, the one behind reception, or the classic room on the 5th floor which would be a downgrade. We reluctantly opted to stay with the original room behind reception. The receptionist was very smug and seemed to find this funny. After settling in and falling asleep… 6:30am a motorbike wakes us up, as our room is located beside the main entrance and reception we hear every car or motorbike dropping off, or picking up guests, and every person checking in or out. 7:15am the bins are collected, again very loud and as our room is right next to this area we hear it all. It really seems standards have significantly dropped since we last stayed. Service seems to be poor and cleanliness of the hotel not as good as before, an overall terrible experience and if it wasn’t so late when we checked in I would’ve booked another hotel because the receptionist was so rude. On a side note, I must also say there was another receptionist who was working the night shift the following day (16/12/22) around 10pm and he was very friendly, helpful and a nice person. If I could give him 5 stars I would, but unfortunately the experience with the initial receptionist meant our experience was already tainted by this point. I doubt we will ever return unfortunately, and cannot recommend, unless your guaranteed a decent room on a higher floor.

AAlb33It was a lovely staying after Christmas and wonderful location for tourists. The room is relatively big and very comfortable, you’d have a tiny modern kitchen with cutlery, water boiler and hob as well as a fridge. Not to mention the blackout curtains did the job! We had a very good sleep for 2 nights :) The receptionist was very kind and helping! He recommended a restaurant called ‘Au Relais’ for lunch nearby and it turned out absolutely amazing!! At last, we really enjoyed the coffee machine in the lobby so cheap and convenient!

GGuest UserThe people were fantastic! Very helpful and accommodating and deserve good tips. The location is nice, not that close to EiffelTower but close to park and restaurant choices. You need to learn the metro and bus system in order to visit Paris or if you have a family just Uber. Two big issues: the indoor pool water is cold and my 11 year old refuses to swim in it. A pool was a huge selling point and ended being unusable. The place caters to families, and a 24 hour payable washer and dryer would be very useful on the premises. Otherwise, the beds are very comfortable and I definitely recommend staying there as a couple or with family.

GGuest UserIn Depth Experience Report of LYF Gambetta Hotel Paris - A Genuine Guest's Pleasant Surprise Introduction: As a frequent traveler who has stayed in numerous hotels across France, choosing the LYF brand this time upon a friend’s recommendation was a completely new experience. As a first time guest of this brand and someone unfamiliar with this particular area of Paris, I documented my stay with an entirely objective perspective, and it turned out to exceed expectations. Facilities: The hotel is brand new, and while there was a faint hint of paint smell in the room (likely due to recent renovations), the overall facilities are thoughtfully designed with a youthful, practical, and distinctive style. My base room was around 20 square meters—already significantly larger than other Parisian accommodations in the same price range. According to the website, the hotel also offers family friendly options with kitchens, loft style rooms, and more. The complimentary bedtime tea was excellent a well known French brand also sold at Lafayette ,perfect for unwinding at night. The coffee provided wasn’t quite to my taste, but it was still decent. The basement level (B1) features a laundry room, entertainment area, gym, co-working space, and meeting rooms, all uniquely designed. Notably, there’s a shared kitchen fully equipped for guests to cook their own meals ,a fantastic amenity! Service: It’s clear that the hotel’s opening team is still in training, and while some staff members appeared slightly inexperienced, their dedication was evident. Every request I made was promptly addressed. One employee, Helana, stood out-when she noticed I seemed unsure in the laundry room one evening, she proactively approached me, asked if everything was alright, and offered a solution. The next day, I observed her energetically assisting other colleagues. When I complimented her, she humbly replied that she genuinely enjoys helping others and even shared useful insights about the hotel’s facilities. Another front desk lady (whose name I regrettably forgot) was consistently warm and smiling, resolving my queries with kindness and even granting me a late checkout. Outstanding service like this truly minimizes travel hassles and adds delightful surprises to the journey. Impressed by LYF’s service, I decided to extend my stay by five more nights for a deeper experience. Safety & Transportation: Some had warned that this district might not be the safest, but my stay proved otherwise. The area is well connected, just a five-minute walk to the metro and feels like a residential neighborhood with an artistic vibe. One night, I returned to the hotel at 3 AM via night bus and walked back without issue, as the streets were still lively with people chatting or on dates. The area is both tranquil and culturally vibrant. Dining: Plenty of supermarkets and restaurants are within easy walking distance, making dining options convenient. Booking Recommendation: Ideal for travelers seeking an ”authentic local living” experience, young families, or digital nomads. The base room offers great value, while longer stays may warrant upgrading to a kitchen equipped unit. Final Thoughts: Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. Considering its location, price, safety, facilities, and service, it stands out as the best I’ve experienced in Paris. While not the most luxurious, it’s undoubtedly a unique space that lets you feel the pulse of the city. My stay was so enjoyable that I’ve decided to book another five nights after returning from Nice. I’ll share an update after my second stay!

KKhalilMohammedLocation is great. Reception team need to be more friendly and supportive. They do not respond to some qyluestions. There must be activities organized by the hostel for new travellers or even recommended program. Rooms are clean but do not have any kind of ventilation through the very hot weather the last few days. There must be Fans or ACs. I generally like the experience and will be repeated. More care to Toilets please they need to be fixed.

GGuest UserI was surprised to stay in a Paris hotel for my vacation. The room was clean and quiet, which was good for my boyfriend to relax in because we were exhausted from getting around Paris. The staff members were nice and helpful. Btw, the location was kind of scary because it was located on the outskirts of Paris and full of homeless and immigrants. It was not hard to travel to the city centre. You can take a few minutes walk from the hotel to a bus stop which is direct to the city. However, whoever travels by car or bus and chooses to stay at this hotel, I strongly confirm that the hotel also provides security 24/7. So, I would recommend this hotel.

TTeresa portogheseThe positive aspects are: -The location of the hotel is excellent, the cadet stop is practically a 1 minute walk away. -The room was clean and the bed was comfortable -Friendly staff Negative aspects: -The shower has a curtain that was not very clean (the curtain tended not to retain the water therefore) -Above the toilet on the ceiling there was a fire shower head where every 2-3 minutes a drop of water fell All in all I would recommend it as a value for money
