Hotel Ambre

friendly and thoughtful. Location is superb, food is delicious and the 1km long white Sandy beach is just beautiful. The territory is nice, very clean and large. The food was delicious, especially the dinners

Hello all you lovely people. I would like to share my experience at Ambre hotel. We did our team buiding there and we had a wonderful time. A special shout out for Mr Damien (who was our animator for the day)and his team. Big thanks to the team of the hotel due to whom our team building was a great success. 😊

We have just returned from Mauritius, we stayed at the Ambre. On arrival you are greeted with an amazing mocktail, no queuing at reception you are seated, and they come to you take your passports all very relaxing. Very friendly staff. We were taken to our room unfortunately it wasn't what we expected, we didn't even unpack, we immediately went to reception, and explained. We met Reyad Emambacus Front office manager who explained that they were full, but as soon as a room becomes available, he would move us. It took 2 days but eventually we moved, he even escorted us to our room to ensure that we were happy, we were. He is a credit to the company. The food is ok the breakfasts are super, lunch not so, and the evening meals are also OK, however the Italian restaurant is amazing, its open for lunch and dinner, there areitems available for free with all-inclusive, but other items are charged at lunch very reasonably priced well worth trying for lunch The beach snacks are also very good. The entertainment was fun something different each night, my husband was not a fan of the cocktails just not very good at all, the local beer was fine. The pool is lovely, but the water is cold!!! We also had a spa treatment which we both enjoyed. We would recommend the Ambre but be very diligent on checking what rooms you book.

There is absolutely nothing to find fault with in this hotel. I had back bacon most mornings for a toasted sandwich which was lovely. Ate in the restaurant and the Italian and both are excellent with a good choice of food. Location is peaceful and quiet and a taxi to go out and about is good value. All and I do mean all the staff are so kind, helpful and appreciate you staying in their hotel right from the gardeners up to management. They rake the beach every morning so it’s pristine just the like the gardens. We used the glass bottom boat and partner went snorkelling several times of a boat both are free. We used Chris (Papas Dream Comoany)who walks along the beach during the day and booked a fu e island tour which was fantastic. We had the lovely Kenny taking us in a speed boat and he was fun , knowledgeable and managed to show us turtles, dolphins, star fish and obviously the monkeys. I would like to thank everyone for such an enjoyable stay especially, Reema, Teward, Davison, Akash in the restaurant. Kevin, Nicki and Salvern serving drinks on the beach. Kevin abd Akash in the Italian. These are names I remember so please forgive me if I haven’t mentioned you. Would I return - most definitely time and time again.

Not clean...there was feaces on the towel🤮 Personel not friendly Dont care about their guests Parking was ok but charging was terrible Need special subscription so useless Try to find better hotel for paris instead of this one

I like a lot the helpfulness and kindness of the staff. The position of the Hotel is very good because it is very close to metro and to night pubblic trasport. The Tolbiac and Place de L'italie are two confortable zones to rest and to "taste" the parisian life.

Poor condition of bathroom. No ventilation Very difficult access to toilet. Rost in shower cabinet of metallic parts.

It was great. People are fine, helpfull and warm. Location is central either. Just they take deposit when you arrive from your credit card but it takes too long to reimbure back.
