Hotels near Maison Fouquet in Paris

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! I had a double room. It was very clean and calm, with a large bathroom. The rooms' decoration is certainly dated and basic but it is functional. The person at the reception the day I left was extremely helpful. The hotel is very conveniently located: about 100m from Gare Saint Lazare (and the metro) and very close to shops and large department stores in a very lively neighbourhood. I would happily stay there again. Great value for money.

This is a classic boutique feeling European hotel. The rooms are very small but we found space for all our clothes and items for the week and tucked our suitcases out of the way. It's a relatively quiet area at night. The water pressure and water temp was amazing (one thing I struggle with at European hotels a lot!). Great area to get where you need to go, Paris is huge so you end up taking uber/metro/bus no matter where you stay. There's a wonderful chocolate shop and a couple of cafes just around the corner but the star is the tiny market across the street that has just about anything you would need. Please remember this is a 4 star hotel not 5 star. If you want a 5 star hotel, go pay 5 star prices. The front desk staff was amazing, I listened to one speak 3 different languages helping all of the guests within about 5 minutes. We had a great week ans would definitely return to this hotel.

The location was excellent. The room was very clean, though very small. The staff were very friendly. I didn't pay for breakfast, but I could have free coffee and tea every morning. The metro station was 1min far, however always check for the metro construction not to miss your train or flight.

There’s nowhere else you want to or need to stay if you’re on a 5-7 day trip to Paris. It’s safe, cosy, clean and so ideally located to everything, what else do you need? The room is super comfortable, put aside being spoilt all those years with big space on holidays, you should be in your room to wind down after a long day and have a great sleep, CitizenM delivers that and more! I will not stay anywhere else in the future ❤️. Eiffel Tower/Trocadero (22 min walk), Champs Elysees (3 mins walk), Louvre + Jardins (15-20 mins) etc etc

On this trip to Paris, I was very worried about where to stay near the Eiffel Tower, but I really liked staying at the Novotel Real at Châtelet Station. First of all, the staff are very friendly, the hotel accommodations and bedding are all clean, and the rooms are cleaned every day! First of all, the accommodation itself was very nice. Also, there is an elevator that goes down to Châtelet Station right in front of the hotel, so you can go anywhere by going down, and it was really convenient to go to the airport all at once. Additionally, there were Korean restaurants, K-Mart, Five Guys, McDonald's, and Burger King all nearby the bakery in front, so it was really very convenient. Even when going to the Eiffel Tower, it's okay because you can take the bus or train within 10-15 minutes. I will stay here again when I go to Paris!

We just returned from a fabulous stay at the Peninsula Paris and our time there was so special that I feel compelled to write this review. This is a top-notch hotel that goes above and beyond to make your trip unforgettable. Let's start with the staff - Rana at the front desk, Nicholas and Paul at the concierge, Jose at the valet, Volica in housekeeping, and Imran as the greeter (to name a few, but certainly not all) - are the kindest, most helpful and amazing people I have ever come across. They not only made our return there so good, but they also left an impression on our 7 year twins that they soon won't forget. The concierge was able to get us coveted reservations at some of Paris's hottest restaurants and boutiques. The room was immaculate, spacious and comfortable. The food was unreal - the daily pastry basket at breakfast, the dumplings at Lili and the chocolate - are all a must!! Me and my husband have traveled a lot, stayed at many fine resorts, and this is truly at the top!

Decided to book a last minute trip to Paris & my partner had booked this hotel as part of a package. Upon searching the hotel, I was very skeptical how this hotel would be and had very low standards of arriving due to all the reviews I’d read. The room & hotel were clean and tidy, staff are lovely and nothing was a hassle for them, breakfast was brought out quickly and re-filled if finished! Only downfall being how tiny the bathroom is, quite a struggle getting round about everything in the bathroom as it’s all packed in so tightly & the mattress was a bit uncomfortable, but that bit wasn’t too much of a bother to me as the pillows made up for it! Two stars knocked off primarily for the size of bathroom and mattress but can’t grumble too much due to the price paid! Still very happy and satisfied with our stay.

Facilities: good Hygiene: very good Environment: It is relatively close to the subway station, and the Carrefour supermarket is only 50 meters away. The surrounding houses and streets are typical Parisian features. Service: When language communication is not smooth, the front desk will take the initiative to provide translation software for translation.

The hotel's entrance is not obvious, but the location is very good, very close to the Louvre, Lafayette is not far away, go out to the shopping street, there are Giorgio Ar***i, Louis Vitton, Chloe, Celine and so on. The hotel bathroom and bathing area are separate and the facilities are modern. Some rooms can accommodate an extra bed. Breakfast is Western food, good quality, if you can have a little Chinese food, after all, there are quite a lot of Chinese people. Wenhua's service is as good as ever. Going to Paris later is still the first choice.
