Nice place, very friendly staff. Simple hotel with a pleasant peaceful area. If you want to get outside the hotel there is basically nothing and you're not too close to any town area, that's the only downside. You need a taxi to all towns, treks and the airport

Location: The hotel is very close to Tiger's Nest Temple, but a bit far from the airport. Cleanliness: It looked clean, but for some reason, there was an inexplicable dirtiness. Upon closer inspection, the sheets were damp and stained, and the bedspread was pilling, making it very uncomfortable to sleep in. The bathroom had a strong odor, which also made the room smell foul. Service: The receptionist, an older man, spoke very poor English, making communication impossible. He initially gave us the wrong room, and I had to show him my booking confirmation before they changed it. He called late at night to ask if we wanted dinner, but we were already in bed. Booking Process: For some reason, every hotel we visited said they hadn't made a reservation and asked if we booked through ******** or Agoda. We actually booked through Ctrip, but it seems there was a problem with their handover, resulting in lengthy explanations at each check-in. Negative review.

A very pleasant stay! The wifi was strong, the bed was soft and warm, the AC/heater worked well and and staff were amazing! I ate at the hotel restaurant (picture shown) and the food was good. Not only would I recommend, I would happily return and stay again!

We spent a wonderful night at The Silver Cloud. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Tshering, her husband and staff were so welcoming and genuinely friendly. Nothing was a problem for them. We loved their pumpkin soup so much, my husband asked for the recipe and before we’d finished dessert, the recipe had been handwritten and presented to us by one of the staff. Our room was huge and clean, with all facilities. It was unfortunate we could not spend more time there but we were on a tight schedule. We highly recommend the hotel and would stay again if we were to return to Bhutan

We had the pleasure of staying here on our last two nights in Bhutan. After an exhilarating, and tiring trip this was a great place to stay. A touch of luxury with very friendly and helpful staff. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and clean. A great place to stay!

I had a short stay at this hotel -- reached here in the evening and flew out of Paro early next morning. The staff were great -- professional and helpful. The room was great as well. There was a heater, bathroom was excellent, there was a desk and usable wifi. The dining room was very nice and so was the food served in traditional wooden dishes.
