Zhiwaling Heritage Hotel
"I stayed at this hotel as part of an 11 day multilocation group tour. The hotel was fabulous and I highly recommend it. The staff were helpful and sincerely gracious. The rooms and dining space was lovely and the main building upper floors were like a museum with many historical pictures and items."
Le Méridien Paro, Riverfront
"Nice property and have a wonderful day Staff was so nice and friendly We have celebrated our anniversary and enjoyed Special front desk from dorji, nam hay and dawa help us a lot and make our stay enjoyable"
Taktsangri-La : Faraway Heaven
"Had a really good stay at this hotel. The decor is aesthetic and pleasing, with tastefully done interiors. Maintenance is on point – everything looks fresh and well-kept. The room was spacious and clean, which made it comfortable to settle in. Bed was comfy, the bathroom had all the basics, and no mess anywhere. Service was courteous; staff were helpful and polite. A little away from the main town centre of Paro, but quite close to the Tiger Nest trek starting point, which worked for us. Food was good too – options available in Indian, Bhutanese and Korean. Portions were satisfying, and there were options for different tastes. Overall, a very good experience and we are hoping to return again."
Nirvana Inn
"Nestled in an idyllic setting, our hotel offered a personal balcony that opened up to breathtaking views of the serene countryside. Evening strolls through the charming paro market were just a short walk away, adding a touch of local culture to our stay. The hotel is exclusively vegetarian, but with numerous nearby restaurants, non-vegetarians will find plenty of options to savor. Our overall experience was truly wonderful, a perfect blend of comfort and beauty."
Tshongdu Boutique
"Wow the I had a warm stay at the Tshongdu Boutique. Staff were all professional and flexible for our help. They were all concerning. Location was perfect for my stay to hike Tigernest and have a Bhutan city and village live experience. Hotel amenities is standard and all required facility is available. Front desk was available 24/7. They provided medicine as and when required. Thank you Tshongdu Boutique."
Dzi Pema
"I had a great room with awesome views from my glassed in sunporch at this lovely hotel. It is fairly small in a calm, quiet setting up on a hillside just outside Paro (near airport). It is very close to Paro and probably walkable if you don't mind a steep hill with no footpath. I took a lovely walk up the hill from the hotel which had little traffic, forest and views. The hotel was very clean, had the best hot shower I had while in Bhutan (including amenities such as a blow dryer). Bed was firm and comfy and though I saw no source of heat I had plenty of warm blankets & outside temps were cool but not cold. Good breakfast and dinner. Staff is lovely."
Rema Resort
"Indian food was really bad and slightly expensive. The staff is not cooperative. They hardly listen to what you say. You ask for something, they pack something else. We requested them to pack a couple of breads for us coz we had to leave early, but we ended up not leaving early. We told them we’ll join the buffet, but they said you’ll have to pay even though my room was inclusive of the breakfast. So not a great experience food wise overall."
Tiger's Nest Resort - Best Resort in Paro, Bhutan
"A beautiful place with an incredible view of Tiger's Nest Monastery. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Royal Suite with balcony -the view was absolutely breathtaking. The service was excellent, and while the resort serves vegetarian meals, they were perfect for us. For those seeking a vegetarian-friendly restaurant, I highly recommend this resort for its outstanding meals. The staffs are friendly, energetic, and truly caring. We loved staying in this resort. Hope to come back soon."
Como Uma Paro
"Blissfully Quiet and Serene Stay. Excellent Hospitality. Very accommodating for every request you make. Surprisingly close to Paro airport. The heated pool is a perfect place to bond with family or reconnect with yourself. Indian food needs some improvement."

Shomo Chuki Resort
"Stayed here for 3 nights. Room was clean, good mattress, coffee facilities and a gym which was huge and very well equipped. The restaurant staff were exceptional and even made me special dishes that they thought I might like. Food was usually a set meal, driven by the tastes of the majority of guests, so there was Indian food for at least 2 nights. I have to mention however that the huge issue at this hotel is the *&*&#(*& barking dogs. While it's a feature of most hotels in Bhutan especially around Paro, this place has at least 2 dogs that live next door and they yap constantly all night. Bring earplugs, I'm so glad I did. If I didn't have earplugs I would have given it 2 stars."
Hotel Center Point
"Beautiful hotel, clean, modern rooms, nicely appointed. Better quality than any hotel I’ve experienced in three month long visits to Bhutan. Friendly staff provided excellent service. The buffet at the restaurant was excellent especially the kewa dahtsi. Highly recommend."
Taktsang Village Resort
"The location is beyond explaination with lush greenery around. One can have a view of tiger nest monastery."
Hotel Khamsum
"Great stay in affordable price with top notch amenities n decent breakfast. Located nearby paro town centre. Highly recommended"
Hotel Dorjiling
"The hotel is in a great location, and it is beautiful, comfortable, and clean. Everyone working at the hotel is incredible: so nice, attentive and lovely. The food was also delicious! I had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend it"
Gawaling Hotel
"We traveled to Paro Bhutan and stayed in Hotel Gawaling, it is a small Boutique Resort near the river, which gives a pleasant view in morning. Hotel staff define the hospitality. Food is nice. Would like to suggest everyone."
Nirvana Lodge
"One of best and most comfortable stays. It was completely worth every penny. The host was responsive and helpful even before we entered Bhutan by informing us the rules and requirements of a driver and guide. The check in was quick and easy. We were welcomed with a welcome drink which was much needed as it was a cold day. The chef(Mr Icha Ram Adhikari ) and the other staff ( Aita Maya) were kind and helpful. The food was amazing and the chef even made pancakes for us on our check out day. Everything was well organised, room was spacious and clean , all amenities were provided and everything was functional. The lodge is fairly close to both the tiger nest( must visit in Bhutan) and the paro market( amazing for shopping and eateries). We ended up extending our stay by a day and would recommended this place to everyone."
Silver Cloud Hotel
"Nice place, very friendly staff. Simple hotel with a pleasant peaceful area. If you want to get outside the hotel there is basically nothing and you're not too close to any town area, that's the only downside. You need a taxi to all towns, treks and the airport"
Taktshang Paradise
"This hotel is very good value for money considering its price range. The staff and owner are super hospitable and very accommodating to guests’ needs. The food is good, and the location is close to Tiger’s Nest so it’s a great option for those hiking up to the monastery next morning. Overall highly recommended."
Tashiling Hotel
"Really a great place to stay. Room rates are Really cheap and food is great with friendly staff. Worth visiting this place at Paro."
