La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Tampa Bay Pinellas Park Clearwater

Good location. Been staying here a month now and it is adequate for my needs since it is a entral ocation in Pinellas County and I am rarely in my room.

I was staying at several La Quinta on my road through Florida. Not anymore. They have been cancelled. Specifically picked here to use laundry facilities. When checking in I asked about laundry service's and was directed where and how to use the digital washers. Loaded the machines with soap and than found out washers were disconnected. No out-of order sign as well. Only had nightgown on, all clothes in washer full of soap. Motel would not help me out, directed me to go to laundry mat in my nightgown . Under the circumstance's with clothes full of soap would not allow me to use industrial washer machine. There mistake, and was told laundry facilities is a service they offered, don’t have to provide it. So beware. You might think you’re getting breakfast, however this is also service as well. Hotel would not help me out and they messed up. Absolutely no respect for their paying customers. Manager would only text staff about situation and would not talk to me . Never again will I stay at this chain again. Do not recommend

The staff was very rude and inconsiderate when I informed them (Santiago) of the expired milk I was given at the complimentary breakfast that they offer. The employee staff member had no remorse, didn’t even apologize. Just thanked me for informing him. Didn’t offer to replace spoiled milk from 02/25/2024 or compensate in anyway.

So they remodel everything was new but it was missing a microwave and mini fridge. Bed headboard broke but the staff came quickly to fix it. Breakfast was ok lots of choices but mostly microwave or toaster products nothing freshly made, that was a little disappointing. Overall for the price it was a good stay.

Good price at the last minute to book on a Wednesday for one night. Staff was great. Bed was clean and comfortable. Looks like they are working on cosmetic improvements. One of the power outlets in the room does not work. Had to move the microwave into the bathroom to plug into a "convenient" working outlet. Haven't had the continental breakfast yet, That's tomorrow. Sucks that it's only available from 6am-9am... SHOULD be available until 10AM!!

This trip had thee legs, and this was the final one. I was really looking forward to being in St. Pete. The location really was not bad at all as it was on two major streets. One leading to the places where I wanted to go, I just wished that the other street were not a flyover. Sure I can get to it, but I’d have to backtrack. The staff turned out to be quite friendly and helpful. This would prove crucial toward the end of my stay. The facility was quite dated, and there was a sign in the lobby informing guests of the renovations underway. It would have been most helpful to know that the hotel had no elevator. I was put onto a third floor room. Thankfully, I was in the same building as the inside stairs. For one thing, it was in the 40’s outside. For another thing, the stairs are unaffected should it rain. When staying here, it is essential to have the key card at all times. It was needed to get to the stairs. So, I’m happy that at least the hotel is secure. Breakfast was a small affair with cereal, baked goods, toast, juice, and coffee. I could take it or leave it. The room was a bit dated, with no phone charging outlets by the lamps. I had to use my charging cube in the plug by the bathroom sink. That, of I’d have never gotten a charge. Now, the bed was super comfy. Check out was a breeze. I had left a phone and only noticed later on. I called to see if they could send it home, but they could not. I risked my flight and returned to pick it up. I was really glad.

Room was dirty, linens had hair, squeaky bed, cold bad quality breakfast. We liked friendly and accommodating staff.

We had roaches in the room, the furniture was falling apart, the toilet was clogged the entire time of our stay and the property was not that clean. I usually stay at la quintas and out of all my experiences this was by far the worst. I really hope management/corporate starts to pay extra attention to this property because it is a real bad look for this chain.

The initial impression was not good. It’s in a shady neighborhood and has lots of vehicle traffic. The checkin process was too long (it’s puzzling why the desk clerk stares at a computer screen for seemingly an eternity). Then we were told the elevator could not be used, because of construction. Hey, we’re old! Stairs ain’t easy! If I’d have known, I would have gone to another motel. Thankfully, our room was like new! New flooring, new furniture, new everything! Kinda saved the day!
