Wyndham Pitts has got to be commended for its central location and unblocked view of the Three River confluence, at a great price! Check in was smooth and travel to other parts of the city was very easy, with various amenities like 24h convenience stores and jazz bars within walking distance. One could also walk to the Andy Warhol museum through the majestic Three Sisters bridges and also the Duquesne Incline for a breathtaking view of the city. And finally the pool has a great view. One could probably only complain about the aging furnishes with some cracked or *****ped wooden sections of the walls, and I thought it would be nicer to have a kettle in the room.

Was coming to town for baseball games at PNC park. Hotel is about a 15 minute walk to fields. Arrived at noon and the check in was smooth. You need your room key card to go up In elevator. Stayed on 17th floor with city view, could see a little of the Clemente bridge and PNC park. The hallway had a musty smell, room was clean, just a few cosmetic things. Didn’t feel like the AC was working very well. The maid service respects the door hanger and won’t bother you. I didn’t drive or park but valet prices were a little steep.if was to come back for another sporting event, I would stay there again.

Location is great. Walking distance to so many attractions. Great helpful staff.

The Wyndham grand is in a great location. Walk to the stadiums, close to market square and easy to access. We’ve stayed there several times and never have any complaints

You almost caused us to miss our plane. First, the wake up call never happened. So we had eight minutes to catch a car to the airport scheduled by the hotel. You guess it, the cab never showed! Frantically, we found out own taxi, and drove to the airport without so much as a shower, or even a tooth brushing!!! No room service , no take out service in the restaurant, 20 minute wait for a cup of coffee at breakfast. No maid service, no microwave, and no refrigerator (even though we requested in our reservation comments for my wife's medications). And small things. I am from Florida, and was excited to watch some of the Friday night Pirate game at the bar. Even though I was the only one there, the bartender would not turn up the volume loud enough to hear the game. She said she can't, because the music was playing. When I pointed out there was no music playing, she just walked away. In summary, the worst experience we have ever had staying downtown. I should get a refund, if you ask me. Don Feeney

This was a perfect stay for our needs. Clean rooms, very friendly, stunning view of the city, and helpful staff, easy check in and convenient location for our needs. We will ne back.

We wanted a hotel that was centrally located to all the things that we planned to do and found this hotel spectacularly located. The staff and service was too notch and the place was clean and all the employees that we met were friendly.

Nice location,food close by,good view.The bathroom was a good size,had coffee in the room,the Starbucks downstairs was convienet .

We were in Pittsburgh for a Pitt football game and to see our son. The location of the hotel is excellent! It is within walking distance of the sport stadiums and so many excellent restaurants. The rooms are small and a bit outdated and worn, and I thought it was odd that there was not a mini frig. Our bathroom sink was leaking and caused a bit of a flood. Maintenance arrived immediately, but the issue could not be fixed, so we had to pack up and move rooms at midnight. Actually this worked out in our favor, we were moved to a large corner room with beautiful views of the rivers, stadiums and city. I also found it odd that there was no housekeeping service provided. Overall, based on location and cost I would stay here again.

We had an amazing stay here! Great location right in the city of Pittsburgh. The view from our room on the 10th floor was great. It’s an old hotel, but with beautiful renovations done! The lobby and ballrooms are gorgeous, and as far as the guest floors and rooms go, you can tell the hotel is dated but extremely nice! They have 6 elevators, which was great considering the enormous amount of people there that weekend (2 weddings and a conference in the same weekend) and they were the fastest elevators I’ve ever been on! The parking is valet only, which was fine for us but I could see how some would prefer not to have valet due to cost($38/night, larger vehicles cost more). We will absolutely be staying here every trip to Pittsburgh!!

Hotel is in a great location! We were able to walk to sporting events and concert venues as well as local restaurants and bars with ease. The hotel decor is a bit outdated but the bed was comfortable and the entire room was clean. I guess the only downside was the paper thin walls….we could hear EVERYTHING.
