"This hotel is on Fifth Avenue, a 15-20 minute walk from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). The hotel consists of two century-old villas. We stayed on the third floor of one of the smaller villas, with a pitched roof, somewhat like an attic. There's no elevator; you have to walk up the stairs. The advantage was staying in an old building and seeing what wealthy American homes looked like back then. The price was reasonable. The disadvantages were that the air conditioning was too cold and couldn't be turned off manually; even hotel staff couldn't operate it, so we were freezing for two days. It was also quite noisy. Also, being near the street, it wasn't particularly quiet due to traffic noise in the mornings and evenings. Staying in the attic with the pitched roof made me feel like I couldn't stand up straight. It's worth experiencing once, but I don't plan to stay here again. The bathroom cabinet was dusty when I touched it; it's not cleaned daily."

Omni William Penn Hotel

"Very average hotel. It was once one of the most luxurious hotels in Pittsburgh, but it's been in serious decline. There was almost no service, the phone in the room didn't work (you had to go downstairs to get room service), and the cleanliness was average (there were even stains on the sheets). The shops and restaurants inside the hotel are almost closed. It snowed heavily when we checked in, and we couldn't go out during the day. As a result, there was no food in such a big hotel (only one bar was still open)! Finally, due to the overall design of this hotel, almost all the windows in the basic room types are inward facing (the window is opposite a wall), which makes it a bit claustrophobic."

"Pittsburgh is a truly wonderful city to visit with so much to do. Hotel Monaco is right in the heart of it and an easy walk to the hop on hop off your bus and sporting venues. The tour bus is particularly good as it will take you to up to 21 different stops / spots in Pittsburgh. Hotel Monaco is next to an excellent Italian restaurant. The hotel room service was food and arrived quickly. The Biergarden on the roof and the free drinks for guests from 5 - 6pm daily are both nice touches. I cannot recommend a trip to Pittsburgh highly enough."

"The room was very nice, the location was convenient with easy access to transportation and parking, and it wasn't far from the city center. The breakfast was also good with a wide variety of options. It was good value for money, and the front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming."

"Located on the University of Pittsburgh campus, about 1,500 meters from Carnegie Mellon University. Next to the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial. The hotel is good overall. Clean, no odor. The shower water is good, with great water pressure. The bedding is comfortable, and I got a good rest!"

"The location is great, there are many restaurants around and it's close to attractions. Parking is also convenient. There is a parking lot opposite the hotel. Self-parking costs $12 for one night. The lobby is on the 2nd floor. The hotel rooms are beautifully decorated and have good facilities. Very satisfied 👍"
