The all inclusive service is very good, however the buffet doesn’t have many options to choose from and the poolside bar only serves cocktails with less than 1% of alcohol in them.

The hotel is an older hotel. The location is great for access to the beach and walk around 5th Ave. The bartenders and the travel shop/scuba shop were great the hotel maintenance and front desk staff were not the best. We did have issues with our rooms and they were fixed eventually except the king room
that we booked was not available and we had to share a double bed. Iit’s an older hotel with musty smells and stuck drawers. The pool closed early on a Saturday night (8pm) but the mariachi/karaoke can play until 11pm and the noise will carry into the room. The kelp on the beach is filled with sand fleas and we came home with over 100 sand flea bites between the 5 of us. The buffet was ok but not worth $45 per day per person.

Overall was a clean resort, except for the seaweed. Did not like how it was no all inclusive so we had to pay for a food package when we arrived. Entertainment at night was good, and activities during the day like volleyball was fun. My friend and I went in June so the resort was no very busy, which was awesome, basically got the beach to ourselves most days.

The food was not pleasant they had everything inclusive but it was nasty not too many choices for kids either and the time share ppl waste half your day smh there was this smell around the hotel and rooms like fishy odor like the water in the sink and the shower smelled bad

dead fly's and bugs in the pool water... HOTEL BEACH FULL OF GREEN WEEDS IN THE BEACH WATER. THE BEACH IS 3 COLORS GREEN AND LIGHT GREEN AND NORMAL BLUE WATER IN THE MIDDLE DUE TO THE WEEDS. LOOKING AT THE PICS WHEN I BOOKED MY TICKET VS WHAT I ARRIVED TOO I REALLY REGRET IT!!! DID NOT ENJOY MY VACATION AT ALL!

This is probably the 5th all inclusive resort that my wife and I stayed, usually when the price is lower than the average I'm a little skeptical and I always tried to book at the higher end of the average price, but I gave a try at this one (lower end price) and did not regret! You can save some money and stay in this hotel which has a great layout with rooms close to the pool, beach and restaurants inside the hotel, plus quiet rooms so you can sleep just fine! Staff is amazing and always willing to help and serve. Don't expect either to have a Michelin start restaurant, it's an all inclusive, and every one that I have been (all different) the buffet food is good enough for me, and the fancy restaurant part of the all inclusive has more quality and better food.
We also had a noise at the A/C, but we talked with the front desk in the morning, and by afternoon they fixed it!
Overall a great experience, and recommend!
ps. they have a company inside the hotel that will try to sell a membership program to you, if you not willing to do it, just say no (they will be persistent, but hold your ground!) and save you some time. Wife and I, fall for that because we thought it was a meeting to buy some park tickets that we wanted to go (Xel-há and Xcaret), at the end we didn't buy the membership but lost almost half day talking with the agency....

Rooms are outdated. Beds and pillows were super uncomfortable and hard as rocks. Food at the buffet and restaurants were not good so although we paid for the all-inclusive, we ate out most meals. Staff is not very friendly and are super slow and ignore you, especially when you tell them you aren't interested in their time share sales pitch. We refused to waste hours of our vacation listening to them so they weren't very friendly after that. The mini fridge in the room was on the closet floor and it was too big for the space so we couldnt open the fridge door unless we literally took the fridge out of the closet, which is absurd! The bathroom sink and toilet had a constant sewage smell of rotten eggs which was awful! The entire place needs updating. The entertainment is pretty terrible and almost non-existent. The poolside host, Boris, always had a grumpy face and acted like he owned the place. He was only talkative to people who had the timeshare band on their wrist. Not worth upgrading to the premium package because the bartenders dont give you top shelf unless you ask for it, which shouldnt have to happen and unless you tip them well they dont serve you quickly or pour a good drink. Do not stay in the rooms above the lobby because they are super noisy! You have all the drunks at the bar yelling andyou hear all the staff yelling at visitors about time shares to try to get their attention so stay away from rooms like 2830, 2831.
