Beach Hotels in Playa Hermosa

We stayed at the Hotel Tramonto from Feb 13 to Feb 22, 2023. I cannot begin to praise this hotel enough. It is a small hotel across the street from the beach, with a pool, restaurant, outdoor patio and clean spacious rooms. The entire staff at this hotel were very acomodating to make our stay most memorable. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast which was very good, as well as all day dining with a fantastic menu and excellent prices. We were in Room 119 with a pool view and very convenient for us, especially since I have a bad knee and needed to be as close to everything as possible. The Housekeeping Staff kept our room immaculate. The entire hotel was also very clean. The Reception and Restaurant Staff were always most welcoming. We had dinner most nights at the hotel with our daughter and boyfriend who recommended that we stay here. It is a 10 minute drive to Jaco. We were very happy choosing Hotel Tramonto, and will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Costa Rica. . I am SO glad I did not book in Jaco. We drove down the main drag on our way in, and it was so depressing and uninviting. Driving 4K down the road to this place was a relief. On a quiet little road running up from a wild beach, it is a clean little oasis with a sparkling pool and cheery rooms Breakfast is good, and the managers are friendly. A good value! Went up the road TWICE for sushi so never had to go into Jaco again.
