A hotel searched on the Internet, the facilities are complete, the rooms are spacious, the price is good, the quality is good, the port is very close to the port of Douglas, the surrounding food and beverage supermarkets are all available, the whole is value-for-money, satisfactory. However, as a high-scoring hotel, there is still a gap in service. I haven't cleaned the room for two nights. Indeed, I have come back for a day, and I haven't moved in the room. I wonder if there is a rule to live without having to clean it? It doesn't matter, it's okay to clean up. I just told the front desk in advance that I had to leave the store at 7.30 in the morning of the second day, but the next morning at 7.30, the front door and window of the reception hall were closed, no staff on duty could be found, no one answered the phone... The luggage was taken down, and It is inconvenient to throw it and then send the room card to the room. In desperation, the room card is stuffed from the door seam, and the reservation customer service is sent to inform the check-out email... The result is unknown. Fortunately, I only brushed a 10-knife credit guarantee when I checked in. It doesn't matter if I can't retreat...

My mum and I shared room 15. The configuration was perfect for us, as it was actually 2 rooms with a common entrance opened up, so Mum was able to have 15B to herself. This meant she not only had her own bedroom, but her own bathroom, kitchenette, veranda, outdoor chairs and table, spa, sun lounge and pool ladder! I was in 15A (a double room in itself) and we used its much larger lounge, kitchen (full size with dishwasher), veranda and spa as our common area. Both bathrooms have walk-in showers. The pool isn't heated but it was in the sun from early morning so, even in August, I found the water plenty warm enough. It's always beautifully clean too, without noticeable chlorine, only slightly salty, good mix. Excellent location, next door to Zinc restaurant and bar, which is on the corner of Davidson and Macrossan Street. Short stroll to the beach. If you're not able to manage the walk all the way down Macrossan St to the inlet, there is a great shuttle bus service available (SR Coaches) to take you anywhere in Port Douglas for a fixed price of $8 one way or $14 return. Just call their mobile number to tell them where you are and they'll be there in a flash.

We were disappointed when we first arrived at the property. It looked much nicer online, and we didn't feel it was worth the money. It's run down and needs some TLC. Our room was a 3-bedroom self-contained unit. It was spacious and neat, but the bathrooms were disgusting. I would expect bathrooms like that if I stayed at a caravan park. It needs a significant update. There is no mini-bar or lift to the second floor where we stayed. Two young girls were assigned to bring our luggage to our room, but they struggled with our heavy bags, and my husband and 17-year-old son had to help them and bring them up. The same thing happened when we checked out. The poor girl couldn't push the trolley with the luggage, and my husband ended up pushing it for her. The buffet breakfast is average. Not worth $45. The staff are all backpackers. The service could have been better. We would have tried to find a nicer hotel if we hadn't paid upfront. The only saving grace was the swimming pool. Although it also needs a revamp, it was a great pool, and the kids liked it. We wouldn't stay here again.

The hotel is very far away. In Douglas Town, we went to Cairns by boat for an hour. I am a Platinum Member of Marriott. Sheraton gave me a wine and it was said that the room type was upgraded. But they told me I was not a Platinum member, wasn't it funny? The hotel facilities are good, the scenery is very beautiful, the swimming pool is very large, parking is free, and there are golf courses, but the hotel is located in a tropical rain forest, there are a lot of bugs, and there are cockroaches and small flying insects everywhere in the corridor. It will be stinging, the room is still quite large, and the bathroom is also large. If the hotel can pay attention to cleanliness, the business should be better, which is not comparable to the Gold Coast Sheraton. In addition, I want to tell people who live here not to go to a Chinese restaurant called Jadeinn in Douglas. The owner ’s 10,000-percent Hong Kong independence is simply not dead. If you like to spend all day in the hotel, can recommend this

From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. The couple at the front desk could not have been more helpful and were really friendly. They marked on a map all the places of interest and close places to eat. Our unit was such a welcome surprise, large and spacious and fully equipped with everything you need for a stay. The beds were so comfortable . We had tables and chairs outside to relax and have a drink. The pool was great and easily accessible. It is a little way out of town so is lovely and quiet and only about 10 minutes from Port Douglas. Its a short walk to the beach. I have no negatives for our stay and if I ever return I shall stay here again.

I didn't pay attention when booking the room. Fortunately, I arrived at the hotel during working hours. The front desk told me that two adults and one child could not stay in a standard room. I needed to pay extra for a one-bedroom apartment. The price was reasonable at $100 for 2 nights. The one-bedroom apartment was really good, with a large bathroom, washing machine and dryer, and a simple kitchen. I bought breakfast at the supermarket and had a very rich breakfast. The whole hotel is actually an independent community, with villas, studios, and apartments. Parking is free, the environment is very good, very quiet, and a good place for vacation.

Excellent
This was the best place for a family holiday. We were an extended family and the owners treated us so well, helping to accomodate 4 separate families. Throughout our time here, we experienced comfortable, spacious accomodation, friendly staff and a great swimming pool. The location is perfect to access all the great experiences North Queensland has to offer. Mossman Gorge close by. Only 20 minutes to Port Douglas for reef tours or a night out. We have really happy memories of our week here.
GGuest UserThe surrounding environment is wonderful. All the facilities in the room were new and clean. It was nice to be able to check in immediately after showing the reserved copy.
Excellent hotel - superior service quality. This hotel is really to be recommended: just across the promenade to the beach, nice breakfast included from 7 am - 2pm (!). Breakfast to go for early departure. Towels & beach chairs & sun umbrellas, nice swimming pool area, filtered water to go & ice cubes, bicycles, washing & drying facility including washing liquid for free, it offers simply everything. We have stayed at Australia for 4 weeks, travelling along 4-5 star hotels, and this was outstanding. Take a studio with sea view - and enjoy sun rise/set every day. Enjoy the lovely beach and water for swim, and the amazing view fro the hotel. By the way: we booked a snorkelling tour by ABC Snorkel company, a business offering small tours guided by marine biologists per 6-persons each group. Well done.
Location means you can walk everywhere. Service was responsive, warm and helpful. Free use of laundry was great, $2 charge for detergent but I took our own. Apartment was spacious, spotless and blessedly free of a heavy handed list of house rules.
PPaulA nice hotel a little way out of town (25 min walk or 5 mins with a transport service), and a little less to 4 mile beach. They had a decent sized pool and the room was clean and a good size. Friendly staff who were happy to look after bags after checkout so I could go out for the day close to the wildlife habitable
GGuest UserBooking our stay at the Coral Beach Lodge was a bit of a last minute thing and I must say that I was a bit dubious about the communal kitchen, but I was pleasantly surprised. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and our room was clean and a good size, which included an outdoor table and 2 chairs outside the sliding door at the back of the room. The pool was lovely! There was also a table tennis table and a pool table which we had a few games on. The communal kitchen was great as everyone was friendly and chatty with each other. I think this may be a back packers place as there were a lot of young travelers there. We did plan a barbecue for that night though, but the gas bottle was empty so we cooked it in the kitchen. They are building a bar there but it won't be ready until April. Overall, a nice place to stay and was only $99 for the night.
Our family of 5, including three teenagers stayed for 5 night at this hotel: What we liked: Location: although on the main road to lovely Port Douglas, it has a short back pathway to the superb 4-miles beach. 15' walk to most restaurants, shops, marina, cafes. This said we drove around Family room was spacious enough for five. There was also a kitchenette and kitchen ware. Well working air conditioning and ceiling fans Nice curvy pool beautifully embedded into the hotel courtyard. Plus a jacuzzi our kids loved. Not really a pool for swimming but very relaxing and very appreciated by children around i noticed. Funnily enough, in spite of how exposed it was to the pool area and the other rooms around, our room was quiet. Available and free parking in the garage Things that need improvement: On arrival in the evening we were given a room on the basement that did not correspond to our booking months before for a room with a nice pool view. The reception was not able to solve the issue that evening. We complained to the manager and she organised the change of rooms the following morning. Thank you Karisa! To our surprise, the room was not serviced during our 5-day stay. When we asked on day 2 we were told that it was at an extra cost. I do not remember having read about that on the Accor web site when booking. A change of towels is only offered for stays of + 4 nights. Given the cost of the stay and that we eat out and therefore we do not use the kitchen, not having the family room cleaned is suboptimal. The safe box needs an extra key from the reception to be operational. Not sure if that is for free or a paid service. Bathrooms and amenities are adequate. We cannot comment on breakfast as we did not try it. There is a tennis court and a small fitness room too, but we did not use those either.
QQIThe environment is good, there are standard resort scenery, pool, pool table, bar are OK. At night, the lights under the swimming pool are dim, and it feels very suitable for the swimsuits to line up, but unfortunately the pool is not open at night. Health, the overall facilities are not bad. In the evening, the hotel restaurant can order some western food, and the price and taste are not bad. The only thing that is inconvenient is that the traffic is not convenient. If you want to go out for dinner and need to walk for more than half an hour, the hotel can also help to call the bus, but it is still not convenient.
