It's a bit of a walk up a rocky slope from the train station, but it's close, about 10 to 12 minutes away. If the carrier is heavy, it may be a bit difficult. It's about 5 to 10 minutes away from major hot spots, and it's small and clean. The wooden floor in the room and the tile floor in the bathroom were clean and nice to the touch, so I walked around barefoot. I was very tired at the end of the trip, but I quickly felt relieved after three warm showers. The welcome drink and homemade crepes for breakfast were also fun. The friendly female staff member gave me some recipes and gave my son a thumbs up, saying he looked like a professional chef. The bright smiles and greetings of the counter and restaurant staff are also impressive. It was a double room, and there was an extra bed similar to a sofa near the entrance, so I used it as both a bed and a sofa. I'm not sensitive to sound, so I think I could hear the sound of wheels rolling on the stone floor and the sound of rain all night long. I found this place in a hurry while traveling, and it was the cheapest with breakfast included, so I was most satisfied with the accommodations I stayed for 13 days. I've never written a review before, so I'm writing this review~

Quite large hostel. It has many amenities but doesn’t really convey the hostel vibe. There isn’t really any common area aside for the kitchen and reception area as the huge inner garden is actually a restaurant. We have been kicked out the picnic tables multiple times even though our room is adjacent to the garden, we couldn’t even just sit and read without ordering anything. We were a bit disappointed by the welcoming drink activity as the staff just brought the people together, brought a pitcher of some cocktail and left us to entertain ourselves. The kitchen was quite dirty ever time we went as well. It seemed like the other people staying here didn’t really take care of it but it didn’t seem like anyone from the staff was going to check either. We stayed in a 4-bed room which was clean enough but kept the humidity inside a lot. The curtains and ceiling were dirty or moldy, not really sure. The place is ok, we were expecting more of a Selina.

We stayed at this hotel on a bed and breakfast basis for 7 nights. The hotel was modern and clean, staff were very helpful. The room was cleaned daily and products restocked. The location was perfect for us as situated close to motorway. We had a hire car for the week so the hotel car park was great for us. Burger King was next door so handy if wanted a quick coffee day or night. The hotel does have a bar. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, alongside a full continental selection. I recommend this hotel, we would certainly stay there again.

Great location close to the Metro, although a bit noisy as there is construction outside and a barking next door. The rooms are tiny with minimal amenities. This is not a 4 star hotel as our package promised. Just a heads up, they charge you for extra coffee pods. Staff here is professional and very helpful-they wear many hats! They helped us book an amazing tour. Walking distance to shopping, an amazing indoor food court, and grocery stores. The breakfast room is very nice, and has good selections.

Great hotel. Has everything going for it. Breakfast good choice. Room good size . All amenities. House staff lovely and helpful. Restaurant excellent, worthwhile booking to ensure a seat. Spa and indoor pool very relaxing.

This is my second times to be here in Porto I know this hotel is new this year and everything seems very perfect for me, the environment, the service from the reception, the attitude for from all the colleges as it belongs to Marriott group I can confirm the hotel level is satisfactory to the group, but the most critical point for me is the water flow from the tap in the washing basin and also the showerhead. It’s extremely slow and nearly to 0 I had a really bad experience when I took a shower, and also when I would like to wash something from the washing basin  I feel a pity for it I hope next time the hotel can improve it otherwise, I will not take my 3rd time here

Typical of the Portuguese Hotels we have had on our Bunnik tour on the Portuguese leg. Stairs and no ramp to get suitcases into the hotel and a bit if a shortage of staff to help. No tea and coffee or free water in the room only one free plug on one side of a double bed. Our bathroom toiletries was a shower cap but there were squeeze bottles of shower gel,shampoo and bath gel attached to the shower. Only one glass in the room although we were in a room for couples; there were 2 small ones in the bathroom. The tiny glasses allowed you to have some water to brush your teeth so you don't bang your head on the overhead cupboard mirror which is totally unnecessary since it doesn't hold anything. The basin was so shallow that you dare not leave it running long. There was a bidet if you need one, otherwise it just takes up valuable bathroom realestate. One of the few hotels without a pool and reliable WiFi in our room. No news in English. but old movies overdubbed in Portuguese. I was told that they were working on upgrading their WiFi. On the plus side, the room was clean, breakfast was plentiful with a good range of food. Thr staff as helpful as as was possible. The area is good for access to art galleries and eateries.

No apto para nómadas digitales - El peor hostal del mundo – Cafetería con camas. No reserve en este sitio si no quiere pasar un mal Rato. Las fotos engañan, este sitio solo tiene una decoración bonita, muestra espacios que son prácticamente exclusivos para un café-restaurante que funciona ahí, esta es una muy mala elección para aloj****, si piensas trabajar o hacer amigos en el hostal o simplemente pasar el día allí descansando. Como viajera frecuente, Estas son algunas de las razones para decir que es un pésimo hostal: • Las literas suenan con cada movimiento. • Las almohadas son incomodas. • No tienen cocina, ni siquiera un microondas o calentador de agua. • La comida en la cafetería es cara y pocas opciones. • Hay ruido exterior en las noches, por la calle y la cafetería del primer piso. • No hay zonas sociales para los huéspedes (Es un café restaurante, para todo público). • No se pueden utilizar ninguna mesa para trabajar (Todas tienen un letrero prohibiéndolo). • Te mandan a trabajar a un patio descubierto y si se llena el restaurante te van a retirar de allí. • En el patio exterior no es buena la señal de internet. • El patio es húmedo y está lleno de moscas. • Solo hay un baño en la habitación con ducha para 6 personas. • No hay baño exterior compartido con duchas. • Quien es aparentemente la dueña o administradora, hace mala cara, al verlo a uno trabajando en las instalaciones y tiene muy mala actitud mueve a los huéspedes que están trabajando de un lado a otro. • Los empleados contestan grosero y no están prestos a colaborar. • Fuera de la cama no tienen ninguna atención con el huésped. • No es seguro dejar las cosas en las mesas porque todo el tiempo esta entrando gente de la calle. La peor opción para hospedarte en Oporto.

I cannot begin to say enough good things about this hostel. First off, I was in Porto for a little more than 3 weeks and stayed here the whole time. This hostel is incredibly clean with Lucia (owner) and her staff working very hard to keep it this way. The rooms are clean and boast large steel lockers to store valuables and personal items. There is amazing communal spaces, including outdoor patio and garden with plenty of seating. The kitchen is a decent size and is well stocked with the supermarket being only a few blocks down the street. There is a free (basic) breakfast that consists of juice, cereal, fresh buns and jams.This all said, it is the staff that make this hostel extra special. I actually had a few of the staff take me out and share some of their favourite spots with me, which included watching the sunset from the Palacio de Cristal. Overall, I would recommend and would gladly plan a trip back in the future myself.
