We have just returned from holiday with mixed emotions. The complex/hotel was not suitable for electric wheelchair users although, the hotel advertise it caters for disabled. Tui only state the hotel is built on a hill. Being in an electric chair, inclines are not a problem however, within the complex itself it’s crazy paved paths, steps and hills all around made it treacherous and inaccessible in most areas. It appeared difficult for pushchairs too with parents lifting babies up and down steps. After a 15 hour wait and three inaccessible rooms later we were finally offered a room that was half suitable with 2 steps to negotiate. The room was a decent size however, the windows were dirty. Inside kitchen cupboards smelt awful. The set of drawers in the room also stank of damp so we weren’t able to use them without spraying inside daily to prevent clothing stinking. Although the room was up to four people it was equipped for three. Outside the Weeds were knee high, bald grass on the garden area with a dripping pipe making a bog. Overgrown hedges and shrubs. Opposite us and separated by a road was the dump full of waste, abandoned beds chairs etc etc. litter and plastic bottles littering the bushes. From the room there was no view whatsoever. On entrance to the hotel the Restaurant, gym and quiet pool looked very appealing. The hotel could do with the similar touch throughout the complex. If you are drawn to the hotel for kids slides there are age and height restrictions. Snack bar was ok for kids. The restaurant food was plentiful. Clean environment. Night time entertainment was repetitive although, Annabelle is a good singer. There is no shop on site and not one close by, Staff were very friendly and hard working apart from 2. One was witnessed laughing when approached about parking over the only dropped curb on site. Late checkout fee of 70 euro was wavered because we stressed the 15 hours waiting for a room on arrival was unacceptable. Our daughter was shown a room prior to our arrival and agreed it was suitable. The manager although very nice on face value was arrogant and rude when challenged because he was responsible for reallocated the accessible room before we arrived. He raised his voice and hand gestured for me to go sit down. He was responsible for getting our holiday off to a bad start, well done you! His smarminess and smiles are a front to lure potential holiday makers back. Cyprus is a beautiful place and we’re not put off by our experience here however, this hotel is not for us. A note worth remembering is the taxi prices. After a long walk to and along the ***** we used taxis to get back up the steep hill. It cost between 15 and 18 euro.

This resort is truely amazing, not only are the facilities within the resort amazing, the staff are especially friendly and so helpful. The manager Φλουρής (Flouris) was fantastic, made us feel very welcome. Another major hit for me was the food, as someone who is allergic to egg and milk and an epipen user, the chef made sure everything was kept separate for me, walked me through all the dishes and any potential areas of cross contamination... very impressed! On top of that, the food itself is nothing like I've ever had before at a hotel, absolutely outstanding! Lastly a huge shoutout to the entertainment team, made the activities during the day so much fun, kids would love the activities pool and evening activities, and the adults can escape to the quiet pool if they wish... Would go back in a heartbeat, thank you everyone!!

I arrived at the st Ellias resort in protaras on the 29th August 2024 upon arrival we were greeted by a male receptionist who whilst checking us in told us we had mixed our luggage up with someone else at the airport. He then very professionally handled the situation and even got the manger involved and they got the problem sorted. To me and my family this was good news. The next day are holiday began I am not just saying this but this is one of best hotels I have stayed in on the island of Cyprus and I have been coming here for 35 years . The food was good the entertainment was not bad always something going on. The staff of all grades were polite and curtious . Some of the alcohol drinks were premium brand and made however you asked . The protaras ***** is about ten minutes walk away. But during the day there is a small bus that takes you down free of charge lovely touch. And well done ST Ellias and hopefully see you next year.

Just returned from a fantastic family holiday. The hotel is great, well maintained, very relaxing and only a short 10 minute walk into Protaras. I've never been to a hotel with such friendly staff, they genuinely care and want you to enjoy your stay, such nice people who couldn't do enough for you. The food was amazing, loads of positive comments on Tripadvisor from other guests and it's absolutely true, loads of choice, freshly prepared, quality produce, 5 star standard. Our room was spacious, comfy beds and decent air conditioning (which was definitely required). If you don't want a big high rise hotel with a mad dash for sunbeds every morning then I strongly recommend this place. Thanks for a great holiday!

Wow- where to start! We have just left St Elias after the most wonderful 10-night stay with our toddler. This was by far the most special all-inclusive stay we’ve ever experienced, and will most certainly return. What really makes this resort is the staff, who cannot do enough for you. They were all so hardworking, friendly and kind to our daughter. The service was impeccable. The next is the food, which was out of this world. As vegetarians we are sometimes a little stuck, but here we were spoilt for choice. So fresh, beautifully presented, so much variety. Without a doubt the best I’ve come across at an AI. Do also try the meze restaurant that you can visit as part of your AI package- the meal was fantastic & it’s just so lovely to see the pride that the chefs take in their work. Our room (108) was spacious, clean and had a sea view. The cleaner came every day. It was well sound-proofed & the bed was so comfy. All three of us slept very well! We walked into town and to the beach/promenade a few times, which is definitely doable (even with pram etc), but the shuttle bus is great to have. We loved how the hotel was just far away enough from town to feel like a peaceful oasis. The grounds are so beautiful. We also enjoyed being able to move between a quieter pool & one with slides/toddler splash pool (both with a bar). The only small thing we’d have liked is some more resistance equipment in the gym, as it is almost all cardio. Apart from that, an absolutely perfect stay and we cannot wait to return. Do not hesitate to book- you won’t regret it! They were so lovely with our daughter,

We are just back from a week at St Elias Resort in Protaras, Cyprus. This was our first time on this type of a package holiday and it did not disappoint. We found Cyprus to be hot but manageable due to the pool and the people. We would definitely return but try to find a cooler part of the year. Temperatures ranged from 32-37 each day. St Elias Resort was a beautiful hotel with stone walk ways, private studios and two pools. An interactive pool up top with slides and activities plus a ‘quieter’ pool below. We resided in the less active pool below with chilled music. Our family of 4 had two teenagers who just wanted to throw a ball in the pool and relax. So this was the perfect choice for us. This pool can become busy but families are respectful of the reduced noise and chilled atmosphere. The top pool has a fantastic atmosphere with activities planned for all ages. We enjoyed aqua gym, waterpolo, spoon diving and the slides a few days. The entertainment team work very hard for all ages. Things that made this holiday for us…. ❤️ The families we met. The entertainment team. The girls work very hard and are not pushy at all. They genuinely made us feel soo welcome. Special shout out to the entertainer and DANCER SOFIA. Simply beautiful inside and out! She flies the Greek flag so well! The bar staff. Shout outs to YASSER, ANDREA & JANI. Nothing was too much and they smiled every day! THE FOOD! You will have read in other reviews about the food. The salads, the choices and even our teenagers tried some new foods. A definite highlight of our week and‍ CHEF KOPRAS served delicious options each breakfast, lunch and dinner. We are new converts to all inclusive. Shout out to REDA, AHMED 7 and ALENA who served us with big smiles and kindness each day. Arrival at reception. We arrived late on the Thursday night. We were met by the wonderful AHMED 1 who took us to our room. The fridge had some late night snacks, perfect for us. Our son however was ‘hangry’ and so we asked Ahmed if there was anything more he could eat. He arrived with a massive plate of gorgeous leftovers from dinner. Fantastic service! The local church at sunset. Top tip walk the back way from the hotel to avoid the steps & take a ribbon/money with you. ️ The *****. The Hansel and Gretel shop is a nice treat for ice cream and something different. Shops cater for typical tourists and we all found something to purchase! There is a shuttle bus from the hotel during the day but due to the heat we walked at night (10/15mins). A taxi is 10 euros each way. Hotel facilities were excellent! A big thank you to assistant manager FLOURIS who sorted out a late check out for us which enabled us to enjoy a full last day by the pool. He was always so generous with his time and nothing was too much to ask. Excellent customer service. There is also a Spa at the hotel which my husband had a great massage in. Shout out to NOAH. St Elias thank you for a rich and relaxing stay! Blessed!

A little late writing this review… I attended in June with my friend and my son who is in a wheelchair, and I can honestly say this is one of the best all inclusive holidays I have been on. My son (fussy eater) never went hungry, always something that he could eat, and the jelly shots went down a treat! The staff are absolutely fantastic, nothing is ever too much to them, caring and friendly! Always ensured Riley was ok and having a great time, the lifeguards took him down the slides and any issues we had the manager was quick to sort. This hotel may have not been the most accessible for him, but the staff were always there willing to offer a helping hand. One of the best hotels we have been to in protaras and looking to return this September already!

We are home a week today so thought I would share a review of our time there as a family of 4‍‍‍ We stayed in a 1 bed apartment, rooms were big, comfy beds & everything you could need there. The one thing we would change next time would be to request a room, have seen lots of others through this page that had lovely views/balconies & closer to the pool, ours was no.24, right at the back of the resort, up quite alot of steps/ramps. The food was amazing! Good quality & freshly made We are plain eaters & quite fussy & loved everything! Very different from other all inclusive resorts where you get bored of the food after a few days! Highly recommend Meze, the food & service was amazing & our kids loved the kids meals! Drinks were great such a big choice compared to other all inclusive, the cocktail list is massive & we tried every one of them good quality spirits & beer! Entertainment was great, lots of poolside activities through the day, minidisco & shows at nightime, all the girls that run the entertainment are so talented! our youngest went to the kids club every day & sometimes twice, she just loved the girls that took it Staff are really what stands this hotel out from others! Every single staff member we came across couldn't do enough to help & were so friendly. This all inclusive resort is the first we've been too that has no additional extras or hidden costs. Could go and not spend a penny the whole time you are there! Highly recommend booking Ayia Trias Cruises boat trip, Organisation was top class, picked up straight from hotel & returned after our day out. We went on the 4hr trip with lunch included. The boat was spotless, great music & beautiful views & swim spots. Lunch was also superb the highlight of our trip was seeing a sea turtle towards the end of our day, the captain got us so close too & even let the trip run a little over time just so we could all enjoy it Thankyou St Elias, hopefully not too long before we are back

Brilliant place and somewhere I would totally recommend. The bar staff, lifeguards and general staff couldn’t do enough for you. The food is great and there are 2 pools one is called the splash pool and the quiet one by reception. The splash pool has 3 decent size slides and they are great 10/10
