It was an exceptionally nice place to stay the staff were very helpful and kind. The location is amazing, with beautiful gardens and architecture. We enjoyed the plentiful breakfast and the service.

The hotel is convenient for an overnight stop before going to the port for our Brittany Ferries sailing back to the UK. Lovely historic hotel, good secure parking and a short drive to the Santander ferryport.

We were looking for a hotel which was quiet, luxurious and welcoming for our last night of our holiday- and that’s exactly what we had here. The rooms are massive, comfortable and traditional with a wide range of original art both in the rooms and across the hotel itself. The hotel has a way of making you feel you are the only guests when you know you are not. We had the pool to ourselves - and the pool was big enough for a proper swim. The food was excellent including the lovely breakfast. It was such a treat. Peaceful, beautiful and restful. And less than an hour from Bilbao airport or closer if you’re ferrying from Santander.

The hotel is 20-25 minutes from Santander ferry terminal which after an all day drive was close to allow easy access the following day. A peaceful paradise, great location, safe parking. Room was clean and very quiet.

Lovely hotel. Spacious and confortable room, I loved my bed (comfy). Good location, close to Brittany ferry port of Santander. Very friendly and helful staff. Everything about the hotel was great, would definitely recommend.

Ya habíamos estado hace unos años( entonces era Relais Chateau, ahora es un 4 estrellas muy bonito, camas grandes y muy cómodas con buenas sábanas. Habitación muy amplia , con baño que necesita un retoque, el jacuzzi ha conocido mejores tiempos, la terraza es bonita porque da al bosque. Los exteriores son muy agradables y muy bien cuidados. Bosque privado para pasear precioso Los desayunos muy ricos, zumo de naranja natural y café muy rico( cosa difícil en estos tiempos. Lo recomiendo y espero volver

Uno de los mejores hoteles en los que he estado. El edificio, una maravilla; la habitación, amplia y silenciosa; la cama, muy cómoda; el baño, grande y limpísimo. No comimos allí, sólo el desayuno, que era de lujo: buffet muy variado y lo que quisieras encargar a la cocina. Tiene una piscina preciosa pero no nos dio tiempo a usarla. Pero lo mejor de todo, el personal. Trato inmejorable sin agobiar pero dejándote claro que no eres un número. Experiencia de 10. A repetir.

100% recomendable! Es un hotel precioso, además el servicio es un lujo y es perfecto para relajarse y conocer Cantabria. 100% recomendable! Nosotros fuimos a conocer Santander, isla y Noja y fue la opción perfecta, porque está cerca de todo. Volveré sin duda!!

Pasamos 3 días de Semana Santa y sin duda fue una grata elección. Es un hotel precioso con mucho encanto en plena naturaleza, se encuentra muy bien comunicado para visitar Cabárceno, Santander, Santillana del Mar y otros lugares chulos de Cantabria. Reservamos una suite con dos supletorias para los niños y nos salió muy bien de precio para ser el tipo de hotel que es. La suite grandisima, con una terraza con vistas muy bonitas a la naturaleza y todo muy limpio. El personal encantador muy cercano y siempre con ganas de ayudar. Nos dieron buenos consejos sobre que y cuando visitar. Sin duda repetiremos hotel cuando volvamos a Cantabria!!!
