There is free parking, which is extremely cost-effective for self-driving. There is Carrefour next to it, it is more convenient to buy things, but there are not many places to eat around, mostly for fast food. The service was warm and the room was clean and tidy.

Very close to the high-speed rail station, convenient transportation. Clean and hygienic. Recommended to stay. Stop is also very convenient. The front desk will also speak English for me who will not speak Spanish. The room is a bit small, but quiet and comfortable.

Stayed for 2 nights on a room only basis. Spotlessly clean and very friendly staff. Rooms have a good mini fridge, and there is a kitchen next to Reception with a kettle, microwave, cutlery and crockery. Bus stop outside goes to the Alhambra for €1.40. Good selection of bars outside the hotel, and about a 10 minute stroll to the Cathedral, or Bib Rambla all on the flat. At the start of the narrow road to the hotel is a roundabout. Here is the Marquis’s sister hotel - great for breakfast. Scrambled eggs, bread, coffee and a large bowl of fruit & yogurt will set you up for the day for under €10. Just around the corner you can catch the C32 bus to Albaicin for €1.40. Lovely views going up a very steep climb. Get out at St Nicolas Square at the top. There are a couple of cafés next to the square where you can enjoy a coffee or beer, with the most amazing views of the Alhambra, then catch the bus or walk downhill (about 20 mins) back into the centre. We were worried about driving and parking in Granada, so we parked up in a little town outside of Granada, called El Fargue (coming in from Murcia), and caught the N8 bus in. Cost €1.40, and travels down the only main road through every hour, just after the hour, to Jardines del Triunfo, which is the other end of the main Gran Via de Colon - a 15 min flat stroll from the hotel, or a 5 min taxi ride. N8 bus returns to El Fargue from the same place at half past the hour. Saved the stress and expense of driving and parking in the City. Very successful. We will certainly do it again, and we will also stay at the Marquis Urban again.

A very nice apartment, very good location, with very complete kitchen, wifi, both bed and bathroom are comfortable, (attention in the bathroom to shower**** that the water comes out with much pressure and we are flooding the place). Note that you have to warn before you arrive, as there is no staff in the place and you leave the key in a code box.

For a four star hotel the restaurant was only 1 star which is why I marked it so low. We were only here for 2 nights which was long enough! We has dinner in the first night, what a mistake! There was a very poor choice of dishes, nothing was labelled so you had no idea what to choose. Staff were too slow to top up dishes. Breakfast was absolute chaos. Only 2 drinks machines with long queues at both. Poor selection of food that was not replenished quickly enough for volume of diners. Our room was acceptable but nothing special. The hotel is at the top of a steep hill with one or two shops a short walk away, but no bars and the drinks in the hotel are very expensive. The one thing close by is the Alhambra. There are also bus stops nearby along with the hop on, hop off train that goes around Granada. The hotel will order a taxi for you, around €5 down to the centre of Granada. The Alhambra is not to be missed and I'd recommend the train that goes around the city.

It's close to the station, but there are stairs at the entrance, so carrying a suitcase was a little troublesome. About location: Very convenient, quiet location, only five minutes walk to Columbus to meet Isabella.
