James Joyce Coffetel (Qingdao Zhanqiao Railway Station)

All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was a bit small but very clean. The location is fantastic, making it super convenient to get to Zhanqiao Pier, the church, and the pedestrian street. The restaurant is on the 9th floor, but you have to take the elevator to the 8th floor and then walk up about 1.5 flights of stairs to reach it. The laundry room is also on the 9th floor, and the washing machines aren't all-in-one wash and dry units; you have to transfer your clothes to a separate dryer after washing. In early March, we saw so many seagulls in Qingdao!

The room was clean and tidy, and they even upgraded our room since it was the off-season. The location is excellent, just across the street from Zhanqiao Pier and only 300m from St. Michael's Cathedral, which is super convenient. The service was great, thoughtful and attentive, and very friendly. I'll definitely be back to Qingdao, and I'll definitely stay here again! 🥰

I booked a room with a partial window, but the front desk upgraded me to a room with a full window. This hotel has a really retro vibe, and I love the decor. The hot Americano coffee was delicious. It's also super close to Zhanqiao Pier. Qingdao is definitely a city I want to keep revisiting.

I used to stay at James Joyce Coffetel for business trips quite often. This time, I came to see the seagulls at Zhanqiao Pier, and I'm still very happy with the hotel. James Joyce Coffetel truly delivers; you can't go wrong with it. The hotel is very close to Zhanqiao Pier and there's a subway station nearby, making it convenient for getting around.

This hotel boasts a fantastic location, just a five-minute walk to the pier. The room decor is cozy, and the bedding is wonderfully soft and comfortable. The breakfast offers a good variety of Chinese options, and the staff are incredibly warm and attentive. They even helped me store my luggage for free. My stay here was super comfortable and pleasant!

Got a free upgrade to a room with a window, and I was so happy with it! Even though the space was a bit small, the price was really budget-friendly. It's super close to all the attractions, which is really convenient! The lady at the front desk was also incredibly helpful. Definitely recommend!
