"recently stayed at this apartment and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The place was spotless, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The décor was modern yet cozy, and the apartment was equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay – from a fully stocked kitchen to fresh linens and fast Wi-Fi.
The location was perfect, close to shops, restaurants, and public transport, making it easy to explore the area. Despite being central, the apartment was very quiet at night, so I slept really well.
The host was also fantastic – responsive, friendly, and always ready to help with recommendations or questions. Their attention to detail really made me feel welcome.

"I couldn't be happier with this apartment! Its location is absolutely unbeatable; it's practically built right on top of a subway station. You can even walk directly to The MixC Mall through a sky garden. With Subway Lines 2 and 3 right downstairs, you get direct access to the subway without even stepping onto the street, making travel incredibly convenient for reaching all the tourist spots.
The room itself was fully equipped. The shower pressure was fantastic and super effective – after a long day of sightseeing, coming back and enjoying a wonderfully refreshing hot shower was just what I needed!
The concierge service was exceptional. They thoughtfully provided detailed routes to various attractions and excellent dining recommendations. Highly recommend!"

The room itself was spotless, modern, and well-appointed with thoughtful touches such as complimentary bottled water, a well-stocked minibar, and high-quality toiletries. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and I appreciated the blackout curtains that allowed for a restful night’s sleep. The Wi-Fi was strong and reliable, which made it easy to work and stream without interruption.
One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet. The variety was impressive, ranging from fresh fruit and pastries to made-to-order hot dishes. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared, and the dining area was both stylish and relaxed.
The location of the hotel is also excellent. It’s conveniently close to public transport, restaurants, and major attractions, making it easy to explore the city.

"For our family trip, we chose the Qingdao Haitian Hotel. The hotel's setting, amenities, and location were all exceptional. But what truly set it apart was the service, which far exceeded our expectations. We stayed for three nights, and Jack on the Executive Floor provided such incredibly thoughtful service that he truly made us feel at home. He even upgraded us to an Executive Floor room. He also thoughtfully considered our travel fatigue and provided steam eye masks to help us unwind. If we ever get the chance to visit Qingdao for a third time, Haitian will undoubtedly be our top choice. It truly offers a home-away-from-home experience."

"The room was standard, but the service was absolutely excellent. It was my birthday during our stay, and they even surprised me with a birthday cake – a truly thoughtful gesture. The hotel's location is fantastic, right next to MixC City, putting all kinds of dining, shopping, and entertainment within easy reach. It's also just a fifteen-minute walk to May Fourth Square and the seaside, making it incredibly convenient for enjoying the sea views, scenic spots, and the nightly light show. The breakfast spread was generous, and the swimming pool was never too busy, so we thoroughly enjoyed our time there."

"I'm extremely pleased with my stay, and it offers excellent value for money. The hotel is located right on Zhongshan Road. While the area downstairs is bustling, the soundproofing is excellent, so the room was very quiet. The location is superb; several famous attractions are within walking distance, making it ideal for city walks. Additionally, the staff at the front desk were incredibly warm and helpful. The room came equipped with a complimentary mini-fridge and drinks, and even a nail care kit – a very thoughtful touch. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, and it tasted great. The hotel's entrance isn't grand, but the overall experience was top-notch, which is why I've written such a lengthy review. Satisfied!"

"This hotel would be the best hotel in Zhongshan Area. Hotel Name is included with ” Min-sook”. But it is similar with Hotel. I have traveled in Japan, China and Asia countries in 2024~2025. This hotel is the best hotel based on Money Value. I booked the twin room but it was promoted to Sweet room with balcony. I could look around the ZhongShan road.I stayed 3'rd floor and very convenient to move via elevator. All staff is kind and helpful and you need not purchase the drinking water in store. In frond desk, I could take a complimentary water bottle as many as I like. The most important thing is location. I took a subway from Airport to hotel. the Zhongshan road station is the next building from hotel.
I took only 1 min form subway station. it is so good. Just subway fee 7 yien per person. but it took as 1 and half hour. but I think it would be one of travelling. 2'nd positive thing is I could choose the Various restaurants in nearby. seafood , china food, steak and especially, CHAGEE is opposite from hotel. I will stay again with my family in next time."

"The room was spotless and well-equipped, featuring a charming retro-style courtyard design. Most importantly, it's located right on Shangjieli Pedestrian Street, which I consider Qingdao's best spot for photos, shopping, and soaking in the local vibe (Yinyu Lane is close but doesn't compare). As soon as you step out, you're surrounded by various small shops, so you'll have no trouble finding food, drinks, or entertainment. Don't bother booking breakfast with your room; there are plenty of breakfast options right across the street. You're also right on the famous Zhongshan Road. The Cathedral is just a short walk away, and if you head south for about 800 meters, you'll reach Zhanqiao Pier, perfect for playing in the sand by the sea. On your way back, a seafood meal at '1937' is highly recommended and truly satisfying. The hotel also has a designated, very convenient parking lot, just about a 5-minute walk away. For day two, if you plan to drive to Badaguan, simply search for 'Badaguan Scenic Area Taipingjiao 1st Road Ground Parking Lot' for convenient parking. From there, you can walk along the coast directly to Huashi Lou (Flower Stone Building) and then explore the area's other attractions at your leisure."

"When taking the kids to Qingdao for National Day holiday, the May Fourth Square shopping district was our top choice. This hotel is next to the MixC, right in the heart of the city. Prices are generally high during the National Day holiday, and this serviced apartment has spacious rooms and complete amenities. It includes a washing machine (with dryer) and a microwave. The 52-square-meter room was very comfortable for two nights. I stayed on the 33rd floor, with a view of Signal Hill."

GGuest UserI recently stayed at this hotel for 5 nights, and while there were some great aspects, a few major issues affected my experience.
Positives:
• Comfortable Bedding: The mattress, pillows, and blankets were very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s rest.
• Convenient Location: The hotel is within walking distance of the sea and the train station, making it easy to explore the area.
• Helpful Staff: The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating.
• Breakfast Options: A good mix of Chinese and Western cuisine was available.
Negatives:
• Air Conditioning Issues: The air conditioning only provides heating, with no option for cold air. Even when set to a cooler temperature, the system remains in auto mode with a fixed degree, making the room uncomfortably warm. We had to rely on the stand fan provided to avoid sweating while sleeping.
• Bathroom Odors: The ventilation system seems to circulate second-hand smoke, likely from other guests smoking in their bathrooms. At times, the air carried either cigarette smoke or urine odors, which were very unpleasant. Keeping the door closed helped slightly, but housekeeping would leave it open after cleaning, causing the room to smell bad upon returning.
Overall, I would consider staying with this hotel brand again, but not at this particular branch due to the air conditioning and bathroom ventilation issues. The service from the front desk was good, but these factors significantly impacted my stay.

GGuest UserDefinitely not a 5 star hotel they claim to be on Trip.com.
The first room we were checked-in had a broken window that couldn’t be opened and the reception didn’t know about it, although the window was closed with a tape and they should have known that this room had a problem. There were not many guests in the hotel and plenty of rooms to be offered.
In the next room we found out that the show was out of hot water. The problem was with the central supply system and instead of repairing it themselves, the hotel engineer was coming to our room claiming that we should discharge water for 5-10 minutes before hot water starts coming out. This kept going for almost an hour, we were tired and wanted to sleep because it was late evening. The problem didn’t require our assistance because the problem was with the whole hot water supply system, not with our exact room.
Also, they brought us a small heater to the room which I was surprised about, but then I understood that it was because the air-conditioner which had a heater mode, didn’t work well. I doubt that the hotel would have enough heaters for all rooms in case they had more guests. Without the heater it was quite cold in the room.
Next morning the house keeper came at 9-30 am!!!Which is insane. We were sleeping. I’ve never encountered a hotel at which the house keeper came that early and disturbed the guests.
Finally when leaving the hotel, we wanted to take those one-time use sleepers with us to use during the flight and found out to our surprise, that for 4 days we were living in the hotel sleepers were not changed even once. I called the reception, it was early morning (like 6-30 am) and they told me that the house keeper will bring us the sleepers when she comes to work. I told that we were leaving already and the reception promised to bring the sleepers asap. 10 minutes later nobody came and we went to check-out. At the check-out I asked for the sleepers again and told the receptionist that the taxi has almost arrived, so that she could bring us the sleepers first and then proceed with the check-out. She didn’t listen to me, still first processed the check-out and only after it went for the sleepers. So it basically took me half an hour and my nerves to get the sleepers that were supposed to be in my room from the very beginning.
The general manager talked to us after the case with the hot water and the house keeper coming early in the morning. He was very polite, but this doesn’t eliminate the fact that basic services in this hotel leave much to be desired.
On the plus side, very comfortable beds and clean spacious room.

SSanqiujiziThis was my first time staying at a Westin. Despite online comments suggesting subpar service, I found it wasn't nearly as bad as portrayed. When the room's curtain got a bit stuck, the front desk immediately sent someone to fix it. Also, when I requested a sea view upon booking, they promptly confirmed and arranged the room details over the phone. They even assisted with my large luggage, bringing it into the hotel.
The lounge and breakfast were definitely the highlights. The variety was extensive and catered well to different preferences. My only minor suggestion would be to expand the dessert options in the lounge. I would definitely consider staying here again. Oh, and the complimentary teddy bear was adorable!

AAnonymous UserFirst off, the location is excellent, right across from City Hall and directly facing May Fourth Square.
Secondly, on the way from the front desk to the elevator, there are two sets of stairs. One has a ramp, which is convenient for luggage, but the other is just stairs, meaning you have to carry your bags. Stepping out of the elevator into the hallway leading to our room, there was a strong smell of smoke and the carpet was visibly dirty. Once inside the room, we found a hair on the toilet seat and another under the rim of the drinking glass. There was also a torn corner of a small wrapper under the curtain. In one of the corners on the way from the elevator to the room, there was a PV mat placed by the greenery, and it hadn't been moved for at least three days of our three-night stay.
Thirdly, the room only had standard two and three-pin power outlets, with no USB charging ports, which are so commonly found these days. In the shower, there was only a tiny shelf for toiletries, but it was far too small, and everything kept falling off. Another thing that puzzled me was that an emergency pull cord system was installed, but the cord itself was missing. Why bother installing it then?
Finally, the most appalling thing was that last night, past 11 PM, a jackhammer started, along with hammering, sounding like it was right above our heads. We tried calling the front desk first, but the line was constantly busy. Luckily, the hotel's WeChat corporate account, which we had previously added, was still responsive. They coordinated a solution, and the noise stopped in about half an hour, which was quite efficient. But then, to make matters worse, this morning, between 8 and 9 AM, the jackhammer started up again. While they did send a gift package as compensation, dealing with this kind of situation during a hotel stay is truly infuriating!

I think that I can stay with peace of mind even if I have trouble traveling because the distance to the Japanese Consulate in Qingdao is close.
The area called Kyoho in Mt. Lou is very magnificent, which can be reached in about an hour from our hotel. Please go ✨ (When you visit sightseeing, you need to take a bus from the tourist center called Busan Scenic Area Tourist Service Center)

RRE_cyclingWe had an apartment on the 3rd floor. There was some dirt left in the bathroom, the drain was partly clogged by hairs which you dont immediately see, because it is under a cover. Inside the apartment there are stairs leading to a second level but upstairs there is nothing except for an additional bed and no windows.
Its a little unhandy that you need to go to the 9th floor of the neighbouring building to check in.
The view from the main apartment is pretty nice, one can see the sea from the bed! Location is also nice, close to the seafront.
