"The apartment was spacious and very comfortable to stay in. It had 2 bathrooms, which was super convenient, but I really wish there was a bidet spray — it would make the stay perfect 😭 The TV didn’t work at all, though. I was impressed with the housekeeping service. They replaced and refilled everything every day. There’s also a minimart downstairs, which made everything very convenient. Ordering food delivery was easy because the building provided a local Chinese phone number for guests. The location was great, very close to MixC mall, and the sea was just across the area 🌊 However, there were people smoking inside the building and even around the elevator lobby, which made the atmosphere less pleasant. Also, on rainy days the fog was so heavy that the view completely disappeared. But the night view was absolutely stunning — the city lights looked amazing ✨"

Most importantly, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Since my phone number isn't a Chinese number, I couldn't scan and unlock the shared electric bikes myself. The staff patiently helped us scan the QR code and assisted us every time we needed it, which made getting around much easier. Their kindness and willingness to help really made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, this resort exceeded our expectations, and we would happily stay here again on our next visit!"

When the weather's good, the unobstructed sea view from the hotel's high floors is absolutely breathtaking, like something out of a fairy tale. Since I always come for the top-notch facilities, I've never really had high expectations for the service quality, and I can tell the service team is quite young with varying levels of experience. However, this time, butler Tim really surprised me. He proactively and promptly attended to my needs, helped me arrange a room change and late check-out, and gave me immediate feedback regarding the bathroom odor and cleaning schedule. Even during the busy peak season, he provided incredibly thoughtful and responsible butler service. I'll definitely be back to the St. Regis for my fourth and fifth stays when I visit Qingdao again."

"The hotel room was quite large; even two people would have been very comfortable. The girls who checked me in at reception were very, very friendly. I only used the hotel's airport shuttle service, which was fine, but I couldn't use the airport pickup service; they didn't respond on time. My Chinese isn't very good at calling the hotel directly and making requests. So I would recommend that they be more careful in that regard. (they replied after I had left😆) Overall, the cleanliness was very good. The only issue is that they don't seem to clean the glass wall in the bathroom very often; I hadn't even used it yet and it was already dirty. And just one recommendation: the tea they left in the room was delicious, and I learned that in Chinese culture they don't use sugar in tea. But I'm not Chinese, and I do need something sweet 😁😅😆 They could add a small cookie or something sweet for those of us who need something sweet."

"Jiaodong Airport is really far. My flight landed at 9:30 PM, and I didn't get to the hotel until 11:30 PM. When I arrived, I met Ariane (Ms. Wang). I had originally booked a small sea-view suite, but after discussing it, she upgraded me to a 270-degree sea-view room. It turned out to be a great decision; the view from the room was fantastic, and I could enjoy the ocean right from my bed. After checking in, I added Ms. Wang on WeChat. She was incredibly responsive for room cleaning and bringing requested items, which was very convenient. The breakfast was good with a wide variety of dishes, but it was too crowded. The next day, I decisively opted for the Executive Lounge on the 30th floor. Although there were fewer options, the experience was much better, and the views were great too. The scent in the lobby was pleasant, but a bit too strong; I'd suggest making it a little lighter. I'll definitely choose the Hyatt Regency Qingdao again on my next visit."

It's also a twenty-minute walk to May Fourth Square. However, the soundproofing is poor; you can hear conversations from the next room. The triple room is spacious, but the cleaning wasn't very thorough and could be improved. There's no iron or ironing board in the room. The hotel breakfast is mediocre with a limited variety of fruits. On the day of check-in, our room wasn't ready, so we had to wait for almost an hour, only getting our room key close to 3 PM."
