"My experience at the Shangri-La Hotel was excellent. Both the service and cleanliness were top-notch. A special thank you to our butler, Nina, for her exceptional service! We had booked a Horizon Club room, but upon arrival, we were initially directed to the Qingxiang Pavilion. Nina proactively added us on WeChat and personally escorted us to the Horizon Club for check-in. Learning that we were traveling by car, she took the initiative to register our license plate, telling us to relax in our room first and informing us that parking would be free during our stay. This made entering and exiting the parking garage very convenient, saving us a lot of hassle. During our stay, Nina would ask for our preferred time daily to deliver fresh fruit to our room. She also thoughtfully provided special Qingdao local beverages, which I absolutely loved. This really allowed us to experience the rich local culture of Qingdao, greatly enhancing our trip. When the hotel conducted a voltage check, Nina promptly messaged us to remind us and assured us there was nothing to worry about, showing incredible foresight. When we checked out, we had a lot of luggage. After I explained the situation to Nina, she immediately arranged for a bellhop to help us bring our bags downstairs. She anticipated every need throughout our stay, making the entire check-in process incredibly smooth. The service was warm and attentive. I truly love the Shangri-La Hotel in Qingdao; it's a benchmark in the industry!"

Enjoying the light show at May Fourth Square with the sea breeze and roadside coffee shops is fantastic. The staff are warm and attentive. The environment and hygiene are excellent, highly recommended."

"This hotel's location is incredibly convenient. The beach is just a short stroll away, perfect for an evening walk. There are plenty of shopping malls and plazas nearby, including Ginza Plaza, which is within easy walking distance. You'll find a wide variety of dining options to choose from. Supermarkets, bubble tea shops, and more are all within walking distance, making everything very easy when you stay here. The hotel itself is also great. The room was spacious, not at all cramped. What I liked most was how quiet it was; I slept really soundly at night. There was also something rather clever – I'm not sure if the hallway had air conditioning or what, but as soon as I entered the room, it was wonderfully cool and comfortable. That feeling in the middle of summer was just perfect. I can't pinpoint where the cool air came from, but I just instantly felt refreshed and it was quite cozy. Overall, if you want convenience without the noise, this place is a perfect fit."

"The environment is relatively quiet, with fewer people compared to other hotels. The semi-buffet breakfast has also been cancelled, probably due to cost-cutting. For a price of 2600 a night, I didn't experience the meticulous and thoughtful service that I'd expect; it was much worse than other five-star hotels. I'm not sure if this is a Qingdao characteristic or a brand characteristic. There was no room upgrade, and my child's breakfast was only waived after a hygiene issue in the room. The turndown service was decent. Overall, the value for money is very low."

"I stayed for two nights, one in a sea view room and one in a city view room. After my stay, I can definitely say that the sea view room is worth the extra cost. We stayed in a twin sea view room on the 17th floor, which offered an expansive view and beautiful scenery. Opening the window to see the ocean instantly lifted my spirits. The room was very spacious, the facilities were brand new, and the bedding was quite comfortable. The breakfast selection was rich and delicious; the Roujiamo, egg tarts, Jianbing, and Japanese bibimbap were all exceptionally good. I also tried the executive lounge on the 30th floor, which had an amazing view overlooking the sea. For dinner, there was a wide variety of options including desserts, seafood, stir-fried dishes, cold dishes, and sushi. The desserts weren't overly sweet, the seafood was very fresh, and the overall taste of the dishes was good. The beverage selection was also extensive. The pool and gym on the 31st floor offer stunning sea views if you visit during the day, making for a superb experience. The hotel also offers daily family-friendly activities such as Hanfu experiences and movie screenings, ensuring guests won't get bored even if they don't go out. I also have to mention MGM's milk tea – it had just the right amount of sweetness and a rich tea flavor. Even as someone who doesn't usually enjoy milk tea, I thought it was excellent, living up to its reputation as a popular internet celebrity drink. If I had to pick any downsides, one is that delivery orders cannot be brought directly to the room, and the other is that the cleanliness of the sink could be improved. All in all, my two-night stay at MGM provided the most satisfying accommodation experience of my Qingdao trip."

When I had questions, their answers were practical and clear, not just empty pleasantries, and they genuinely helped resolve my issues effectively. Beyond just handling basic procedures smoothly, their impromptu problem-solving skills in unexpected situations truly showcased the team's professionalism. Throughout my interactions, I felt secure and at ease, sensing the front office team's genuine commitment to guest requests. Putting aside the hotel's amenities, this personalized service significantly enhanced my overall impression of the stay and is truly commendable. If I visit Qingdao again, I will definitely prioritize choosing this hotel."

It's also very close to MixC Mall and the Olympic Sailing Center. Our room was on the 31st floor, offering expansive views and a spectacular city nightscape. The room was spotlessly clean and tidy, with all bedding and toiletries provided. We especially loved the smart voice control ('Xiao Ai Tongxue') for turning on lights and controlling the curtains – super convenient and a great smart experience. The owner was incredibly warm and thoughtful, responsive to communications, and provided clear check-in instructions, making the whole process hassle-free. Our overall stay far exceeded expectations, and we will definitely be back!"

"Qingdao Landsea Hotel Laoshan Branch was an amazing experience! The location is superb, right next to the subway station and the Lida commercial area. It's also within walking distance to Shilaoren Beach and the Exhibition Center. The rooms are spacious and bright, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom, and the zero-gravity mattress was incredibly comfortable. The service was attentive and thoughtful, and the breakfast was abundant with plenty of local specialties. It's perfect for both business and leisure, highly recommended!"
