Likelai Hotel (Qingdao Licun Metro Station)

Overall I think the hotel was great for the price. The location especially was very convenient compared to others at the same price point- lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The staff was also a standout, they had seemingly very genuine smiles every time they greeted us. The only issue I experienced was receiving a bath towel with a sizable hole in it from continued use. Otherwise the amenities were generally good. City night view was lovely. Metro was only a 2-3 minute walk.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel in Qingdao, and there are some noteworthy aspects to share. First and foremost, the receptionist displayed exceptional customer service. Our early morning arrival was met with a warm welcome and an unexpected early check-in. This considerate gesture allowed us to freshen up and kick-start our adventure, setting a positive tone for our stay. During our visit, there was a minor hiccup with housekeeping - a misplaced pair of Nike Air Max shoes. Thankfully, the vigilant receptionist swiftly resolved the issue, locating and returning the missing item promptly. To make amends for the inconvenience, they went the extra mile, offering a small gift and complimentary breakfast coupons as a gesture of goodwill. Such attentiveness to guest needs is truly commendable. While we chose to explore authentic local cuisine during our trip, bypassing hotel dining, I cannot provide feedback on the food quality or variety. In terms of location, this hotel scores points for convenience. Taxis are readily available, and it took us just 30 minutes to reach the stunning Laoshan Mountain, a must-visit destination. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to a bustling night market right across the street adds to its appeal. However, there's room for improvement, notably in the cleanliness department. The bathrooms, in particular, left much to be desired, with an unpleasant odour lingering during our stay. Broken equipment, such as the wardrobe, was also in need of repair. Furthermore, the electric kettle was not up to our cleanliness standards, discouraging its use. In summary, this hotel offers excellent customer service, convenient access to transportation and local attractions, and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction. However, attention to cleanliness and maintenance, especially in the bathrooms, is an area that could use some enhancement.

Great location，breakfast is good with choices, room floor can clearly see dirty marks ; only thing was made me worry is anyone can get into your level without pass. We were stayed at level 9, everything time I walk to lift can see people sitting on sofa using phone charger; plus in the morning I even saw people slept on the public sofa on level 9. Wish hotel can improve safety measure by only has room card could access the life and hotel levels.

I enjoyed this stay very much, as it was in the heart of Licun, Qingdao, which I did not know very well. A lot to see in the area and easy access to the metro system. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was good and the room was very comfortable. The water pressure was poor but did not matter much. I would definitely recommend this to others as an inexpensive stay option.
