The environment here is fantastic! The front desk staff upgraded my room, which was spacious and bright. The room was spacious, especially with two large beds and a very roomy sofa. The bathroom was also quite spacious. Across the street is MixC shopping mall, which was super convenient for grabbing food and drinks every evening after coming back. It's only a few hundred meters from May Fourth Square, so strolling along the beach was a breeze. I even went for a 15km run along the coast in the morning, came back, showered, and was ready to go. I stayed in a sea-view room, and I could enjoy the ocean view of Taiping Cape right from my bed. If I had to pick a minor downside, the heating was too strong and hard to turn down, making it a bit hot for sleeping. I ended up turning off the heater and opening a window.

The ocean view was truly impressive, and being on a high floor made it even better—waking up to the wide, open sea and watching the city lights reflect on the water at night was a real highlight. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room to relax, unpack luggage, and enjoy the stay without feeling cramped. Another major advantage is the location. I got suite room. This hotel boasts an exceptional location for anyone traveling through the region or visiting the vibrant coastal city of Qingdao. It is perfectly situated right next to the iconic May 4th Square, just a short, scenic stroll from the walking street and the waterfront where you can enjoy the spectacular evening light show. The room itself is immaculately clean, and the metro is only next to the hotel building which is the same building with The Westin hotel, making transport effortless. You can even see May 4th and tower and river view from your room. Both the lady and gentleman at the reception were incredibly gracious and helpful throughout my stay. A wonderful and thoughtful bonus is the inclusion of a washing machine and detergent directly in the room. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!
